중년기 애착과 결혼불만족 : 친밀감에 대한 두려움의 매개효과

본 연구는 중년기 부부의 불안정 애착이 결혼불만족에 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고, 두 변인 간의 관계에서 친밀감에 대한 두려움. 즉, FLS(Fear of Losing Self, 자신을 잃을지도 모른다는 두려움), FLO(Fear of Losing Others, 타인을 잃을지도 모른다는 두려움)의 역할을 확인하고자 하였다. 연구에서는 전국의 40∼64세 기혼 성인남녀 300여 명을 대상으로 불안정 애착, 친밀감에 대한 두려움, 결혼불만족을 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 불안정 애착, 결혼불만족, 친밀감에 대한 두려움은 상호 간의 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 애착회피와 결혼불만족 간의 관계에서 친밀감에 대한 두려움 중 FLO의 매개효과가 유의하였으며. 애착불안과 결혼불만족 간의 관계에서 총 효과와 직접 효과는 유의하지 않았고, 친밀감에 대한 두려움 중 FLO의 매개효과가 유의하였다. 종합적으로, 실제 중년기 부부 관계에서 애착 회피와 애착 불안이 높은 성인은 FLS가 아닌, FLO만을 매개해 결혼불만족에 이르는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to examine whether insecure attachment affects marital dissatisfaction in midlife couples and to examine the mediating effects of fear of intimacy, namely Fear of Losing Self (FLS) and Fear of Losing Others (FLO), in the relationship between the two variables. To do so, we administered an online self-report survey to more than 300 married men and women aged 40-64 across the country that included items measuring insecure attachment, fear of intimacy, and marital dissatisfaction. The data from 300 participants (150 men and 150 women) who responded to the survey in good faith were analyzed using SPSS Process macro 4.2, and the mediation model, model 4, was used to test the statistical significance of the relationship between insecure attachment and marital dissatisfaction using SPSS Process macro to test the mediation effect, not just the simple mediation effect of fear of intimacy. The results of the study are as follows. First, insecure attachment, marital dissatisfaction, and fear of intimacy were found to be significantly and positively related to each other. Second, FLO among fear of intimacy showed a mediation effect in the relationship between attachment avoidance and marital dissatisfaction. Third, the total and direct effects were not significant in the relationship between attachment anxiety and marital dissatisfaction, and FLO among fear of intimacy showed a mediation effect. The present study demonstrated that attachment avoidance and attachment anxiety may affect FLO in midlife couples, leading to marital dissatisfaction, and contributed to the understanding of insecure attachment, marital dissatisfaction, and fear of intimacy as intrapersonal variables. It also suggested that there is a need to explore counseling strategies that take into account changes in fear of intimacy in the role of insecure attachment in causing marital dissatisfaction in midlife couples. Therefore, this study is significant in that it suggests specific counseling interventions for marital dissatisfaction in middle-aged couples and provides basic information on prevention and psychotherapy for clients who have not yet visited a counseling office.

아방가르드 재즈 드러밍 연구 : 드러머 밥글로티의 랜덤시트를 동해

아방가르드 재즈 음악은 프리재즈와 실험적인 음악의 일원으로 관습적으로 사용되어왔던 화성과 박자, 구성과 편성에 이르기까지 기존 음악과 차별화된 시도를 통해 새로운 예술적 접근을 이루어 내는 음악이다. 아방가르드 재즈를 연주한다는 것은 악보로 표기된 음을 정확하게 표현하는 것, 일정한 간격과 밸런스(balance), 안정적인 소리를 만드는데 필요한 기계적이고 계산적인 연주의 반복 훈련에서 벗어나 마디와 음표의 개념이 사라지고 협화음과 불협화음, 때로는 터부시되거나 금지되는 모든 연주적 허용을 이루어 낸다는 것이다. 이것을 재즈에서 자유 즉흥연주라고 부르며, 연주자에게는 극한의 자유로움과 함께 다른 연주자와 함께 호흡하고 유기적으로 움직이면서도 자신만의 음악적 흐름을 즉석에서 만들어 내야 하는 어려움이 주어진다. 아방가르드 재즈 연주에서 드러머들이 봉착하는 첫 번째 문제 역시 이와 다르지 않다. 정확한 음표와 마디를 지켜내는 것은 드럼 연주자에게는 당연시되는 것으로 수년간 훈련된 박자 감각은 정확한 음의 길이가 주어지지 않고 마디를 벗어나는 파괴적 전개를 쉽게 용납하지 않는다. 또한 일정한 형태의 리듬을 반복적으로 구사하는 일이 많은 드럼 연주의 특성상 끊임없는 변화를 요구하는 아방가르드와 프리재즈에서도 연주 도중 일종의 패턴(pattern)을 만들려는 시도를 거듭하게 된다. 패턴을 만들고자 하는 시도 자체가 음악적으로 자제되어야 할 부분은 아닐지라도 연주가 일정한 형태나 양식처럼 반복된다면 혁신적이고 진보적인 가치를 우선시하는 아방가르드 음악에서 좋은 연주라 정의 내리기는 어려울 것이다. 따라서 자유 즉흥연주를 위해서는 기존에 시도되었던 방법과는 다른 새로운 연주 방법 또는 표현력을 증대시키기 위한 아이디어가 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 연주에 앞서 아방가르드 예술과 관련된 참고문헌과 유명 예술작품들을 통해 아방가르드의 정의와 기원을 알아보고, 아방가드르 재즈 음악의 예시를 들어 음악적 이해를 돕고자 하였다. 아방가르드 예술에 대한 전반적 이해를 통해 아방가드르 재즈 음악이 갖는 가치와 의미를 찾고 나아가 어떤 방식으로 연주에 다가갈 것인지 생각해 볼 수 있을 것이다. 연주에 있어서는 아방가르드 재즈 드러밍 접근을 돕기 위한 하나의 방법으로 드러머 밥 글로티(Bob Gullotti)의 랜덤시트(Random sheet)를 소개하고, 기본 연습법과 그 활용 방법에 관해 연구하였다. 랜덤시트는 전통적인 연주법에 익숙한 나머지 아방가르드, 프리재즈에 이르기까지 연주 형식의 변화에 어려움을 겪는 드럼 연주자들에게 표현법의 한계를 극복하고 다양한 연주의 즐거움을 느낄 수 있도록 테이블 오브 타임(Table of Time)에서 착안해 고안되었다. 1연음부터 12연음까지 불규칙적으로 늘어놓은 숫자들을 연주하며 다양한 연음을 자유롭게 구사하는 것에서 시작해 강약, 스틱킹의 변화 및 셋트 드럼 내에서의 다양한 변주를 통해 음악적 표현의 확대를 이끌어낼 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 많은 연주자들이 다양한 형태로 장르의 변화와 융합을 시도하고 있지만 아방가르드 재즈 음악에 대한 접근은 매우 부족한 실정이다. 본인은 아방가르드 재즈 음악가이자 드럼 연주자로서 본 논문이 아방가르드 재즈 음악에 대한 이해를 높이고, 드럼 연주자뿐 아니라 새로운 연습 방법에 관심을 갖는 연주자들에게 도움이 되었으면 하는 바람이다. Avant-Garde jazz music is one of the members Free-jazz and experimental music. The music is based on new artistic approaches and differentiated attempts: atonal harmony and sounds, departing systems and compositions, playing out of time or numerous changes of tempo. It includes anything that departs from standard patterns of music has been tried before. It needs breaking away from that seems to be stable sound, trying some challenging jobs, experimental attempts and initiative actions. You have to create your own musical flow organically and originality in the music. It would be not easy for some players of instruments including many drummers. Because musical performers have been practice over many years that keeping precise notes and bars, and it is not easy for them that accepting destructive music which are not given exact note lengths and bars. Generally, it is that playing standard music means you need to play accurately the notes written in the score, but playing to Avant-Garde and Free-jazz music need different approaches and new ideas. In this thesis, I worked to find what Avant-Garde means and when Avant-Gardism started, with references and famous works of art related with Avant-Garde in different kinds of fields. Examples of Avant-Garde jazz music and scores has been included to enhance content understanding the music. And there was introduced a random sheet to help approaching Avant-Garde jazz drumming. The random sheet was made by a drummer “Bob Gullotti”. He devised it using ‘Table of Time’ which is a number of traditional practice methods for drummers. In music, ‘Table of Time’ means that is enumerating 1 to 12 numbers of notes in a beat. And the random sheet is that is enumerating 1 to 12 numbers of random on a square board. That brings drummers to playing in freedom with out beats. This paper includes basic practice methods and you can make practical employ of what you taken. I hope this thesis helps musicians who have interest Avant-Garde jazz music. They will be able to find out value of Avant-Garde jazz music and how to approach the music as performers.
