Multicomputer 시스템에 적용하는 임의의 Beta-network(B-net)에 대하여 switching element 사이를 연결하는 link line의 Maximal Disjoint Tolerable Fault Set(MDTFS)을 구하는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 이를 이용하여 B-net의 fault tolerance의 정도를 결정하는 기준을 소개하였다.
A Study on Programming Ability Assessment Tool Development for the No-Programming Experienced

Programming is very important subject in computer science and similar computer-related areas such as electronics engineering, etc. Programming is also important for information education for elementary, middle, and high school students since programming is one of the most basic subjects in computer science courses and other similar areas. In current information and knowledge society, raising programming ability is a key factor for everyone’s competitiveness. With highly-competitive programming ability, one can enjoy his or her daily life abundantly. He or she also can get a highly-paid job, and make money using his or her programming ability. In this paper, a programming ability assessment tool is developed and introduced for the no-programming experienced. It is very difficult to test programming ability for the no-programming experienced with non-programming tools or activities. In this paper, a programming ability assessment tool is developed based on logical thinking ability. Especially the proposed tool consists of 15 questions for test one’s logical thinking ability. The tool does not require any computer science or programming background. The proposed tool will be helpful as criteria for entrance examination or job screening examination for programming-related areas or subjects.

Amid the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics debate on the Four Gods culture between China and South Korea, this study explores the East Asian Four Gods culture in China, Japan, and Korea through comparative mythology. Emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach combining archaeology, anthropology, literature, history, and psychology, the research reveals the commonalities and differences in the Four Gods' depiction and significance across these cultures through literature analysis, tomb mural comparisons, and feng shui practices. The study proposes the feasibility and necessity of establishing a Four Gods cultural community as a step toward a broader East Asian cultural community, providing theoretical support for this concept. Future research should expand to other regions influenced by East Asian culture, explore modern applications of Four Gods symbolism, and develop digital tools for the preservation and dissemination of this cultural heritage.
A Study on the Current Status and Improvement of Digital Divide for the Disabled in Korea

Due to the fast development of information and communication technology, many people are enjoying benefits. However, there are those who do not enjoy the benefits of such information technology due to physical disabilities or economic reasons. This class is classified as an information-vulnerable class with so-called digital divide, and the disabled can be said to be a representative information-vulnerable class. The purpose of the paper is to identify the various causes of digital divide and propose improvement measures for the disabled in Korea. For this purpose, the digital divide data by the national institution over the past four years were analyzed. Through various statistical analysis, it was found that the main cause of the digital divide was insufficient information competency among the three factors diagnosing the digital divide namely, information access, information competency, and information utilization. It was also found that the information utilization activities of the disabled were not productive and consumption-oriented
A Study on the Development of Student Evaluation Standards for Unplugged Computing

With the development of information and communication technology, information literacy and utilization are emerging as basic skills necessary for modern people. Accordingly, information education is becoming a basic literacy education for a nation. Unplugged computing is in the spotlight as a major educational method of information education. The main advantage of unplugged computing is that it is easy to convey basic theories or principles of computer science to students through play activities without the help of special information devices such as computers and tablet PCs. However, studies on student evaluation on unplugged computing have been very insufficient. In this study, students' evaluation standards are developed to maximize the educational effect of unplugged computing. The evaluation standards consist of four areas: participation, interest, satisfaction, and understanding of concepts. The results of this study can be used as a basic study for student evaluation of unplugged computing in the future.

전 세계 각 나라가 추진하고 있는 경제성장은 환경오염이라는 부작용을 유발하게 되었다. 환경오염은 화석연 료의 과다한 사용으로 인한 이산화탄소의 막대한 배출이 주원인이며, 지구온난화를 비롯한 여러 가지 문제를 유발하고 있다. 그린 IT는 환경오염을 해결하는 방법으로서 최근 각광을 받고 있으며, 또한 IT산업을 발전시키 기 위한 방안으로 주목받고 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 초등학생을 위한 그린 IT 교육내용을 개발하는 데 있다. 이를 위한 다양한 국내외 문헌조사 를 통해 실천지침을 조사하고 분석하였다. 본 논문에서는 초등학생을 위한 그린 IT 교육내용 개발을 위해서, 지식, 기능 및 가치관 차원에서 교육내용을 개발하였으며, 특히 기능차원의 실천지침의 타당성을 검증하기 위해서 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 설문조사결과를 통하여 교육내용을 선별하였다. 본 교육내용은 향후 그린 IT 교육에 좋은 지침이 되리라 기대한다. While every nation in the world is emphasizing economic growth, we are confronting a side effect called environmental pollution. The main cause of environmental pollution is abuse of fossil fuels which emit carbon dioxide and are causing various problems including global worming. Green IT becomes popular as a method to reduce environmental pollution as well as a method to develop IT industry. The purpose of this paper is to develop education contents of green IT for elementary school students. For this purpose, extensive literature review works have been searched and analysed. In this paper, education contents of green IT are developed for three categories, knowledge, application, and ethics. In order to verify the validity of practical guidelines in application category, 55 elementary school teachers are randomly selected and their responses are gathered and analyzed through thorough statistical work. We expect that the proposed education contents will be guidelines for future green IT education.
A Study on Usefulness of Convergent Education Curriculum for Gifted Children in IT

In the present knowledge and information society, knowledge and use of information and communication technology(ICT) is very important for every citizen. Also, for national power of a nation, IT-related industries need to be supported since those industries can be reconstructed in a short period of time unlike other industries. In this sense, identification and education of gifted children in IT become a serious national issue. Since 2013, gifted education has been conducted as a form of convergent education by government policy. However, there have been controversies on convergent education for gifted education. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the usefulness of convergent curriculum for gifted education in IT. For this purpose, gifted children in IT in a gifted education center are analyzed. By comparing the entrance ranking and graduation ranking, it is concluded that the current convergent gifted curriculum may not be efficient.
교육용 프로그래밍 언어와 정보영재아동의 프로그래밍능력의 상관관계분석 연구

현대 지식정보사회에 있어서 한 국가의 핵심 산업은 정보산업에 달려있으며, 국가경쟁력의 향상을 위해 무엇보다도 정보 분야의 육성이 중요하다. 따라서 정보사회를 선도할 수 있는 정보영재의 발굴 및 육성은 매우 중요하다. 또한 정보영재교육에 있어서 프로그래밍은 매우 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 교육용 프로그래밍 언어(Educational Programming Language: EPL)가 정보영재아동의 프로그래밍 능력을 나타낼 수 있는 가를 밝혀내는 것이다. 이를 위해 가장 널리 사용되는 EPL 중의 하나인 스크래치(Scratch) 언어를 선택하여 기존의 고급 프로그래밍 언어인 비주얼 베이직 언어와의 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 통계분석을 통한 결과, EPL은 정보영재아동의 프로그래밍 능력을 측정하기에는 한계가 있다는 결론을 얻었다. 본 연구결과는 향후 정보영재의 판별 및 정보영재교육과정에 많은 도움이 되리라 기대한다. In current knowledge-based society, development and growth of IT industry is essential for a nation's competitiveness since economic power depends on IT industry in many countries. Thus, it is necessary to identify and foster gifted children in IT as early as possible. The purpose of this paper is to identify if EPL is proper language for testing programming ability of the gifted children in IT. Scratch language is selected as an EPL. For the experiment, gifted children from a gifted institution at some university are selected and their programming test scores are gathered and analyzed. Based on statistical analysis, the conclusion is that Scratch language is not proper for testing programming ability for the gifted children in IT. This result will be helpful for selection examinations, curriculum for gifted education in IT.

현재 영재교육은 정부방침에 따라 융합형태의 교육을 지향하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 정보영재아동에 있어 서 정보과목과 과학과목(물리, 화학, 생물, 지학)의 상관관계를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시내 한 대학부 설 과학영재교육원의 정보영재아동을 대상으로 재학기간의 성적을 바탕으로 분석하였다. 통계분석 결과 정보과 목과 생물과목의 상관관계를 보여주었다. 즉 정보과목을 잘하면 생물과목도 잘하는 것으로 분석되었다. 나머지 물리, 화학 및 지구과학과목에 대해서는 상관관계가 없음을 나타내었다. 본 연구결과는 향후 정보영재교육에 있 어서 과학과목의 비중, 교육내용의 구성 등에 중요한 기초자료로 사용될 것이다. Currently gifted education aims for convergent gifted education according to government policy. The purpose of this paper is to investigate correlation of information subject and science subject(physics, chemistry, biology, and geology) for the gifted children in IT. For this purpose, the gifted children in IT who attended a gifted science education center attached to a university at Seoul Metropolitan Area are selected. Their grades during their the period of attendance are collected and analysed. The statistical results show that there is a meaningful correlation between information subject and biology subject for the gifted children in IT. It means that the higher scores information subject is, the higher scores biology subject is. The results can be used to make or change gifted curriculum and education contents for gifted IT education.

현대 지식정보사회에 있어서 한 국가의 주축 산업은 정보관련 산업에 의존하며, 국가경쟁력의 향상을 위해 무엇보다도 정보 분야의 인재 육성이 중요하다. 또한 개인 차원에 있어서도 정보 소양 및 활용은 개인의 경쟁력 면에서 매우 중요하다. 이러한 관점에서 현대 지식정보화사회를 선도할 수 있는 정보영재의 발굴 및 육성은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 정보영재아동의 과목별 상관관계를 밝혀내는 것이다. 즉 정보영재아동에 있어서 정보, 과학, 수학 등 세 과목의 성적 상관관계를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 초등학교 4, 5, 6학년에 재학 중인 대학부설 과학영재교육원의 정보영재반 학생들의 7년간 성적을 토대로 하여 정보, 과학, 수학 과목 사이에 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 통계분석을 통한 결과, 3과목 사이에 유의미한 상관관계가 있었다. 즉 정보를 잘하는 학생들은 과학과 수학에 뛰어나며, 수학성적이 뛰어나면 과학성적도 뛰어나다는 결론을 얻었다. 본 연구결과는 향후 영재교육에 있어서 영재선발, 통합 및 융합교육과정 형성에 많은 도움이 되리라 기대한다. The purpose of this paper is to identify the correlation of academic performance per subject for the gifted children in IT. The analysis is focused on three subjects, that is, Information, Science, and Mathematics, respectively. For this purpose, the gifted children are selected and analyzed in a gifted science education center attached in a university at Seoul Metropolitan Area. The analysis results show that there is meaningful correlation among three subjects. That is, if high scores in a subject means high scores in other subjects. For instance, a gifted child with high scores in Information got high scores in Science and Mathematics. The result will be useful to improve selection examinations and curriculum for gifted education in IT, for inclusive education and convergent education.
