        Aluminum Borate 화합물에 있어서 EU2+이온의 발광성

        The compounds, CaAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O, SrAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O and BaAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O, are good host lattices for highly efficient $Eu^{2+}$ luminescence. The europium emission peaks at 450 nm in $Eu^{2+}$:CaAl$_2$(B0$_3$)$_2$O, 411 nm in $Eu^{2+}$: SrAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O and 375 nm in $Eu^{2+}$: BaAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O. The $Eu^{2+}$: CaAl$_2$(BO$_3$)$_2$O Phosphor shows a high output and should be a good maintenance in VUV Xe lamps. It is ideally suited for use in PDP phosphors. The $Eu^{2+}$ ion is interesting because the Stokes shift emission is a strong host dependent. The difference in the Stokes shift is oneimportant factor leadingto a difference in wavelength. If the 5d level of $Eu^{2+}$ ion is lower in energy,according to a decrease in the doping lattice size, then the emission wavelength will be longer and the Stokes shift will be smaller. Therefore, a knowledge of the relationship between the crystal lattice size and the Stokes shift. (orthe energy of the 5d level),is essential for beingable to predict $Eu^{2+}$ emission properties. 알루미늄 보레이트 화합물, $CaAl_2(BO_3)_2O$와 $BaAl_2(BO_3)_2O$은 매우 효과적으로 $Eu^{2+}$ 이온의 형광성을 나타내는 발광격자를 가지고 있다. 발광피크는 $Eu^{2+}$:$CaAl_2(BO_3)_2O$화합물에 있어서 450㎚이고 $Eu^{2+}$:$SrAl_2(BO_3)_2O$화합물에 있어서411㎚이며 $Eu^{2+}$:$BaAl_2(BO_3)_2O$ 화합물에 있어서 375㎚이다. 그러므로 $Eu^{2+}$:$CaAl_2(BO_3)_2O$ 화합물은 파란색을 내는 좋은 형광체이며, 특별히, 진공자외선 제논 플라마스 램프에 있어서 우수한 형광물질로 기대된다. $Eu^{2+}$ 이온은 PDP 형광체로써 관심이 높으며, Stokes shift는 형광물질의 도핑격자 크기에 의해서 결정이 된다. Stokes shift는 발광 파장을 결정하는 하나의 중요한 요소이다. 만일, 도핑격자의 크기가작아짐에 따라 $Eu^{2+}$ 이온의 5d 에너지 준위가 낮아지면, 발광 파장은 길어지고 Stokes shift크기는 커진다. 그러므로 결정격자의 크기를 측정하면 $Eu^{2+}$ 이온의 Stokes shift와 5d 에너지 준위 등의 발광성질을 예측할 수 있다.

        Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma is a rare vascular tumor of borderline malignancy which is characterized by the presence of "epithelioid" or "histiocytoid" endothelial cells. Superficial and deep tumors have been recognized in the extremities, head, neck, chest, and mediastinum of adult patients. It may also occur as a primary tumor of liver, bone, and other visceral organs. Few effusion cytologic findings of epithelioid hemangioendothelioma have been reported. We report a case of composite epithelioid hemangioendothelioma with focal epithelioid angiosarcomatous areas of the iliac bone and adjacent soft tissue in a 38-year-old female, which, during its metastatic course, was presented as a pleural effusion. The effusion was cellular with epithelioid cells presenting both singly and in clusters. The tumor cells were round to ovoid shewing cytoplasmic vacuolization, variability in cell size, and prominent nucleoli. The effusion smears and cell block sections revealed strong positive staining for CD31 and vimentin, weak positive for CD34 and Factor VIII-related antigen, and negative for cytokeratin, CEA, and calretinin. The cytologic findings in this case were similar to that of metastatic adenocarcinoma or malignant mesothelioma. Therefore, immunocytochemical staining in smear and cell block is a helpful tool to differentiate malignant 'epithelioid' cells in effusion.

        기업 합병·인수 과정에서 발생하는 범죄에 대한 수사

        Mergers and acquisitions (abbreviated M&A) are both an aspect of corporate strategy, corporate finance and management dealing with the buying, selling, dividing and combining of different companies and similar entities that can help an enterprise grow rapidly in its sector or location of origin, or a new field or new location, without creating a subsidiary, other child entity or using a joint venture. Terms of M&A in Republic of Korea law are Restriction on Combination of Enterprises in ‘Monopoly regulations and fair trade law’ or Written Agreement of Merger, Written Agreement of Consolidation and Division and Merger through Division of Company in Commercial Act. M&A cause positive effects on the corporate development, increase the corporate´s competitiveness, expand into new fields and more. However, M&A also cause negative effects, such as deepen monopoly structure and expend speculation tendency. This study explored the concept and form of the M&A in Republic of Korea society and the occurrent crime during the M&A. This study suggest improvement plan on Investigation based on these crimes caused by the M&A.

        췌장의 거대낭성 장액낭샘종 -2예 보고-

        The macrocystic form of serous cystadenoma of the pancreas is an uncommon benign neoplasm composed of few, relatively large cysts that are lined by uniform, glycogen-rich, cuboidal epithelial cells. We report here on two cases of pathologically proven macrocystic serous cystadenoma of the pancreas in a 45-year-old female patient and a 53-year-old female patient. Both these cysts were lined by low cuboidal epithelia without any evidence of mucin production. There was also no evidence of pancreatitis. These tumors were radiologically suspected as being mucinous cystic neoplasm or pseudocysts. Although the microscopic and immunohistochemical studies of the macrocystic variant are not different from the conventional serous microcystic cystadenoma, their unusual macroscopic features can lead to confusion for the clinicians and radiologists.

        화합물, SrAl₂(BO₃)₂O는 매우 효과적으로 열적 수축성을 나타내는 격자를 가지고 있다. 우리는 세라믹 시험편의 열팽창 계수측정법과 X-선 회절 분광법을 이용하여 제한된 온도 범위에서 열적 수축을 각각 측정하였다. 알루미늄 보레이트 화합물에 있어서, 열적 수축성은 23∼215℃ 온도 범위에서 c 축에 대한 열팽창 계수 -1.64×10/sup -4/ Å/℃를 보였으며, 20㎜ 세라믹 시험편에 대한 길이의 변화측정 결과는 110∼170℃ 온도 범위에서 최대 -1.75㎛까지 수축하였다. The compound SrA1₂(BO₃)₂O is a good host lattice for negative thermal expansion. We have measured thermal expansion over the limited temperature range by X-ray diffraction and ceramic dilatometry. In the aluminum borate compound, a thermal contraction is observed with a coefficient -1.64×10/sup -4/ Å/℃ on the c axis in the temperature range 23∼215℃ and with a maximum change -1.75㎛ in length of a ceramic bar of 20㎜ in the temperature range 110∼170℃, respectively.

        $PbZrO_3$ 나노튜브의 졸-겔 형판 합성과 상전이

        We report the phase transition temperatures of the $PbZrO_3$ perovskite nanotubes made by sol-gel template synthesis. The lead zirconate($PbZrO{_3}$) nanotubes were prepared with a chelate sol-gel of zirconium tetrabutoxide($Zr(OBu){_4}$) and leadacetate($Pb(OAc){_2}-3H_2O$). $Whatman^(r)$ anodisc membranes, with a 200nm pore size, served as the template. After removing the template in the 6M-NaOH solution, the $PbZrO{_3}$ nanotubes so far have shown an anomalous transition temperature, $123.6^{\circ}C$ as measured by DSC with a small particle size, 15.4nm determined by X-ray analysis with the aid of Scherrer's equation.
