This study was started to propose the direction of a waterfront city’s continuous utilization based on safety and public good while being focused on the reaction to climate changes. While researches and facilities related to climate changes are increasing and many problems are occurring from natural disasters worldwide, the directly affected waterfront areas are only interpreted from the meaning of urban development. Thus, starting from the fact that a uniform waterfront development method is being repeated with a passive attitude, a direction of waterfront development to adapt and react to climate changes will be presented from an architectural viewpoint. Based on the awarded proposals of the waterfront city design for New York and Boston that suffered massive damage from Hurricane Sandy, public service equality and activation of local community were pursued and a waterfront planning method capable of maintaining the functionality and characteristics of a waterfront area while providing safety was reviewed through a waterfront space plan including living, commercial and public space addressing the climate changes. In addition, the flexible actions of waterfront areas upon disaster were discussed from the viewpoint of architecture and space. The analysis was performed by focusing on the infrastructure such as wetland and green zones, water space and waterfront space as the their symbolic meaning and history, institutional proposals etc. while taking the public space and buildings as the main factors. Then, the factors that can be applied on future waterfront areas were derived to explore the utility of waterfront cities upon abnormal climate.
수소화 표면 개질이 나노다이아몬드 seed 입자의 분산 및 핵형성 밀도에 미치는 영향

수소 분위기 열처리 및 수소 플라즈마 처리의 두 가지 수소화 표면개질을통해 나노다이아몬드 seed 입자의 분산 향상 및 평탄한 초미세 나노결정질 다이아몬드 박막증착을 위한 핵형성 밀도 향상을 확보하였다. 수소화 처리 이후 나노다이아몬드 입자 표면의 탄소-산소 및 산소-수소 결합기가 탄소-수소 결합기로 전환되는 화학적 표면개질이 진행되었고 Zeta 전위가 증가하였다. 분산도 향상에 따라 나노다이아몬드 응집체 크기가 현저하게 감소하였고 핵형성 밀도는 크게 증가하였다. 600℃, 수소분위기에서 열처리 이후 나노다이아몬드 평균 입자 크기가 3.5 ㎛에서 34.5 nm로 크게 감소하였고, seeding 된 Si 기판 표면에서 ~3.9 × 10<sup>11</sup> nuclei/㎠의 매우 높은 핵형성 밀도를 확보하였다. Two hydrogenation surface modifications, namely hydrogen atmosphere heat treatment and hydrogen plasma treatment, were found to lead to improved dispersion of nanodiamond (ND) seed particles and enhanced nucleation density for deposition of smooth ultrananocrystalline diamond (UNCD) film. After hydrogenation, the C-O and O-H surface functionalities on the surface of nanodiamond particles were converted to the C-H surface functionalities, and the Zeta potential was increased. As the degree of dispersion was improved, the size of nanodiamond aggregates decreased significantly and nucleation density increased dramatically. After hydrogen heat treatment at 600℃, average size of ND particles was greatly reduced from 3.5 ㎛ to 34.5 nm and a very high nucleation of ~3.9 × 10<sup>11</sup> nuclei/㎠ was obtained for the seeded Si surface.
파생 사이트 디자인에서 다중 양식과 프레임 촉진의 관계에 관한 실험적 연구

오늘날 웹 디자인의 다양성은 급속하게 증가하여 사용자에게 최적의 만족감을 제공하기 위한 디자인 양식 효과에 대한 검증이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구는 다중 양식의 이해를 위해 단일 부호화 이론과 이중 부호화 이론을 고찰하고, 프레임 이론에 대한 선행 연구들을 통해 프레이밍이 웹 사이트 사용자들의 지각과 정보처리결과에 매우 효과적임을 고찰하였다. 그리고 다중 양식을 달리 적용한 세 가지 타입의 파생 사이트 디자인을 제작하여 온라인 사용자들을 대상으로 다중 양식의 회상 효과를 측정하고, 그로 인한 프레임 촉진 효과를 조사하여 그 관계를 알아보았다. 그 결과, 다중 양식 디자인이 복합적일수록 사용자들은 더 높은 수준의 회상 효과를 나타냈으며, 프레임 촉진과 일정한 관계가 있음이 증명되었다. The diversity of web design has been rapidly increased so the verification of the effect on design mode to offer the optimum satisfaction to users is needed today. This study examines the dual- and the single-coding theory in order to understand the multi-modality and proves a point that the frame is effective on web site users` perception and information-processing through the research on antecedent studies on frame theory. Three different types of micro site design according to the level of multi-modality were produced and displayed to participants to measure the recall effectiveness of the multi-modality and frame facilitation and then this study examines the relationship between those two. The more the multi-modality design is complex, the higher the users` recall is effective. The result shows that multi-modality on web site design and fame facilitation keeps close relationship.
