지능검사 평가치의 상호비교 : Wechsler, K-ABC, Raven 지능검사를 중심으로 Wechsler, K-ABC, and Raven

The purpose of this study is to compare the results of three tools, the Wechsler, the K-ABC, and Raven, in generating intelligence quotient (IQ) scores. A population of 52 children, ages 48 to 131 months, was evaluated three times, using each of the tools one time. The assessment values were analyzed according to total score, sub-category scores, and Pearson correlations. The Wechsler consists of two sub-categories; verbal and performance; the K-ABC consists of three sub-categories: sequential, simultaneous, and achievement, with a cumulative score for cognitive; and the Raven has no sub-category. The K-ABC produced a slightly higher than the others. The correlation between the Wechsler score and the K-ABC score was statistically significant. The Raven score could not be significantly correlated to the Wechsler score; however, the Raven score significantly correlated with the K-ABC sub-categories of simultaneous and achievement. These results indicate that each intelligence test evaluates different cognitive areas.

치료적 미술교육이 자폐아동의 인지기능 향상에 미치는 효과

This study was focused to develop the autistic child's gestalt cognitive abilities through the therapeutic art education. For developing the cognitive functions, total 54 sessions was consisted of using the various art mediums according to the cognitive level of the client, which was suggested by the Anderson et al. This program had strong point to experience the various perception, to underline the child's modeling and to offer the relaxation during the art work. The effect examined by the comparison of the pre/post-test on the BGT and K-Raven, and the degree of completion at art work. There was increasing on the performance of the BGT score, which means the error score reduced by 13. Second, the child finished the K-Raven test and showed 8% performance level even this test was impossible due to the short of attention capacity at first. Third, the level of gestalt perception and form drawing was increased effectively. These results suggested the therapeutic art education program was effective to develop the autistic child's perceptual-cognitive capacities. 이 연구는 미술치료교육을 통하여 자폐아동의 형태인지능력을 향상시키기 위한 목적으로 시행되었다. 인지능력을 향상시키기 위하여 Anderson등이 제안한 기본 프로그램에 따라 아동 수준에 적합한 미술매체를 선택하여 총 54회기를 실시하였다. 이 프로그램의 주안점은 긴장이완과 형태인식력의 향상시키기 위하여 다양한 지각경험을 제공하고 모방을 강조하는 것이다. 사전/사후 비교는 BGT, K-Raven, 그리고 미술작품의 형태완성도를 평가하였다. 그 결과, 첫째 BGT 수행력이 사전왜곡 점수 22점에서 사후 9점으로 향상되었다. 둘째 사전에는 K-Raven 수행이 불가능하였으나, 약 20분 정도 소요되는 K-Raven 수행을 완성하여 8% 지능수준을 보였다. 셋째 그림을 통한 형태인지능력의 변화가 비교적 명확하게 나타났다. 이런 결과들은 자폐아동의 형태 인지 능력을 향상시키기 위한 방안으로 치료적 미술교육기법이 효율적임을 시사하는 것이다.

모와 부의 양육유형과 자녀지능간의 연관성 -유아를 중심으로-

This study examined the relationship between the subscale scores of father and mother's parenting attitudes and the scores from the Raven Children non-verbal intelligence test. Subjects were the kindergartners and their parents who attend kindergartens in Seoul. Raven test were tested to the children by their teacher. Parenting attitude tests were delivered to the each parent through their child and gathered each after responding the questions. Results were followings; the intelligence of the 4 years old was affected by the mother's punishment, the supportive expression, and the interference among parenting attitude test and father's over expectation. In the case of 5 years old, mother's interference and supportive expression were correlated to the child's intelligence. The intelligence of 6 years old was affected by mother's over expectation and the age of mother and father. There is no strong evidence that 6 years of age is influenced by their parenting attitude than 4 and 5 years of age children. Age variables need to be examined in the future using the other intelligence test. It was also found that the subscales of parenting attitude made impact differently and the age of parents gave negative effect to the intelligence of the children.

한국판 Raven 비언어성 지능검사에 관한 표준화 연구

본 연구는 Raven 비언어성 지능검사 중에 유·아동용으로 개발된 CPM 을 한국 아동을 대상으로 표준화하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 3세에서 10세까지 아동 2,049명을 전국에 있는 어린이집, 유치원, 초등학교에서 선정하였다. 표본 점수는 6개월 단위로 백분위를 산출하였다. 백분위 점수 결과는 미국과 영국에 비해 백분위 점수 10-20 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 대만의 결과와는 비슷한 것으로 나타났다. CPM 문항에 대한 정답비율을 아동의 인지수준과 비교해서 논의하였다. 한 달 간격으로 검사-재검사 신뢰도 값은 0.74를 얻었고, 내적 일치성 신뢰도 Chronbach 알파는 0.83으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 CPM이 한국 유아동의 지적능력 수준을 평가하는데 활용될 수 있음을 보여주는 것이다. This study was established to standardize the CPM(Coloured Progressive Matrices) of Raven Progressive Matrices series for Korean children. The sample of 2,049 children between the age of three and ten years was selected in the nursery home, the kindergarten and the primary school. The standard score was obtained as percentile scores in terms of 6 months. The result of percentile scores was higher than American and England children about 10-20 percentiles, but was similar to Taiwan children. The ratio of correct response for each CPM item was discussed on relating to the cognitive level. Test-retest reliability for the CPM was 0.74 which was gathered to a subsample at one month interval. Internal consistency reliability Cronbach's alpha was 0.83. These results suggested that the CPM test, in some respect, could be applied to evaluate the intellectual ability for Korean children.

유아의 사고능력에 대한 부모 양육태도의 영향

본 연구는 영재성의 기초인 유아의 사고능력이 연령 별로 모의 양육태도와 어떤 연관이 있는 가를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 S시에 소재한 유치원에 등원하는 4~6세 유아 401명과 어머니를 대상으로 하였다. 측정도구로는 영재성 평가검사로 활용되는 레이븐 검사 시리즈에서 가장 난이도가 낮은 유아의 사고능력을 알아볼 수 있는 레이븐 CPM 검사와 부모의 양육태도에 관한 질문지를 사용하였다. 부모양육태도 검사는 지지표현, 합리적 설명, 성취압력, 간섭, 처벌, 감독, 과잉기대, 비일관성 등 8개 하위 영역으로 구성 되어 있다. 연구결과는 먼저 부모의 양육태도는 연령대에 따라 다르게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 4세 유아는 합리적 설명, 성취압력, 처벌, 감독 요인이 문제해결능력에 영향을 미치고 있음이 밝혀졌고, 5세는 지지표현과 감독이 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 그리고 6세는 지지표현, 합리적 설명, 처벌, 과잉기대가 사고력 문제 해결에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 양육태도 영역별 정적 혹은 부적 효과를 논의하였다. 이 결과는 부모가 자녀의 연령에 따라 양육태도를 변화시켜 대응하는 것이 사고력 발달에 효과적이 될 수 있음을 시사하는 것이다. This study focused on understanding the relationship between the children's thinking ability which is based on the genius and the parenting attitude according to their level of age. There were 401subjects including mothers and their children who lived in Seoul city ages from four to six. The Raven CPM testing method for children and the parenting attitude test were used as research tools. Subcategories of the parenting attitude test consisted of the supportive expression, the rational explanation, the achievement press, high involvement, punishment, superintendence, high expectation, and inconsequence. Results showed that by age four children's thinking abilities were affected by the rational explanation, the achievement press, punishment, and superintendence. At age five, the supportive expression and superintendence were important factors to the thinking ability. By age six children were affected by the supportive expression, the rational explanation, punishment and high expectation. It was also discussed the positive or negative effects of the parenting attitude sub- scales to the development of the thinking ability. These results showed the parenting attitudes need to be changed according to the child's age for getting more resonable results to their children's thinking ability.
