The flexible pedestrian legform impactor(Flex-PLI) consisting of a flexible femur and tibia will be tested for pedestrian protection by global technical regulation(GTR) within the next couple of years as a replacement for the existing transport research laboratory(TRL) legform impactor. In this study, a computer aided engineering(CAE) model was used to perform the effect analysis of each injury with regard to the changes in tolerance factors with the baseline results without tolerance. The tolerance factors were the height of impactor from ground reference line, initial velocity of impactor and rotation of impactor.

EuroNAP and KNCAP plan to apply MPDB test from 2020 and 2024 respectively. MPDB test that is a kind of car to car simulation test is a vehicle and MDB collision test with 50% offset and 50kph speed. MPDB performance is evaluated in the vehicle and the moving barrier standpoint. The vehicle deformation and the occupant injury value are major measurements of the vehicle standpoint. In case of the moving barrier standpoint, MDB’s OLC and its deformation are key factors. MPDB performance for Monocoque body has been much studied so far but study of frame body is poor. In this paper, the guideline for MPDB performance improvement of frame body is proposed through CAE concept study with a current production vehicle.

MPDB test is going to be applied to EuroNAP and KNCAP from 2020 and 2022 respectively. MPDB test is a front car to car type test that vehicle and MDB collide each other with 50% offset and 50kph speed. MPDB performance is assessed with vehicle deformation and occupant injury value in vehicle standpoint and with MDB’s OLC and its deformation in moving barrier standpoint. By the way, the study on the factors to influence on the MPDB collision performance is very rare. Therefore, in this study, key factors to influence on MPDB collision performance are selected and then their contribution is analyzed.

Most of countries have their own regulations and New Car Assessment Programs (NCAP) for the evaluation of vehicle crash performance. Until recently, they are considered a driver and a passenger on the 1st row by a majority of the adult occupant performance. But occupants in the rear seat have not been considered in most consumer metric tests. So the 2nd row seat belt as a restraint system was not developed to have a good protection performance of a rear seat occupant even though it considered restricting child seat movement as well as passenger. From the start of China, a rear occupant evaluation has been introduced in Europe as a part of the EuroNCAP with the bigger portion of the total assessment. Occupant protection performance in the rear seat needs to be evaluated in order to perform well in this newly introduced market requirement. To see the trend of kinematic and injury of Hybrid III 5th percentile female (H305) dummy, a series of sled CAEs were conducted following the new EuroNCAP protocol for a 50 km/h full width rigid barrier test. In this paper, the pretensioner effect and single load-limiter effect are analyzed.
전남동부연안권 및 섬진강유역권의 지질관광 (Geotourism) 가능성 고찰

전남동부연안권 및 섬진강유역권의 생태환경을 중심으로, 2차년도 동안 섬진강 본류와 지류가 관류하는 10개 시군을 대상으로 지질관광(Geotourism)의 가능성을 고찰하였다. 1차년도(2008년 7월 ~ 2009년 6월)에는 고흥, 순천, 구례, 여수 등 총 5개 지역에 걸쳐 현장조사를 실시하였고, 2차년도(2009년 7월 ~ 2010년 6월)에는 남원, 곡성, 광양, 하동, 남해에 이르기까지 12개월에 걸쳐 조사 하였다. 조사가 미진한 지역에 대해서는 2개월 동안 보완조사를 실시하였다. 그리고 해남 등 4개 공룡화석지도 지오사이트 가능성을 추가하였다. 지질관광이 이루어지기 위해서는 전남동부연안권 및 섬진강유역권에 대한 풍부한 지질학적 자료와 타 지역과의 연계성, 그리고 타 분야와의 연계성 등 많은 자료와 연구가 뒷받침 되어야 한다. 이러한 조사 결과를 토대로, 각각의 지오사이트의 지질유산 및 문화재를 선정하여 지질관광으로의 가능성을 고찰해보고, 역사문화지도와의 연계성을 확보하여 관광객이하 전 국민들이 보다 쉽고 편리하게 지질관광을 이용할 수 있도록 조성할 것이다. Validities of Geotourism to ten cities and counties which main and branched streams of Seomjin River run were considered for the ecosystematic scope to the areas around eastern Jeonnam coast and the river during twelve months. In first year, field surveys for 5 areas of Goheung, Suncheon, Gurye and Yeosu were carried out, and, next year, the surveys for another 5 areas of Namweon, Gokseong, Gwangyang, Hadong and Namhae were performed. And, 4 dinosaur fossil sites including Haenam area were considered in the the aspect of Geotourism. For areas necessary to added surveys, two month surveys were carried out. For appropriate Geotourism, it should be prepared a lot of data and studies including the geology of above areas and interrelationships to other areas. From above results, It should organizes that most people, easily, come into close and use those geological and cultural sites as useful Geosites, on the basis of the consideration on Geotourism and interrelationship with historical and cultural map.

MPDB performance is evaluated in the vehicle and the moving barrier standpoint. The vehicle deformation and the occupant injury value are major measurements of the vehicle standpoint. In case of the moving barrier standpoint, MDBs OLC and its deformation are key factors. Research on the performance of KNCAP MPDB on the frame body is very insufficient. In addition, the recent test speed has become harsher as it is scheduled to change from 50 kph to 56 kph. In this paper, the guideline for KNCAP MPDB performance improvement of frame body is proposed through CAE concept study with a current production vehicle.
