The change of delayed coke made from coal tar with pyrolysis temperature was researched. Various delayed cokes was prepared by pyrolysis of coal tar. We representatively manufactured three kind cokes and find out what condition each cokes prepare. One is the pitch cokes that is slightly starting circular isotropic shape on the surface. Another is the semi-cokes with a small amounts of beta-resin. And we made the needle cokes that is structurally shown by polarizing microscope. Each of the conditions is that, firstly, circular isotropic shape in the cokes started when was heat-treated at 400°C for 1hr. and then disappeared at 400°C from 3hr. Secondly, the semi-cokes including 5~15w% beta-resin content is obtained at 500°C from 1hr to 2hr. Finally, needle coke having uniform directional anisotropy is manufactured when was heated at 500°C for 3hr.

High-density and high-strength isotropic carbonized carbon blocks were developed through oxidative stabilization of MCMBs prepared from coal tar pitch. The swelling phenomenon was inhibited by increasing the aromatic carbon contents and the amount of volatile matter of low molecular weight was controlled. Thus, the optimum conditions for the improvement of mechanical properties were studied and analyzed. Effect of oxidation stabilization on mesophase pitch and carbon fiber and mechanisms have been reported several times. The oxidation process is used in the graphene process developed by Hummers. Although the oxidative process was implemented for effective exfoliation of GO, has a disadvantage that it is easy to restack during reduction at about 700-1000 °C due to a π-π interaction.

Objectives This experimental study was carried out to evaluate the effects of Phellinus Linteus on immune activation. Methods In order to investigate the effect of Phellinus Linteus, the following was performed: The fraction of $CD4^+$, $CD8^+$, $CD19^+$ in splenic cell, gene expression of IL-12 (p35), IL-12 (p40) , $IFN-{\gamma}$, and splenic cell proliferation by PL-E. Results PL-E helped $CD4^+$, $CD8^+$, $CD19^+$ expression more effectively compared with control group. PL-E helped IL-12 (p35), IL-12 (p40), $IFN-{\gamma}$ gene expression in splenic cells more effectively compared with control group. PL-E proliferated splenic cells more effectively compared with control group. Conclusions: It is suggested that PL-E is able to activate immune response system.

등방탄소블록은 높은 온도에서 우수한 기계적 물성과 뛰어난 부식 저항력, 낮은 팽창율을 나타낸다. 이러한 특성은 등방탄소블록을 전극재료와 씰, 특수고온로, 등 전반적인 산업분야에서 핵심소재로 부상시켰다. 등방탄소블록의 주재료는 필러와 바인더이나, 공정비용 절감을 위해 자기소결성을 갖는 탄소재료가 연구되어지고 있다. 또한, 기계적물성을 개선시키는 연구도 함께 진행되고 있다. 본 실험의 주재료는 기계적물성이 향상된 등방탄소블록을 개발하기위해 자기소결성 탄소재와 short carbon fiber 가 이용되었다. 이를 통한, 본 연구의 목적은 short carbon fiber의 함류량, 자기소결성 입자사이즈가 등방탄소블록에 미치는 영향이다.
