The objective of this study is to compare and analyze the industrial injury-values of all the industries through yearly accident rate and frequency rate based on the governmental documentation of industrial injuries. The samples for this study are chosen from the companies with less than 200 employees under charge of the Kangnung Ministry of Labor during the period of 1995-97. Safe-T-Score is used for statistic control on the qualitative comparison of the present and the past industrial injury-rates. In the comparison of the past and the present industrial injury-rate by means of Safe-T-Score, this study shows that there does not exist any remarkable improvement, whereas the document of the Ministry of labor reports that the rate is decreasing greatly. Therefore, this study proposes some solutions to reduce industrial disasters and points out the necessity of more practical and effective methods to analyze the industrial disaster.

The main purpose of this paper is to analyze preference of consumers on mobile devices. Preference analysis was performed on five major brands with five aspects such as commercial image, price, design, function and durability. The result of this study will be helpful for manufactures of mobile devices.

Ultimate goal of this research is to develop a web-based forecasting system of industrial accidents. As an initial step for the purpose of this study, this paper provides a comparative analysis of 4 kinds of algorithms including CHAID, CART, C4.5, and QUEST. In addition, this paper presents the logical process for development of a forecasting system. Decision tree algorithm is utilized to predict results using objective and quantified data as a typical technique of data mining. The sample for this work was chosen from 10,536 data related to manufacturing industries during three years(2002~2004) in korea.

The main objective of this study is to provide numerical guideline for size establishment of safety shoes about adult men(over 20 years) compared to physical standards of nation (report published in 1997). The sample for this work was chosen from data which were collected and measured by Size Korea during two years (20032004). In order to analyze and compare features of men's foot, analysis was performed about 1,685 subjects on 2 parts such as foot length and foot circumference. For the specific comparison on foot size, Mollison's comparison graph was used. The result of this study can be applied in manufacturing and design of shoes and socks. Also, it will enable us to have fruitful information on considerable items during manufacturing and design of safety shoes.
근골격계질환 예방을 위한 작업환경개선에 관한 연구 - K기업을 중심으로 -

Recently most universities are suffering from students leaving their majors. In order to make a countermeasure for reducing major separation rate, many universities are trying to find a proper solution. As a similar endeavor, this paper uses decision tree algorithm which is one of the data mining techniques which conduct grouping or prediction into several sub-groups from interested groups. This technique can analyze a feature of type on students leaving their majors. The dataset consists of 5,115 features through data selection from total data of 13,346 collected from a university in Kangwon-Do during seven years(2000.3.1 2006.6.30). The main objective of this study is to evaluate performance of algorithms including CHAID, CART and C4.5 for classification of students leaving their majors with ROC Chart, Lift Chart and Gains Chart. Also, this study provides values about accuracy, sensitivity, specificity using classification table. According to the analysis result, CART showed the best performance for classification of students leaving their majors.

Recently data mining techniques have been used for analysis and classification of data related to industrial accidents. The main objective of this study is to compare performance of algorithms for data analysis of industrial accidents and this paper provides a comparative analysis of 5 kinds of algorithms including CHAID, CART, C4.5, LR (Logistic Regression) and NN (Neural Network) with ROC chart, lift chart and response threshold. In this study, data on 67,278 accidents were analyzed to create risk groups for a number of complications, including the risk of disease and accident. The sample for this work chosen from data related to manufacturing industries during three years (2002~2004) in korea. According to the result analysis, NN has excellent performance for data analysis and classification of industrial accidents.

In general, data mining has iterative processes with the following five steps: Data Selection, Cleansing, Transformation, Mining, Interpretation. Among these steps, steps of data selection and cleansing are performed to classify data. There are two types of data, continuous data and discrete data. Discrete data has a classified structure and it is easy to obtain rules from data. However, there are no general rules for classified method of data in continuous data. So, the result of data analysis will be differed from the classified method of data in continuous data. This research presents a methodology that can obtain the rules from data and classify data according to situations in DBMS (Data Base Management Systems).

The main objective of this study is to propose numerical guideline for the improvement of educational environment about high school girls. In order to analyze feature of the somatotype of the high school girls, analysis of this study was performed about 25 body parts such as height(7 parts), width(4 parts), thickness(4 parts), circumference(5 parts), length(4 parts), and body weight. For the specific comparison on body dementions, Mollison's comparison graph were used.

산업재해 통계분석의 커다란 목적은 각 산업별로 주 위험요인을 도출하고 이에 따른 안전교육의 실시 또는 안전장치 등을 보완함으로써 산업재해를 줄이거나 예방하는데 있다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 일반 제조업이나 건설업 등에서는 아직까지도 정량적 위험성 평가 기법이 개발되어 있지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 효율적인 위험성 평가 기법의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 데이터마이닝 기법을 이용한 산업재해 예방을 위한 최적 알고리즘 선정 방법을 제시한다.
