Power supply disturbance and abnormality may leave a factory with various losses, production stoppage and occasionally disaster. Because the decisions made during planning will affect the character of the facility, and its effectiveness as a production tool, care must be taken in directing planning to establish successful results. The most important subject of power supply system planning for factories is to meet given level of service and reliability as well as other constraints. This study deals with the scope and criteria required for the proper preliminary planning of industrial power supply system The results will contribute to conduct planning work to appropriateness and finally improve productivity.

This study presents method how regulating transformers can be properly adjusted for line flow control. To obtain preparatory system equations, system sensitivities are analysed by introducing linearization technique. Since regulating tranetormer is equipped with small tap limit, the procedure determining tap adjustments fits naturally with linearization. In addition to discussing basic model equations from the standpoint of understanding the influence of small purturbation on line flow changes, an effective way of sharing transformer taps is investigated in order to constrain line flow at desired value. The results show that regulation priority question and separation of weakly coupled taps handled in the approach cause no problems for practical applications.

The electric power development, which constituted the principal motive power for the remarkable economic progress of our country during las couple of decades, has been executed with priority on thermal power. We features of thermal plant layout lie in the arrangement of boiler, turboset and transformer according to the energy flow from fuel supply via steam generation to electricity supply. This study deals with the scope required electric for electric system configuration and arrangement of thermal power plant and will contribute to direct planning to appropriateness.

This paper presents the development of a PC based menu-driven power flow program which is specially designed for educational purpose in the field of power system engineering. The developed program, which can give the power engineering students full understanding of power flow calculation concept with ease, has various case study option with which the students can observe the effect of major variables change on power flow results. As a programming language, BASIC is adopted for the purpose of easy access and operation of the program by the students.

GIS(Gas-Insulated Switchgear)형 옥내변전소에 있어서 접지계의 구성은 접지도체를 포설할 수 있는 면적이 협소하기 때문에 특별한 설계방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 접지망의 전위해석과 축소형 변전소의 접지계 설계기법을 제시하였고, 아울러 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 위한 프로그램을 작성하고 그 시뮬레이션 결과를 측정치와 비교하여 프로그램의 타당성을 입증하였다.

A method for power system sensitivity analysis is presented. The reactions of bus voltages and line power flows to power perturbations and transformer tap changings are calculated by this method. Comparison of the results with those from standard load calculations shows relatively good agreement within practically interesting domains of power variation and transformer tap change. Hence this procedure is appliable to simulation of power system operation and allocation of the most effective intervention for power flow control.
