        공공도서관의 실내공간특성과 청소년 만족도 및 선호도 조사

        Public libraries should be used as teenagers’ learning and recreation space. There is a need for educational facilities that teenagers can easily use after school. The learning space for adolescents in public libraries requires various forms of planning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the indoor space of public libraries’ reading rooms where teenagers can do learning and recreation activities. Basic resources for planning public libraries will be provided through a survey. The targets of the survey are limited in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. The characteristics of the indoor space such as space planning, colors and material design are analyzed by case. With a survey, satisfaction levels and preference for public libraries are researched. The results of this study are as follows. 1)The connection between the reading room and the data room is insufficient. 2)There is no discrimination in the design of each public library. 3)There was a difference between elementary school students and middle-high school students in the overall public library use and preference of learning space, which indicates the difference of each age in the use of reference room. Therefore, it is necessary to plan separate space for each age among teenagers as well as children’s reading room.

        대학도서관 주제자료실의 가구계획 및 배치유형 분석

        University libraries aim to improve not only educational effects but also the general quality of colleges. A primary way of pursuing this goal is through providing professors and students with sufficient amounts of available references and materials that can be used for academic purposes. However, even though university libraries are intended to be used by college students majoring in different fields, they tend to provide mostly books. This limited offering of resources means that they are not distinguishing themselves from regular libraries. The purpose of this study is to present basic data for the spatial design of a subject specialization room in a college library. Included in the design are recommendations for the type and placement of the furniture in the room. The summary of results for this and the conclusions are as follows: The layout of data space and reading space in a subject specialization room can be categorized into both document-oriented (document centralized and document categorized) and reading-oriented (reading centralized, all, and group types). The public reading seats and private reading seats in a subject specialization room, according to their ratio, can be divided into private reading, public reading, and distributed reading sections. The ratio of open-spaced tables is higher for groups of four or more people, but users often sit separately from others in order to ensure privacy. Unfortunately, this practice results in seating gaps that do not make efficient use of space. The result is that the public reading seats are less efficient than the private reading seats in terms of space. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the number of cubicles.

        논문 : 대학생의 전공계열을 고려한 대학도서관 공간계획 적용요소에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 대학도서관 주제자료실의 공간요소 중요도 평가를 통해 공간계획요소를 개발하여 대학생의 전공주제를 고려한 대학도서관의 디자인 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 대학이라는 특성상 대학도서관의 이용자들은 뚜렷한 전공주제를 가지고 있으며, 전공주제에 따라 학습양식에 차이가 있다. 따라서 각각의 학습양식에 적합한 학습환경이 필요하며 이는 이용자의 학습성과에 영향을 주기 때문에 학습양식 및 전공계열에 따라 공간요소에서 중요하게 여기는 항목들을 구분하여 차별화 된 자료실을 계획해야 한다. 공간요소 중요도 평가를 위해 대학생 총 143명의 설문응답을 사용하였다. 연구 결과 전공계열에 따라 공간요소 중요도 평가에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 전반적으로 이공계열의 학생들이 인문사회계열의 학생들보다 중요도 점수가 높았다. 특히 이공계열 학생들은 디자인 관련 요소에 대해 중요하게 여겼으며, 인문사회계열 학생들은 사회적 요소에 대해 중요하게 여겼다. 이러한 결과를 반영하여 현재 획일적으로 계획되어 있는 대학도서관 학습환경을 대학이라는 특성을 고려한 전공주제별 이용자의 관점에서 차별적인 공간계획이 이루어질 수 있도록 변화해야 할 것이다. 도출된 공간계획요소를 평가도구로 하여 향후 대학도서관의 공간평가와 이용태도조사를 통해 전공주제에 따른 차별적인 공간모델 계획의 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study rests on the development of spatial factors for subject reference libraries within academic libraries. The study will be based around the evaluation of data collected from 143 surveys carried out by students on a diverse range of undergraduate courses. The result of the study revealed meaningful distinctions in the evaluation of importance of spatial factors across majors and departments. As a general rule, students in the natural sciences valued their spatial factors more than students in the humanities or social sciences. The former group especially appreciated design factors, whereas the latter group focused on the social aspects of their studies and being able to communicate with other students. Universities should consider the outcome of these results and allow for the design and construction of study spaces, which are currently uniform, so that they may reflect the needs of each unique field of study.

        연복자 추출물의 Phenolic acids와 Flavonoids의 조성 및 화장품 항산화 활성

        이 연구는 연복자의 열수와 80% 메탄올 추출물에 대한 총 polyphenol과 flavonoid의 함량과phenolic acid와 flavonoid의 조성 및 함량을 분석하고, 이 추출물에 대한 일부 항산화 활성을 조사하므로 스킨케어 기능성 화장품으로의 활용 가능성을 확인하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 총 polyphenol과 flavonoid 함량은 열수와 80% 메탄올 추출물 모두에서 과피 추출물이 씨앗 추출물 보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. Phenolic acid는 열수 추출물에서 2종, 80% 메탄올 추출물에서 6종이 확인되었다. Flavonoids는 열수 추출물에서는 확인되지 않았으나, 80% 메탄올 추출물에서는 1종이 확인되었다. 또한 연복자의 열수와 80% 메탄올 추출물에 대한 항산화 활성을 조사한 결과, DPPH와 ABTS의 라디칼 소거능은 처리농도에 비례하여 증가하는 경향을 나타내어 항산화 활성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이와 같은 결과를 종합하여 보았을 때 연복자의 열수와 80% 메탄올 추출물은 항산화 활성을 나타내는 물질을 함유하고 있고, 항산화 활성이 확인되어 피부관리를 위한 기능성 화장품 성분원료 및 천연 항산화제로서의 가능성이 있을 것으로 사료되어진다. In order to verify the effect of using functional cosmetic ingredients for skin beauty, the composition and content of some phenolic acid and flavonoids in the hot water and 80% methanol extract of Akebia quinata fruit pericarp and seeds were analyzed, and the skin care antioxidant activity was investigated. The results are as follows. Total polyphenol and flavonoid contents were found to be higher in pericarp extract than seed extract in both hot water and 80% methanol extract. In the analysis of the composition and content of phenolic acid and flavonoids, two kinds of phenolic acids were identified in the hot water extract of pericarp, 6 kinds of phenolic acids were identified in the 80% methanol extract, and one kind of flavonoid. Two types of phenolic acids were identified in the hot water and 80% methanol extract of seeds, respectively. DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities tended to increase in proportion to the treatment concentration in both hot water and 80% methanol extracts, and antioxidant activity was found to be high. Therefore, from the above results, it was found that the hot water and 80% methanol extract of Akebia quinata fruit pericarp and seeds contained various kinds of phenolic acid and flavonoids, and the antioxidant activity was also high. It is believed to be of value as a natural antioxidant in skin care cosmetic ingredients.

        OSMU 영화의 태도와 관람의도에 대한 연구 -한국과 중국 차이를 중심으로

        OSMU(One-Source Multi-Use) 영화는 기존의 소설, 만화, 게임과 같은 문화 콘텐츠를 활용하여 제작하는 영화를 의미한다. 최근, OSMU 영화가 많이 제작되고 있으며, 흥행에 성공하는 사례 역시 점차 증가하고 있다. 하지만, 동일한 홍보 전략에도 불구하고 국가에 따라 흥행에 큰 차이를 보이기도 하는 등 국가의 특성에 따라 관람객의 선호에 차이가 발생하기도 한다. OSMU 영화를 관람하는관람객 측면에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족하며, 특히 OSMU 영화 관람 의도에 대한 국가 간 차이에 대한 연구는 전무한 실정이다. 본 논문은 관람객들이 OSMU 영화를 관람하기 전에 원작에 대한사전지식, 원작에 대한 감정과 홉스테드 문화차원 요인이 OSMU 영화에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향과, OSMU 영화에 대한 태도가 관람의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 중국과 한국 관람객의 차이를 비교하고, 국가 간 문화적 차이에 따른 관람의도의 차이를 분석하고자 한다. Many OSMU (One Source Multi Use) film contents are produced using contents frommany different areas such as novel, comics and others. Since OSMU films are mostly producedin English-speaking countries and distributed to the other countries, preference and reaction ofaudiences of these countries may differ according to their cultural and societal diversity or characteristics. Therefore, in this study, audiences’ attitude and watch intention to OSMU film areinvestigated, especially for audiences of Korea and China. To this ends, influence of previousknowledge and emotion on the audience’s attitude to OSMU films are exploited. In addition,influence of societal or cultural characteristics of Korea and China on the audience’s attitude arealso investigated. Finally, relation between attitude and watch intention of audiences are examined.

        Ischemic brain injury decreases dynamin-like protein 1 expression in a middle cerebral artery occlusion animal model and glutamate-exposed HT22 cells

        Dynamin-like protein I (DLP-1) is an important mitochondrial fission and fusion protein that is associated with apoptotic cell death in neurodegenerative diseases. In this study, we investigated DLP-1 expression in a focal cerebral ischemia animal model and glutamate-exposed hippocampal-derived cell line. Middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) was surgically induced in adult male rats to induce focal cerebral ischemic injury. Brain tissues were collected 24 hours after the onset of MCAO. MCAO induces an increase in infarct volume and histopathological changes in the cerebral cortex. We identified a decrease in DLP-1 in the cerebral cortices of MCAO-injured animals using a proteomic approach and Western blot analysis. Moreover, glutamate treatment significantly decreased DLP-1 expression in a hippocampalderived cell line. The decrease in DLP-1 indicates mitochondrial dysfunction. Thus, these results suggest that neuronal cell injury induces a decrease in DLP-1 levels and consequently leads to neuronal cell death.

        Evaluation of microbiological quality and safety of fresh-cut fruit products at retail levels in Korea

        The risk of foodborne illnesses caused bypathogens could be increased in fresh-cut fruit productsowing to contamination during processing. Therefore, thisstudy was conducted to investigate the microbiologicalquality and safety of commercial fresh-cut fruit products inKorea. Additionally, the growth of Listeria monocytogenesin selected fresh-cut fruits was evaluated, and their growthcurves were analyzed using predictive growth modeling. The mean count of total aerobic bacteria, coliforms, andyeast/mold was 3.67±1.73 log10 CFU/g, 1.54±1.01 log10CFU/g, and 3.81±1.51 log10 CFU/g, respectively. Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coliO157:H7, L. monocytogenes, Salmonella spp., and Cyclosporaspp. were not detected in any of the testedsamples. Only Bacillus cereus was detected in a few samplesat the mean level of 1.72±0.13 log10 CFU/g. Thegrowth of L. monocytogenes varied depending on the typeof fruit; they grew well in non-acidic fresh-cut fruit productsduring storage at 10 °C.

        대학도서관 자료실의 자료영역 및 열람영역 면적계획과 이용자 만족도 연구

        The subject specialization room will be able to support university library users who are inclined to use the general reading room. This study is the research of the area planning for university library"s subject specialization room. For the evaluation, 431 users from 15 university libraries in 14 universities located across Seoul were surveyed. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS. Frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, f-test were used. Results of the study are as follow. Subject specialization rooms in university libraries can be classified via the analysis of spatial characteristics. According to the area ratio of data space and reading space in a subject specialization room, the subject room can be separated into data-loaning and data-reading types. Old libraries are more likely to be data-loaning types, where reading room is small and there are a lot of bookshelves. The annual increase in library collections causes space for bookshelves to decrease. As a result, space for reading has been gradually transformed into space for stacking data. It is necessary to introduce ways to maintain enough space for both reading and stacking data. One way includes movable compact shelving, which can partially replace existing fixed shelves.
