The purpose of this study is to re-identify the journalistic ethic of objectivity in respect of its rhetorical purpose. This study argues that as the digital media increase the commonalities of information, it is more important to understand the rhetorical meaning of objectivity; rather than its ontological/epistemological ground. For the purpose, this study reviews the previous debate on journalistic objectivity. Through the reviews, this study argues that journalistic objectivity does not rest on an ontological/epistemological ground, rather it should be understood as their shared interpretive frameworks to legitimate their practices of profession. Also, this study argues that the primary role of journalists is to maintain discursive and material coherence among different subjectivities. For the reason, journalistic objectivity needs to be re-positioned as a normative practice for the purpose of journalism, a telos, which is to provoke conversation among the publics.
Fe-Si 전기강판 폐스크랩을 이용한 3원계 Fe-9.8Si-6.0Al 합금의 연자성 특성

Fe-9.8Si-6.0Al mother alloy was manufactured using by Fe-3.5Si recycled scrap and Si powder. And then, soft magnetic alloy powder of $D_{50}$ size and sphere type were prepared by gas atomization process. To obtain the soft magnetic powder of a high aspect ratio, in the first, we conducted the ball milling process for 8 hours. And heat treatment was performed under $650^{\circ}C$, 2 hours and $N_2$ atmosphere condition for reducing the residual stress of the powder. Based on these process, we made around $50{\mu}m$ diameter Fe-9.8Si-6.0Al powder, which morphology and shape was a similar to the commercial Fe-Si-Al powder. Finally, the soft magnetic sheets were prepared by tape casting process using by those powders. The permeability of the tape casting sheet was measured, and we confirmed the possibility of reusing to the soft magnetic materials of Fe-Si electric sheet scrap.

This study focused on examining the possibility for recycling of Fe-Si electric sheet. We manufactured Fe-6.5Si mother alloy using by Fe-Si electric sheet scrap for transformer core materials. And then, soft magnetic alloy powder which diameter and shape were $45{\sim}150{\mu}m$ and sphere type was prepared by gas atomization process. As we compared to commercial Fe-6.5Si powder, its diameter distribution and microstructure of recycled powder was a similar. To investigate the possibility of reusing the soft magnetic composite sheet for electronics, recycled powder was treated to have a high aspect ratio (AR), and we finally obtained the 65~66 AR and $2.3{\mu}m$ thickness powder. To release the residual stress of powder, heat treatment was conducted under $300{\sim}400^{\circ}C$, $N_2$ gas. And then, soft magnetic sheet was made by tape casting process using by those powders. After the density and permeability of tape was measured, and we confirmed that the recycled Fe-Si electric sheet scrap was possible to reuse the soft magnetic materials of electronics.

동토지반을 구성하는 지층 중 표층에 분포하는 활동층은 계절에 따라 동결과 융해를 반복하여 지표면의 동상을 야기한다. 동상 높이는 활동층의 두께에 큰 영향을 받으므로, 동토지반 상부 인프라시설의 안전한 설계 및 시공을 위하여 활동층의 두께 산정은 매우 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 본 연구에서는 경량화된 원위치 관입시험 방법인 동적 콘 관입기를 이용하여 동토지반에서 활동층이 분포하는 심도를 평가하고자 하였다. 동적 콘 관입시험을 적용하기 위한 대상현장으로서 알래스카에 위치한 솔로몬 지역의 동토지반이 선택되었으며, 해당 지역의 두 개소에서 지중온도계측 및 동적 콘 관입시험이 수행되었다. 적용실험 결과 동적 콘 관입시험으로부터 획득된 동적 콘 관입지수는 활동층 및 영구동토층에서 서로 상이한 값을 나타내는바 동적 관입특성에 따른 활동층과 영구동토층의 경계부 심도가 산정되었으며, 경계부 심도에서 아이스 렌즈층으로 판단되는 구간이 감지되었다. 해당 개소에서 획득된 지중온도분포도에서 영상 및 영하 온도의 경계 심도는 본 연구의 동적 콘 관입시험으로부터 획득된 활동층 분포 심도와 부합하는 결과를 보였다. 본 연구에서 적용된 동적 콘 관입기는 대형장비의 접근 및 적용에 한계가 있는 극한지 동토 지역의 활동층 심도평가를 위하여 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. An active layer distributed on surface of an extreme cold region causes a frost heave by repeating the freezing and thawing according to the seasonal temperature change. Since the height of frost heave is greatly affected by the thickness of active layer, an accurate evaluation of the thickness of active layer is necessary for the safe design and construction of the infrastructure in the extreme cold region. In this study, dynamic cone penetrometer, which is miniaturized in-situ penetration device, is applied for the evaluation of active layer depth distribution. As the application tests, two dynamic cone penetration tests were conducted on the study sites located in Solomon and Alaska. In addition, ground temperature variations were obtained. As the results of the application tests, the depth of interface between the active layer and the permafrost was evaluated from the difference in dynamic cone penetration indexes of the active layer and the permafrost, and a layer was detected around the interface considered as an ice lens layer. Also, the interface depths between the above zero and the below zero temperature determined from the ground temperature variations correspond with the interface depths evaluated from the dynamic cone penetration tests. This study demonstrates that the dynamic cone penetrometer may be a useful tool for the evaluation of the active layer in the extreme cold region.
