        성취목표 지향성과 학교 밖 교육이 학업태도를 매개로 중학생의 자기주도적 학습능력에 미치는 영향: 대도시 저소득층 학생을 대상으로

        The purpose of this study is to examine middle school students' characteristics which influence the self directed learning ability. Based on the learning psychology theory, we analysed how learners's characteristics would affect the self directed learning ability in middle school. Participants of this study consist of 1,600 middle school students of low income families in the major urban cities, Korea. Through structural equation modeling(SEM), we examined how achievement goal orientation, Exterior school education activities, and school learning attitude would influence learner's self directed learning ability. The results showed achievement goal orientation via school learning attitude influenced learner's self directed learning ability in male and female students wheres these variables appeared to be not influenced by exterior school education. This result imply exterior school education need to be considered further restructuring. Through latent mean analysis(LMA), gender differences were examined. Male students appeared to have higher levels of achievement goal orientation, school learning attitude, and self directed learning ability than female students. The result imply we need to consider the gender difference intensively to guide middle school low income students for facilitating self directed learning ability. Female students with lower levels of achievement goal orientation and school learning attitude, and with lower levels of self directed learning ability need to have a initiative of learning.

        Characterization of changes of pain behavior and signal transduction system in food-deprived mice

        Fasting in general causes several metabolic changes. In the present study, we examined the possible changes of several types of nociception during the food deprivation were investigated in mice. After the mice were forced into the fasting for 12, 24, or 48 h, the changes of nociception were measured by the tail-flick, writhing, formalin or von-frey tests. We found that the nociceptive behavior induced by intraperitoneally (i.p.) administered acetic acid (writhing response) or intraplantar injection of 5% formalin into the hind-paw were reduced in fasted group. In addition, the tail-flick response and threshold for nociception in mechanical von-frey test were also elevated in fasted group. Moreover, the p-CREB and p-ERK levels in the dorsal root ganglia (DRG) and the spinal cord were reduced in food-deprived group. Furthermore, p-AMPKα1 expressions in DRG and the spinal cord were up-regulated, whereas p-mTOR in DRG and the spinal cord was down-regulated in food-deprived group. Our results suggest that the chemical, mechanical, and thermal nociceptions appear to be reduced in a food-deprived mouse group. Additionally, reduction of nociception in food-deprived group appears to be closely associated with the expressions of several signal transduction molecules such as ERK, CREB, AMPKα1 and mTOR proteins in DRG and the spinal cord.

        대학생들의 스마트 리터러시와 스마트폰 중독의 종단관계연구

        We examined the longitudinal reciprocal relationship between smart-literacy andsmart-phone addiction. Three waves of panel data for the university students wereemployed for this research. A total of 269 university students in Gangwon province,South Korea responded to the same survey on March 2013, and June 2013, October2013. Autoregressive cross-lagged modeling was performed to analyze the causalpredominance between smart-literacy and smart-phone addiction. Over the 9-months period, stability coefficient of smart-literacy and smart-phoneaddiction showed that both variables were significantly stable. Smart-literacy hadstatistically significant effects on smart-phone addiction, and smart-literacy predictedsmart-phone addiction at a statistically significant level. But, smart-phone addictiondidn't show a positive relationship on being causally predominant over smart-literacy. These findings suggest that smart-literacy over smart-phone addiction has reciprocalcausality overtime, and that offering more smart learning opportunities based the goalfor improving smart-literacy is important for the university students.

        초등학교에서의 경제적 사고력 증진을 위한 스토리텔링 기반 경제 수업 모형 개발 연구

        The purpose of this study is to propose an Storytelling-Based Learning Model for economy instruction and examine the practical usability of the model in elementary school. The model was developed based on the following stages. At the beginning stage, this study reviewed existing researches on storytelling-based economy learning and then design the alpha protypes of model using rapid prototyping methodology. Questionnaires were used for 74elementary school teachers to collect data to establish basic principles which facilitates the practical usability of the model. Through the extensive literature reviews and survey study, a basic storytelling-based learning model was developed. The model consists of three stages:context-adapted story construction, concept-centered story construction, life-oriented story construction. Each stage has several sub-stages:an exploratory story planning, an unstructured story completion, theme-based story elaboration for contextadapted story construction stage;learning-oriented story analysis, structured story construction,collecting and discriminating the story-related information for concept-centered story construction stage;setting the context, setting the main events, setting the character, setting the plot,externalization and reflection for life-oriented story construction stage. The study evaluated the model using quantitative and qualitative research method to test the validity and the usability in terms of its effectiveness and also reveals some limitations. The limitations and related suggestions were discussed. 이 연구는 초등학교 경제 수업에서 경제적 사고력 증진을 위해 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 스토리텔링 기반 학습 모형을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 스토리텔링 기반 경제학습의 제반 이론을 탐색하여 모형의 기본 틀을 구안하였으며, 초등학교 교사들을 대상으로 기초 설문조사를 실시하였다. 구안된모형의 틀과 기초 설문조사의 결과를 바탕으로 스토리텔링 기반의 경제 수업 모형을 개발하였으며, 이렇게 만들어진 초기 모형은 속성원형법에 따라 수업 적용을 통하여 문제점을 분석하고, 이를 반영하여 최종적인 모형으로 완성되었다. 마지막으로 모형의 타당화를 위해 완성된 모형을 실제 수업에 투입하고 그효과와 타당성을 검토하였다. 모형은 탐색 지향적 스토리 구성의 단계, 비구조적 스토리 완성의 단계, 스토리의 주제 중심 정교화 단계, 학습 지향적 스토리 구성의 단계, 구조적 스토리 구성의 단계, 스토리 관련 정보 수집과 판별의 단계, 환경 설정의 단계, 주요 사건 설정의 단계, 캐릭터 설정의 단계, 플롯 설정의 단계, 표현 및 성찰의 단계로 구성된다. 모형이 적용된 수업에 대한 양적, 질적 검증 결과, 내용 이해와 경제적 사고력, 경제적 생활 습관에 미치는 효과를 확인할 수 있었으며, 제언을 통해 경제적 사고력증진을 위한 모형의 활용 전략을 제안하였다.

        비교과 교육을 통한 융합적 사고력 증진 방안 연구: 대학생의 다문화 수용성, 인문학적 소양을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to explore the factors causing freshmen's convergence thinking skill. We assumed that freshmen's extracurricular activities would affect their convergence thinking skill. Using structural equation modeling, the influences of extracurricular activities on convergence thinking skill were examined indirectly as well as directly, with and without liberal arts knowledge, multicultural acceptability as a mediate factor. The results show that the indirect effects were proven to be stronger compared with the direct effects. The extracurricular activities appeared to encourage better improvement of liberal arts knowledge and multicultural acceptability whereas not to influence the convergence thinking skill improvement. And freshmen's extracurricular activities are proved to affect their convergence thinking skill via liberal arts knowledge, multicultural acceptability as a mediate factor. The direct effects of extracurricular activities on convergence thinking skill were even more stronger especially with those who had higher levels of liberal arts knowledge than multicultural acceptability.

        지속성 외래 복막 투석 환자에서 C반응단백과 관상동맥 질환과 사망률

        Background: Atherosclerotic vascular disease is major cause of morbidity and mortality in dialysis patients. C-reactive protein(CRP) as a marker of inflammation appears to be clinically useful in prediction of coronary heart disease and mortality. This study is designed to test whether plasma concentration of CRP correlates with coronary heart disease and mortality in CAPD patients. Methods: A total of l37 end-stage-renal disease patients undergoing CAPD were included. The measurement of baseline CRP and stress thallium SPECT were performed in all patients. Patients were followed prospectively from initiation of dialysis to June 1999 for analysis of survival rate and cause of death. Coronary angiography performed in 16 of 32 patients showed all positive results. Results: 32 patients showed positive results in thallium SPECT. The baseline CRP concentration were higher among patients with positive results in thallium SPECT than those with negative results(1.05g/L vs 1.30mg/dL, p$lt;0.001). The survival rate was significantly lower in lower CRP group than higher CRP group (44months vs 26 months, p$lt;0.001). However, There was no difference in cause of death according to serum CRP level. Death from cardiac cause is significantly higher among patients with positive thallium SPECT than negative results. The most common cause of death are, in descending order of frequency, cardiac disease including acute MI, sepsis, cerebrovascular disease. Conclusion: The baseline level of inflammation as assessed by the plasma concentration of CRP independently predicts the risk of coronary heart disease and survival in CAPD patients.
