Underwater guided torpedoes sailing in the water have developed a propulsion system to overcome the limitations of slow speed and short range and to send them farther and faster. In all underwater weapon systems, the share of propulsion is fundamentally more important than in any other sector, especially since torpedoes account for almost 50% of the space and weight of the electric propulsion system. In this section, we will examine the propulsion system currently used as a torpedo propulsion system.

Dynamo based vehicle inspection device is end of line device for automobile industry. The device is utilized as implementing vehicle functionality inspection such as brake force, cruise control, kick-down acceleration, CAN inspection. As dynamo based inspection device is broadly adopted in automobile industry, the dynamic study is required to verify the vehicle test equipment reliability. This research recommends appropriate dynamic brake force inspection procedure and theoretical background for developed equipment. Dynamic characteristic of brake force implementation to roller is simplified. With simplified characteristics, the indirect brake force measurement strategy is developed and adopted. Comparison of each brake force result, the appropriate brake force inspection criterion is given.
항공기 형상의 2단계 공력최적설계를 위한 Kriging 모델과 Adjoint Variable 기법의 활용

본 연구에서는 global optimization method 와 local optimization method 의 장점을 취하여 multi-stage 설계 방법을 제안하였다. 설계변수가 상대적으로 적은 날개 평면설계에 kriging + EI 와 GA(Genetic Algorithm) optimizer 를 적용하여 global optimization 을 수행하였다. 반면 상대적으로 설계변수가 많은 날개 표면 설계 문제에 discrete adjoint approach 를 적용하여 local optimization 을 수행하였다. Multi-stage 설계의 성능 검증을 위해 drag-decomposition 을 통해 최적설계 전후의 drag 감소량을 induced drag, wave drag 등으로 구분하여 비교하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of picturesque of Archigram's architecture image and their Little Magazine, Archigram. Picturesque, which appeared in Britain in the 18th century, originated from an interest in ordinary, heterogeneous objects and environments, and established a new mode of aesthetic. This aesthetic of the everyday world is a point that picturesque still can be used to explain the contemporary environment beyond the idea of an 18th century style. Archigram appeared in 1961, did not describe their architecture as a picturesque. However, there is an emotional connection between picturesque and their images because it embodies architectural aesthetics that coexist with the technology of everyday. Archigram tried various ways for the reader to experience and participate in their architectural image through the structure of the magazine. Archigram applied various visual arts expressions to their architectural images and disassembled the hierarchy of these visual elements to represent the flows and process, situation and events that could not be expressed in the existing architectural images. This can be interpreted as an example of Archigram's architecture, which has gone beyond the limits of British bureaucracy's picturesque in the 1950s, showing a modern version of picturesque.

The purpose of this study is to examine the ideas of schooling in the dominant educational theories in contemporary world, to see how they affected on the image of schooling in the minds of present men. Three representative theories, i.e., theories of deschooling, theories of radical revisionist historians of education, and Marxist theories were consulted. Deschoolers depicted schooling as manipulative, custodial, and meritocratic agency. putting the problems of education in the context of institutionalization, they emphasized the manipulative aspect of schooling. Radical revisionist historians figured schooling as repressive agency for social amelioration. Locating the problems of schooling in the context of social reform, they focused on the inabilityof schooling for social mobility. Marxist theorists viewed school as an agency of social and cultural reproduction. Considering schooling in the milieu of political and cultural domintation, they highlighted the reproductive function of schooling in the capitalist social structure. The image of schooling in the 1970s was not bright. But from the late 1970s on, with the coming of new social ethos and post-Marxist approach, a new image of schooling is forming. The new image is much more affirmative than the immediately former one, recognizing the limitations of former criticisms.
트레드밀 운동이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 유산소성 능력, 균형 및 보행에 미치는 영향 : 예비연구

The purpose of this study was to determine whether 6 weeks of treadmill exercise training could improve aerobic capacity, balance, and gait in patients with chronic stroke. Eleven patients with chronic stroke were randomly assigned into either the experimental group (n=6) or control group (n=5). The experimental group performed treadmill exercise training, whereas the control group participated in general walking training for 6 weeks. Aerobic capacity was assessed by using the 6 Minute Walking Test (6MWT) and single-stage submaximal treadmill walk test. Balance was measured by the BT4 force platform system, Berg Balance scale (BBS), and the timed up-and-go test (TUG). Gait was measured by a 10-m walking test (10 mWT) and Modified Dynamic Gait Index (mDGI) before and after the intervention. The Wilcoxon signed rank test was used to analyze changes of all intra-group variables before and after intervention. The Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyze changes of all inter-group variables. The experimental group improved in the 6MWT, VO2 max, K-BBS, TUG, and 10 mWT after intervention (p<0.05). The control group improved in the 6MWT, VO2 max, TUG, and 10 mWT after intervention (p<0.05). The experimental group showed significantly greater changes in the 6MWT (p<0.05), VO2 max (p<0.01), K-BBS score (p<0.01), TUG (p<0.05), and 10 mWT (p<0.05) than the control group. The result of this study suggests that treadmill exercise training can be used as an intervention to improve aerobic capacity, balance, and gait in patients with chronic stroke.
