Unmet healthcare needs do not end with the phenomenon itself, but lead to possibilities of increased severity of illness. Missed opportunities for treatment at the right timing increase possibilities of complications, and affect prognosis of disease. To examine current status and trends of unmet needs in Korea, we used data from four sources: the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHNES, ‘2007–2016); the Community Health Survey (CHS ‘2008–2016); the Korea Health Panel Survey (KHP ‘2011– 2014); and the Korean Welfare Panel Study (KOWEPS ‘2006–2016). The proportion of individual reporting unmet healthcare needs as of 2016 was 8.8% (KNHNES), 11.5% (CHS), and 12.8% (KHP, as of 2014). Annual percentage change which characterizes trend for the follow-up period was -9.9%, -3.1%, and -1.3%, respectively. The proportion of individuals reporting unmet healthcare needs due to cost was 1.8% (KNHNES), 1.5% (CHS), and 3.0% (KHP). The proportion of households reporting unmet healthcare needs due to cost was 1.0% (KOWEPS). Annual percentage change was -10.0%, -15.2%, -5.4%, and -17.5%, respectively. Low income populations had more unmet healthcare needs than high income populations. Therefore, in order to improve unmet healthcare needs, it is necessary to focus on low income populations.

As the amount of livestock wastewater increases, ammonia contamination in surface water and groundwater is also increasing, and its treatment is urgently needed. In this study, indigenous soil bacteria was utilized for ammonia removal in artificial wastewater and associated removal mechanisms and efficiencies were evaluated. Two batch reactors were configurated to contain natural soil and artificial wastewater at 1:10 mass ratio, and incubated for 84 and 168 hours, respectively. The results showed that ammonia was completely removed within 48 and 72 hours in the first and second reactors, respectively. There were no significant changes in ammonia concentrations in the control groups without soil. Nitrate was formed in the reactors, indicating that the main removal mechanism of ammonia was nitrification by nitrifying bacteria. Nitrate was further converted to nitrogen gas by denitrification in the anaerobic environment, which was caused by consumption of oxygen during the nitrification process.

무인 항공기의 자율 능력에 대한 필요성이 대두됨에 따라 항공기의 자율제어수준(Autonomous Control Level)에 대한 개념을 정의하고 판별하는 일이 중요해졌다. 국외 각 기관 및 단체 등은 독자적인 자율제어수준 차트나 분류법을 개발하여 적용하고 있으며, 특히 Air Force Research Laboratory(AFRL)에서 제시한 자율제어수준 차트는 표준 자료로써 이용되고 있다. 무인 항공기의 자율성 수준을 향상시키기 위해서는, 관련된 기능 요소와 각 등급에 맞는 기술 개발에 대한 이해가 함께 이루어져야 한다. As increased the necessity of an autonomous capability of UAV, it is important to define an autonomous control level for aircraft and distinguish between each level. Outside institutions and organization develop and apply their own autonomous control level charts and taxonomy, in particular, an autonomous control level chart from AFRL is being used as standard resources. In order to improve the level of autonomy of UAV, the understanding of functional elements and development of appropriate technology for each grade should be done.
청소년 기업가정신 함양을 위한 메이커교육 프로그램 개발

Recently, entrepreneurship education has been emphasized in order to bring creative innovation to the fourth industrial revolution era. The purpose of this study is to suggest methods to promote practice by developing an educational program based on the maker education model to foster entrepreneurship of adolescents proposed in the previous study. For this purpose, we developed two kinds of programs and materials according to the subject and the level for the 3rd grader in middle school and first grader in high school. The final output was composed of the workbook for students, the guidebook for teachers, the PPT, and the worksheet for a team activity. The pilot workshop of the developed program was conducted for 14 middle school students. The final program was developed after being received advisories by three experts. This study is meaningful in that it can contribute to foster entrepreneurship education in the field by proposing specific programs required for practicing maker education for entrepreneurship. 최근 4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞이하여 창조적 혁신을 이끌어내기 위한 기업가정신 교육이 강조되고 있다. 본 연구는 선행연구에서 청소년을 위한 기업가정신 교육 방법론으로 제안된 메이커교육 설계 모형을 바탕으로 구체적인 교육 프로그램을 개발함으로써 교육 현장에서의 실천을 촉진할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중학교 3학년~고등학생을 대상으로 학습 주제군과 수준에 따라 총 2종의 프로그램과 보조 자료를 개발하였다. 최종 산출물은 학생용 교재, 교사용 가이드북, 수업용 PPT, 팀 활동용 워크시트로 구성하였다. 개발한 교육 프로그램에 대해서 중학생 14명을 대상으로 파일럿 워크숍을 실시하였으며, 전문가 3인으로부터 감수를 받아 최종 프로그램을 개발 완료하였다. 본 연구는 기업가정신 함양을 위한 메이커교육 실천에 요구되는 구체적인 프로그램을 제안함으로써 현장에서의 기업가정신 교육 착근에 기여할 수 있다는 측면에서 의의가 있다.
