In this study, living in nursing homes are admitted on the basis of the experience of the adaptation process experienced by older people admitted to in-depth understanding of a broad range of topics and social services needed to adapt to life in a practical grasp of what the service is to provide evidence were performed. Suggested by Strauss and Corbin open coding, axial coding, selective coding were applied to qualitative research methods applied. 10 on the elderly and multi-faceted process of admission through in-depth interviews to collect and analyze data. Admission to nursing homes open coding, the adaptation process 179 concepts, 53 sub-categories, derived categories, and 20, the axial coding “is selected instead of selecting” causal phenomena that heart conditions, contextual conditions, and arbitration conditions, action/interaction strategies, the results were structured in order. Select the encoding of the painful process of adaptation stage entrance, optional step, step cyclical process of compliance, respectively. 본 연구는 노인요양시설에 거주하는 입소적응과정의 경험을 바탕으로 입소노인들이 겪는 다양한 내용을 심층적으로 이해하고 시설생활에 적응하는데 필요한 사회복지실천적 서비스가 무엇인지 파악할 수 있는 근거자료를 제공하기 위해 수행되었다Strauss와 Corbin에 의해 제시된 개방코딩, 축코딩, 선택코딩을 적용한 질적 연구방법을 적용하였다. 10명의 노인들과 입소과정에 관한 다면적 심층면담을 통하여 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 노인요양시설 입소적응과정으로 개방코딩에서는 179개 개념, 53개 하위범주, 20개 범주로 도출되고, 축코딩에서는 “선택아닌 선택”이라는 중심현상으로 인과적조건, 맥락적조건, 중재적조건, 작용/상호작용전략, 결과 순으로 구조화했다. 선택코딩에서는 입소적응과정으로 괴로운단계, 선택단계, 순응단계의 순환적 과정으로 나타났다.

Generally, existing building structures were not considered earthquake loadings in Korea. It is reasonable well-grounded that earthquake ground motion is infrequent occurrence up to recently. However, they can lead to fatal mis-judgement because earthquake ground motion is randomness. The purpose of this research is to compare and apply the sections of current seismic design provisions which deal with the specification of seismic design forces. As a numerical examples, the shear-wall building was used and analytical tool used ETABS program. The Korea code(1987), UBC(1994), NEHRP(1988) and BSLEO(1981, Japan) seismic provisions are included in the discussion. As a result of this study, the wall area of horizontal direction are insufficient compared with vertical direction result from sunshine and prospect and this default bring about weakness of structural safety in shear-wall apartment. In case of ground acceleration, Korea code has been considered low value(0.08g-0.12g) than Japan code(0.2g-1.0g) and EI Centro ground motion (about 0.35g). As a hope of the further research, seismic evaluation method of existing building structure should be suggest.

In this study, a method using equivalent transformation for estimation of the axial load capacity of tapered piles is proposed. While preexistent methods for estimating the axial load capacity of tapered piles have been based on the effect of soil state and taper angle, a new design method is proposed considering cone resistance and equivalent transformation in sand. Through tapered pile simplified by using equivalent transformation, a new method for quick and easy estimation of the axial load capacity of tapered pile is proposed for practical use. In order to verify the proposed method, calibration chamber test and field test were conducted. In calibration chamber test, comparison of estimated axial load capacity with measured one showed that the standard deviation and COV (Coefficient Of Variation) of estimated is 0.05~0.121, 0.04~0.05 respectively. For field test, axial load capacity by proposed method shows 2.5% under-estimation in comparison with measured value. As a result, it is found that proposed method produces satisfactory predictions for tapered piles.
