        어안렌즈 시야각의 광각화에 따른 조도저하의 원인과 개선방안에 관한 연구

        어안렌즈(fisheye lens)란 통상 초 광각의 시야각을 가지는 렌즈를 일컫는다. 초 광각의 시야각을 가지는 렌즈에서는 주변부시야각으로 갈수록 상의 조도가 급격히 저하하게 되는데, 본 논문에서는 이의 원인과 개선방안에 관해 논의한다. 왜냐하면 어안렌즈와 같은 초 광각의 렌즈에서는 기하광학적인 수차특성보다 오히려 시야각의 안정적인 확보가 광학적인 성능을 훨씬 더 좌우할 수 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 이를 위해, 먼저, 방향코사인벡터의 부호규약과 곡면 상에서의 법선벡터의 방향을 해석기하학적으로 다룬다. 이어서 해석기하학적인 논의를 바탕으로 조도저하의 다양한 원인들에 대해 수치 및 원리적인 분석을 실시하고, 개선에 대한 방안들을 제시한다. Lenses with an ultra wide angle of view are usually called fisheye lenses since a fish can see an ultra wide panoramic view under water. As the angle of view for these kinds of lenses reaches a wide angle, the illumination on an image sensor is reduced by a rapid drop. In this paper, we discuss the causes and the ways to correct for a rapid drop. First, it is treated for the sign convention of directional cosine vectors and normal vectors on the curved surface by means of analytic geometry. And, from the fundamental discussion for these vectors, the rapid illumination drop is numerically analyzed for various kinds of causes by utilizing geometrical optics and radiometry as well as Fresnel equations derived from electromagnetic boundary conditions. As a result, we are able to get the full understanding for the rapid illumination drop and to propose ways to correct effects due to an wide angle of view.

        Non-imaging Optical Design of a Measurement Probe for LCD Display Used in a Color Analyzer

        We introduce Gaussian (or paraxial) optics that can be successfully applied to design, for use in a color analyzer, a non-imaging optical system on a measurement probe for LCD display. The color analyzer is used to decompose colored lights leaving from some measurement area on the LCD display to red, green, and blue. The color analyzer must include a condenser lens whose purpose is to gather colored lights to illuminate a small area on the sensor. In order to satisfy a reduction ratio between the measurement area and the sensing area with a non-imaging condition, a condenser lens is analytically treated by means of Gaussian optics so that good understanding of the non-imaging condenser lens is achieved as a good design is derived. As a result, the technique shows the necessity of analytical treatment in contrast to the design approach using only commercial software such as CODE-V, Light-Tools, and others. Of course, CODE V and Light-Tools are also utilized in this paper to confirm and complete the Gaussian optical design. 본 논문에서는 LCD 디스플레이용 색채계 렌즈에 관해 근축광학적인 방법에 의한 비결상 광학설계를 소개한다. 색채계란 디스플레이 상의 측정영역으로부터 방출된 광을 빛의 3원색인 빨강, 녹색, 초록으로 분해하는 측정기기로써, 결상렌즈가 아닌 집광렌즈를 필요로 한다. 집광렌즈는 비결상 렌즈이고 측정영역과 감지영역 간의 특정한 압축비 조건을 만족해야 한다. 총체적인 비결상 광학조건을 이해하기 위해, 근축광학을 사용하여 필요충분조건을 해석적인 표현식으로 유도하였고, 나아가 간단한 공식으로 발전시켰다. 이 공식의 타당성은 CODE V와 Light-Tools를 사용하여 검증하였다. 이 공식은 색채계용 집광렌즈 뿐만 아니라, 레이저 빔의 세기를 균일하게 만들기 위한 어레이 렌즈의 설계에도 유용하게 확장 적용될 수 있다.

        상분할 방식의 기가픽셀 카메라를 위한 가우스 광학적인 구조설계

        작년 6월 20일, 기존의 일반 카메라에 비해 화질이 1,000배 이상인 초고분해능의 기가픽셀카메라가 미국 듀크대의 과학자들에 의해 네이처에 보고되었고 이를 월스트리트 저널이 보도했다. 보도에 따르면, 이 카메라는 미군부의 필요에 의해 공중 및 지상배치감시를 목적으로 개발되었다는 것이다. 이 기술은 향후 국방과 산업분야의 전반에 걸쳐서 기술.경제적인 파급효과가 매우 클 것으로 예상되기 때문에 국내에서도 시급히 개발에 착수할 필요가 있다고 판단된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 슈퍼 분해능을 갖는 상분할 방식의 기가픽셀 카메라를 구현하기 위한 전초작업으로써 카메라 렌즈시스템의 광학적인 구조를 고찰하였고 더불어 구조와 관련된 렌즈사양 값들의 범위를 계산해 내었다. It was reported in Nature and the Wall Street Journal on June 20th, 2012 that scientists at Duke university have developed a gigapixel camera, capable of over 1,000 times the resolution of a normal camera. According to the reports, this super-resolution camera was motivated by the need of US military authorities to surveil ground and sky. We notice the ripple effect of this technology has spread into the area of national defense and industry, so that this research has started to realize the super-resolution camera as a frontier research topic. As a result, we can understand the optical structure of a super-resolution camera's lens system to be composed of a front, monocentric objective of a single lens plus 98 rear, multiscale camera lenses. We can also obtain the numerical ranges of specification factors related to the optical structure, such as the diameter of the aperture, and the focal length.

        fθ 공식을 활용한 텔레센트릭 렌즈 및 플라이아이 렌즈의 설계

        본 논문에서는 근축광학적인 대수식(algegraic equations)과 설계경험적인 근사조건을 통해 텔레센트릭 렌즈를 구조적으로 이해할 수 있는 일반화된 관계식을 찾는다. 이 관계식은 $f{\theta}$ 공식으로 명명되고, 단매렌즈, 이중가우스렌즈, 쿠크(Cooke)의 삼중렌즈, 쿠크의 삼중렌즈와 이중가우스렌즈가 결합된 복합렌즈의 순서로 단계적으로 적용된다. 그리고 이 공식은 조명광학용으로 사용되는 단매의 플라이아이 렌즈와 집광렌즈, 2매의 플라이아이 렌즈와 집광렌즈에 대해서도 순차적으로 적용된다. 여기서, 집광렌즈는 텔레센트릭 렌즈와 광학적으로 동일한 속성을 가진다. 결론적으로, 본 논문에서 찾은 $f{\theta}$ 공식은 텔레센트릭 렌즈에 대한 구조적인 이해를 이끌어냄과 동시에 직관적인 방식의 설계에도 활용될 수 있음을 보여 준다. We try to find the generalized structural equation that gives a perspective understanding for telecentric lenses through paraxial optical algebraic equations and preconditions from a highly experienced design sense. The equation is named the $f{\theta}$ formula and this formula is applied to single lenses, double Gauss lenses, Cooke triplet lenses and the compound lens composed of a Cooke triplet lens and a double Gauss lens step by step. And this formula is also applied to single fly-eye lenses plus a telecentric lens and double fly-eye lenses plus a telecentric lens in sequence. As a result, we can confirm that this $f{\theta}$ formula leads to intuitive optical design with a structural understanding for telecentric lens systems.

        일본시장의 특징과 한국상품의 對日수출전략

        The purpose of this research is to show and analyze in detail the characteristic of Japanese market and through that to present a strategy for broadening Korean exportation to Japan. Until these days, most of researches were focused on the characteristic of Japanese trade structure, but only few researches focus on Japanese enterprises which are in competition with foreign companies. Considering the difficulties of the entrance of foreign companies into Japanese market, this research has made an attempt to analyze Japanese enterprises which have strong competitiveness in many industries. From 2002, among the Japan's imports, China took the first place, this research has focused on products in China, its characteristic and its present condition. This research also has paid attention to Japanese manufacturing industry, its production in China and the reimportation of the products and imports by Japanese trade industry. There are not only an observation concerning a trend and the latest changes in Japanese trade industry, but also analytics about successful case of Korean exports to Japan and presentation of a possible plan for its expansion.

        The Optical Design of Probe-type Microscope Objective for Intravital Laser Scanning CARS Microendoscopy

        A stack of gradient-index (GRIN) rod lenses cannot be used for coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microendoscopy for insertion to internal organs through a surgical keyhole with minimal invasiveness. That’s because GRIN lens has large amount of inherent chromatic aberrations in spite of absolutely requiring a common focus for pump and Stokes beam with each frequency of ωp and ωS. For this endoscopic purpose, we need to develop a long slender probe-type objective, namely probe-type microscope objective (PMO). In this paper, we introduce the structure, the working principle, and the design techniques of PMO which is composed of a probe-type lens module (PLM) and an adaptor lens module (ALM). PLM is first designed for a long slender type and ALM is successively designed by using several design parameters from PLM for eliminating optical discords between scanning unit and PLM. A combined module is optimized again to eliminate some coupling disparities between PLM and ALM for the best PMO. As a result, we can obtain a long slender PMO with perfectly diffraction-limited performance for pump beam of 817 nm and Stokes beam of 1064 nm.

        The Optical Design of Miniaturized Microscope Objective for CARS Imaging Catheter with Fiber Bundle

        In coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy reported until now, conventional microscope objectives are used, so that they are limited for introduction into a living body. Gradient-index (GRIN) rod lenses might be a solution for miniaturized microscope objectives for in-vivo CARS microscopy. However, due to the inherent large amount of chromatic aberration, GRIN rod lenses cannot be utilized for this purpose. CARS imaging catheter, composed of miniaturized microscope objective and fiber bundle, can be introduced into a living body for minimally invasive diagnosis. In order to design the catheter, we have to first investigate design requirements. And then, the optical design is processed with design strategies and intensive computing power to achieve the design requirements. We report the miniaturized objective lens system with diffraction-limited performance and completely corrected chromatic aberrations for an in-vivo CARS imaging catheter.

        韓美 FTA와 日本의 對應

        Last April, Korea and U.S. agreed on establishing a FTA and have signed the agreement on last June. Due to Korea's organization's calculation and prospect, with the effectuation of the Korea-U.S. FTA, Korea's products exported to U.S. will be exempted from tax, which will bring a great advantage to Korea's exportation. However. the fact that in U.S. market, Korea's main competing countries are China, Japan, and Mexico and the fact that Japan is the main competing country in Korea's main export market(cars and electronics), need to be noted. Also, it can be predicted that Japan would consider multiple countermoves such as lowering the price of exported goods, increasing the production and utilizing NAFTA to catch up with Korea's competitive price. In this paper, economic relationship between Korea and the U.S. between Japan and the U.S. will be discussed as well as the competition between Korea and Japan in U.S. market. Also, the thesis will discuss Japan's evaluation on Korea-U.S. FTA and forecast Japan's countermoves.
