Phasianus colchicus is not only a beautiful bird but also a great value in science and under the threat of endanger. Hence, the aim of this study was to isolate the pheasant male germ cells (mGCs) and then induce them into elongatedsperm-like cells in vitro. The mGCs were purified and enriched by a two-step plating method based on the differentadherence velocities of mGCs and somatic cells. The percentage of the c-kit positive cells and c-kit negative cellsexamined by flow cytometry analysis (FCA) was 92.87% and 2.57%, respectively. Subsequently, the mGCs were inducedfor 48h in DMEM/F12 medium supplemented factors such as retinol acid, testosterone and bovine FSH, followed by 5weeks in culture. We found that some elongated sperm-like cells appeared initially in vitro under inducement of stimulatedfactors. The elongated sperm-like cells showed in the expression of changed morphology and post-transcriptionalmarker such as spermatid associated (SPERT), spermatid perinuclear RNA binding protein (STRBP), round spermatidbasic protein 1 (RSBN1) and SPER1L. Moreover, in DNA content identified assay, induced cells showed that the 1CDNA population markedly increased in differentiated group but it was not change in undifferentiated group. Successfulin vitro differentiation of pheasant testicular germline cells into spermatids appears to offer extremely attractive potentialfor the conservation of endangered birds and treatment of male infertility.

2001년에는 저가의 보급형 미니랩이 출시되어 기존 제품의 수요가 이미 소진됐다는 것을 반증했으며, 2002년에는 보급형 기종간의 경쟁이 치열할 것으로 예상된다. 국내 아날로그를 포함한 전체 미니랩기기는 약 7천연대로 추정되며 현재까지 디지털 미니랩이 170여대로 아날로그 기기를 대체하는데 시장 확대 수요는 많은 여유가 있다고 예상된다.
Synthesis of Deep Blue Thermal Delayed Activated Fluorescent Material Containing Triazole

The molecular design of Thermally Activated Delayed Flourescence (TADF) with excellent quantum efficiency minimizes the energy difference between singlet and triplet energy states, so that the triplet state to singlet state transition (Reverse Intersystem Crossing (RISC) can easily occur, and the donor intensity and it should be designed to emit blue light in the short wavelength region by controlling the intensity of the donor and acceptor. In this study, the triazole derivatives DMACtTAZ and DPX-tTAZ were designed and synthesized with a deep blue TADF material that can be used in the light emitting layer of an organic light emitting diode (OLED) device. DMAC-tTAZ and DPX- tTAZ used DMAC and PX as electron donor units and tTAZ as electron acceptor units, respectively, to control singlet state and triplet state energy. ** This research was supported by the KDRC (Korea Display Research Consortium) support program for the development of future devices technology for display industry.
