Intraspecific diversity of Monochamus saltuarius (Gebler) based on DNA barcode analysis
전준형,변봉규,조영복,우서연,김철학,임종옥,박두상 국립중앙과학관 2015 Journal of Asia-Pacific Biodiversity Vol.8 No.4
Monochamus saltuarius has a morphological polymorphism, but there is no standard phenotype to distinguish the differences in M. saltuarius species. To investigate molecular diversity of M. saltuarius, mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase I 5’ sequence were analyzed against specimens collected from Chungbuk, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon province. The DNA barcode results showed that the specimens make two groups with a 1.68%–3.1% K2P distance, but cannot find a specific phenotype difference among the specimens.
Cooperative network와 MLP를 이용한 PSRI 특징추출 및 자동표적인식

A PSRI (position, scale, and rotation invariant ) feature extraction and automatic target recognition system using a cooperative network and an MLP is proposed. We can extract position invarient features by obtaining the target center using the projection and the moment in preprocessing stage. The scale and rotation invariant features are extracted from the contour projection of the number of edge pixels on each of the concentric circles, which is input to the cooperative network. By extracting the representative PSRI features form the features and their differentiations using max-net and min-net, we can rdduce the number of input neurons of the MLP, and make the resulted automatic target recognition system less sensitive to input variances. Experiments are conduted on various complex images which are shifted, rotated, or scaled, and the results show that the proposed system is very efficient for PSRI feature extractions and automatic target recognitions.

A neural network-based PSRI(position, scale, and rotation invariant) feature extraction and ATR (automatic target recognition) system are proposed and an efficient parallel implementatio of the proposed system using multicomputer is also presented. In the proposed system, the scale and rotationinvariant features are extracted from the contour projection of the number of edge pixels on each of the concentric circles, which is input t the cooperative network. We proposed how to decide the optimum depth and the width of the parallel pipeline system for real time applications by modeling the proposed system into a parallel pipeline implementation method using transputers is also proposed. The implementation results show that we can extract PSRI features less sensitive to input variations, and the speedup of the proposed ATR system is about 7.55 for the various rotated and scaled targets using 8-node transputer system.

Rapid and accurate identification of pest species found on quarantine inspection is of great importance to prevent an economic loss of agricultural commodities. In this study, we testedMALDI-TOFmass spectrometry to discriminate the larvae of threemorphologically similar pest species, Carposina sasakii, Grapholita molesta and Grapholita dimorpha, which usually found in Korean fruit exported to Asia and western countries. Uniquemass spectra profile byMALDI-TOFMS covering awide molecularmass range of 2000–20,000 Dawere produced from twelve reference samples for three species. The Principal Component Analysis and the heat map profile showed similar pattern within same species regardless of body part of a larvae, however showed clear discrimination between different species. This identification method can discriminate species within 15 min with a relatively small sample sized 2 mm3. It also can provide a simple well documented protocol and can be widely applied to identify pests that essentially needed an urgent identification such as quarantine inspection or health related pest monitoring to reduce an economic loss or to control the spread of the disease
