        외상으로 인한 상악 견치의 이소성 맹출에 대한 치험례

        Trauma to the dento-alveolar complex can cause various problems. Some of the immediate problems are fracture, luxation and avulsion of teeth. Later complications of trauma include loss of vitality, pathologic root resorption, periapical infection, impaction and ectopic eruption. Ectopic eruption is a term which may indicate an abnormality of direction during tooth eruption of final tooth position. These case reports described the ectopic maxillary canine in which trauma, at early age, was the primary etiological factor. In case 1, the traumatic injury was occurred in primary anterior dentition, and in case 2, it occurred in early mixed dentition.

        Performance evaluation of two-stage turbine for the organic rankine cycle system

        An experimental performance test was conducted to evaluate the performance of 200 kW ORC (Organic rankine cycle) turbine. To satisfy the expansion ratio, a two-stage turbine was designed. The turbine rotors were positioned as back to back to compensate the thrust force, and the target speed was designed as 15000 rpm. The working fluid was R-245fa organic fluid, and a set of ball bearing was adopted. To guarantee the stable operation of the ORC turbine at the design speed, several procedures were conducted. This paper introduces the procedures carried out before the main test to satisfy the design speed operation. Rotor dynamic analysis, rotor balancing, spin test, and ball bearing stabilization were performed to ensure stable ORC turbine operation. In addition, the ball bearing grease for the high-temperature operation condition was adopted, and the bearing cooling device was also installed. During the test, vibration level and bearing temperature were monitored in real time. The ORC turbine loop was constructed to evaluate the performance of the ORC turbine. With the progress for stable operation, the developed ORC turbine could maintain its stability and get the target performance at the loop test. These introduced procedures could be used as reference to develop a modified ORC turbine.

        MC-CDMA 기반 통신 시스템을 위한 주파수 영역 스크램블링 부호 할당

        일반적으로 MC-CDMA 시스템에서 동일한 부반송파 집합이 할당된 서로 다른 단말기에게 스크램블링 부호를 할당할 때에는 해당 셀에 주어진 스크램블링 부호 집합 중에서 서로 다른 스크램블링 부호를 임의로 선택하여 할당한다. 주파수 영역 스크램블링 부호로서 직교 부호가 사용되는 경우, 타이밍 및 주파수 동기가 완벽하고 채널특성이 편평하다면 스크램블링 부호간의 직교성으로 인하여 스크램블링 부호의 선택에 따라 수신 성능이 영향을 받지 않지만, 실제 동작 환경에서는 스크램블링 부호간 직교성이 깨져서 부호간 간섭이 발생하는 경우가 많이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 타이밍 오차가 존재하는 경우에 대해 MC-CDMA에서의 주파수 영역 직교 스크램블링 부호의 최적 할당순서를 도출한다. In typical MC-CDMA systems, different frequency-domain scrambling codes are randomly chosen from a given code set and then assigned to different subscriber stations using the same subcarrier set. When orthogonal codes are employed for the frequency-domain scrambling, the choice of the scrambling code does not affect the detection performance if the timing and frequency synchronizations are perfect and the channel characteristic is flat. However, in practical cases, inter-code interference often appears due to the broken code orthogonality. In this paper, the optimal order of allocating the orthogonal frequency-domain scrambling codes to new subscriber stations is derived under non-negligible timing offsets in MC-CDMA system.

        A Simple Scheme for Jitter Reduction in Phase-Differential Carrier Frequency Recovery Loop

        A very simple and efficient scheme for jitter reduction is proposed for a carrier frequency recovery loop using phase differential frequency estimation, which estimates the current frequency offset based on the difference of the average phases of two successive intervals. Analytical and numerical results presented in this paper show that by simply overlapping the observation intervals by half for frequency offset estimations, both the steady-state and transient performances can be improved. The proposed scheme does not require any additional hardware circuitry, but results in improved performance even with reduced complexity.

        인체 무릎관절 윤활포식세포 cluster designation 표지에 관한 면역전자현미경적 연구

        사람 무릎관절 윤활막을 구성하는 윤활세포 중 윤활포식세포(phagocytic synovial cell, type A cell)의 기원에 대한 논의는 형태적으로 큰포식세포의 모습을 하고 있는 단핵포식체 계 (mononuclear phagocyte system)의 한 일부로서 아마도 골수(bone marrow)에서 기원되어졌을 것이라고 알려져 있다. 기능적으로도 LCA, HLA-DR과 Ia 항원에 양성반응을 보여 큰포식세포의 일부로 알려졌으나 아직 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 CD14와 활성화된 큰포식세포의 표지물로 알려진 CD105(endoglin)를 이용하여 윤활포식세포의 세포 내 발현부위를 규명하고, 기능적으로 활성화된 큰포식세포와 포식작용의 역할을 수행하는지 여부를 확인하기 위해 사람의 무릎관절에서 윤활세포들을 냉동초미세박절법을 이용한 면역조직화학 기법으로 CD14와 CB105에 대한 금표지를 하여 투과전자현미경으로 관찰한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. CD14는 윤활포식세포의 과립세포질세망과 세포질및 가장자리, 공포 주변 부위에서 표지 되었으며 공포내에서는 표지 되지 많았다. 2. CD105(endoglin)는 윤활포식세포의 세포막 가장자리와 세포질 돌기를 따라 표지 되었으며 공포 주변 부위에서도 표지 되었으나, 공포 내에서는 표지 되지 많았다. 이상의 결과로 보아 사람 무릎관절 윤활세포층에 위치하는 윤활포식세포는 CD14와 CD105의 항원에 대한 표지를 보이므로 활성화된 큰포식세포나 포식작용의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 생각된다. This study was designed to observe the ultrastructural localization of synoviocytes, which are concerned with the function of phagocytic synovial cells (type A synoviocytes, macrophage-like synoviocytes), in the knee joint of the human for CD14 and CD105 by cryo-immune-electron microscopic technique. The synovium were dissected and fixed for two hours (in 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.1% glutaraldehyde mixture), and were immerged in 2.3 M sucrose and 20% PVP solution. Finally, they were cut with the cryoultramicrotome and labelled with primary antibodies (monoclonal mouse anti-human CD14, monoclonal mouse anti-human CD105 (endoglin) and secondary (donkey anti-mouse IgG) tagged with 6 nm colloidal gold particles. The tissues were observed under transmission electron microscope. This study was resulted as follows. 1. In the synovium of the human knee joint, CD14+ cells were identified. These cells showed phagocytic synovial cell's features. In the phagocytic synoviocyte, the distributions of CD14 were marked in the cytoplasm, around vacuoles, and in cytoplasmic process, but not detected inside of vacuoles. 2. In the synovium of the human knee joint, CD105+ cells were identified. These cells were recognized endothelial cells and phagocytic synovial cells. In the phagocytic synovial cells, the distributions of CD105 (endoglin) were marked in cytoplasic process, around vacuoles, and in cell membrane, but not detected inside of vacuoles. On the basis of above findings, it is obvious that phagocytic synovial cells were marked at CD 14 and CD 105, and might be play the role of activated macrophages or phagocytes in the synovial membrane.

        헬륨가스 흡입에 의한 질식

        Since the book “Final Exit: The Practicalities of Self-Deliverance and Assisted Suicide for the Dying”was published in 1991, there has been a worldwide increase in the number of cases of suicidal asphyxiation using helium gas. However, no domestic reports have been published thus far. Recently, we encountered a case of asphyxial suicide by inhalation of helium from inside a plastic bag. Subsequently, we reviewed the records of the Scientific Crime Analysis System of National Police Agency of Korea. There were 17 cases of helium-associated asphyxial suicides between January 1, 2000 and June 30, 2012. The average age of the deceased was 30.6years with a male to female ratio of approximately 5:1. Thirteen of 17 such deaths occurred in the victims’houses. In all cases, the method of death involved placing a plastic bag over the head with a hose attached to helium tanks. In 6 of 17 cases, the decedents had psychiatric disorders such as depression. As neither characteristic signs of death nor conventional methods for detecting helium gas exist, a thorough investigation of the death scene and the decedents’environment is extremely vital for confirming death due to helium asphyxiation.
