헬리코박터 파일로리균 감염에 대한 IMMULITE2000®의 GENEDIA®와의 정확성 비교

Background/Aims: In serological tests for Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (GENEDIA®) and a solid-phase, two-step chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay (IMMULITE®), which are easy to perform, inexpensive, and widely available, are commonly used. However, local validation of the test performance of IMMULITE® is required. This study aimed to examine the performance of IMMULITE® in comparison with that of GENEDIA® in a Korean health checkup population. Materials and Methods: The sera of 300 subjects among those who underwent health checkup were analyzed using IMMULITE®, and results were compared with those of GENEDIA®. The two serological tests were compared for their ability to predict atrophic gastritis (AG) or intestinal metaplasia (IM) on endoscopy. Results: We found significant correlation (Pearson correlation coefficient=0.903, P<0.0001) and an almost perfect agreement (Cohen’s Kappa coefficient=0.987, P<0.0001) between the results of GENEDIA® and IMMULITE®. The area under the receiver operating characteristics curve (AUC) for AG using GENEDIA® and IMMULITE® were 0.590 and 0.604, respectively, and showed no statistically significant difference in predictive ability for AG (Z-statistics=-0.517, P=0.605). The AUC for IM by GENEDIA® and IMMULITE® were 0.578 and 0.593, respectively, with no statistically significant difference in predictive ability for IM between the two values (Z-statistics=-0.398, P=0.691). Conclusions: No statistically significant difference in diagnostic value for H. pylori infection was found between GENEDIA® and IMMULITE®.

This study evaluated the in vitro early marginal seal effectiveness in class V restorations of glass ionomer cement with or without dentin treatment, sandwich technique, and composite resin with several kinds of dentin bonding agents. The preparations were as uniformly as possible, with depth 1.5 mm, size 4 X 3mm. The one kind of glass ionomer cement for each type, 40% polyacrylic acid for dentin treatment, one kind of composite resin and three commercial dentin bonding agents were tested. Four groups were restored with only glass ionomer cement to evaluate the effect of dentin treatment and the type of glass ionomer on marginal leakage. Two groups were filled with composite resin with glass ionomer base by means of sandwich technique. And three groups were restored wih three commercial dentin bonding agent(Gluma�, Scotchbond 2�, and Tenure) and composite resin. The one that was filled with composite resin without use of dentin bonding agent was used as control group. Ten experimental groups including control group were established and each group had ten cavities. Eight of ten cavities of each group were used for marginal leakage test and two of ten, for investigation of marginal gap. Immediately after being restored, all of specimens were thermocycled 100 times through water bath of 5 ± It and 55 ± It for 38 sec in each bath. Then, marginal leakage of them were estimated by dye penetration method and scanning electron micrographs were taken to evaluate the marginal gap between dentin and restorations at X 1,000 magnification. On the summary of this study, the conclusions were as follows 1. Generally, more marginal leakage at the gingival margins was investigated than at the occlusal margin. While the groups filled with composite resin with dentin bonding agents showed less marginal leakage at occlusal margin, the groups restored with glass ionomer cement had the lower marginal leakage score at gingival margin. 2 When glass ionomer/composite resin sandwich restorations were compared with other restorations, they had least margial leakage at gingival margin. 3. Types of glass ionomer cement and dentin treatment did not affect on the marginal leakage at occlusal margin. At gingival margin, marginal leakage of light curing glass ionomer cement with dentin treat-merit showed significantly higher marginal leakage and wider marginal gap was seen in light curing glass ionomer cement than in chemical curing glass ionomer cement. 4. Though Tenure� exibited significantly less marginal leakage than Gluma� and Scotchbond 20, all of three dentin bonding agents seldom made wide marginal gap equally.

Common plastic concept in Impressionism and kinetic art The creative dialogue of plastics elements within a work of Art are, point, line, plane, form, color, volume, mass and movement etc. Among them, the concept of the real and potential movement in the plastic arts means the variation and the transfer of the time and space and also leads us to the domain of continous thinking. The Impressionists expressed nature, by the effect of color movement, to realize this expression, they used the technic, of touch, division and point as a color technic. The subject matter they selected was natural movement, for example; water. sky, clouds, trees or dancing girls. They used a scientific approach and aesthetic intention to realize the vision of the future. Ignoring past traditions, and theories they moved forward, and in so doing many influences on the next generation. Entering the 20th century a period began where machine and technology had a great influence on the artist. Many artists tried to express movement in their paintings and sculptures, using the force of the natural energy of the machine as a starting point. The psychological and physical factors of movement when we see the works of art, either in the street or in the galerie make us want to look, to touch, to feel, to percieve and to think about the works. The porpose of this study is to emphasise, and explain how kinetic art began, and how it penetrated through to the public. Also how there is a relationship between Kinetic Art and the social enviroment we live in.

This study analyzes the meaning and emotions conveyed in Hemingway’s “The Old Man and the Sea” and visualizes the iceberg theory to understand them by utilizing network analysis. Network analysis enables multidimensional examination of the author’s emotions and values by considering the correlation between language expressions reflecting the author’s consciousness. First, the analysis showed the changes in the positive and negative aspects of emotion words according to the narrative structure by analyzing the frequency of emotion words and the frequency of emotion words that co-occur with the topic words. Second, UCINET was used to extract centrality, clustering, and network strength indicators, and the correlation between topic words and emotion words was quantified and visualized based on them. By tracking the changes in emotion words and their connections at each stage, it was possible to clearly confirm what emotions the author emphasized in what situations and how they influenced the overall story. Through specific numerical indicators provided by various indicators of the network, this study objectively quantified the correlation between topic words and emotion words, such as which emotion words are connected to the topic words and the strength of the connection. This quantitative linguistic and network analysis objectively proves how the author’s intention and message are reflected in language, and it also enabled observations of aspects that are difficult to perceive intuitively, highlighting the importance of these research methodologies in language studies.

TA 집단상담 적용이 일반 청소년의 자아 상태와 생활 자세에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 TA 집단상담 적용이 일반 청소년의 자아 상태와 생활 자세에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 한 것이며, 자아형성의 시기에 있는 청소년들의 긍정적 자아의 형성을 돕기 위한 예방적·치료적·교육적 상담의 필요성에 의해 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결론은 첫째, TA 집단상담 적용이 청소년들의 자아상태에 변화를 주었다. 둘째, TA를 활용한 집단상담이 청소년의 생활자세에 변화를 주었다. 이러한 연구의 결과를 통해 TA 집단상담 적용이 청소년의 자아상태와 생활자세에 긍정적인 변화를 주었다. 따라서 청소년을 문제, 비행, 폭행, 장애 등의 수식어로 분류하기보다 현실적이고 예방적인 차원의 지원이 필요하다고 본다.
