        GEase-K: 부가 정보를 활용한 선형 및비선형 오토인코더 기반의 추천시스템

        In the recent field of recommendation systems, various studies have been conducted to model sparse data effectively. Among these, GLocal-K(Global and Local Kernels for Recommender Systems) is a research endeavor combining global and local kernels to provide personalized recommendations by considering global data patterns and individual user characteristics. However, due to its utilization of kernel tricks, GLocal-K exhibits diminished performance on highly sparse data and struggles to offer recommendations for new users or items due to the absence of side information. In this paper, to address these limitations of GLocal-K, we propose the GEase-K (Global and EASE kernels for Recommender Systems) model, incorporating the EASE(Embarrassingly Shallow Autoencoders for Sparse Data) model and leveraging side information. Initially, we substitute EASE for the local kernel in GLocal-K to enhance recommendation performance on highly sparse data. EASE, functioning as a simple linear operational structure, is an autoencoder that performs highly on extremely sparse data through regularization and learning item similarity. Additionally, we utilize side information to alleviate the cold-start problem. We enhance the understanding of user-item similarities by employing a conditional autoencoder structure during the training process to incorporate side information. In conclusion, GEase-K demonstrates resilience in highly sparse data and cold-start situations by combining linear and nonlinear structures and utilizing side information. Experimental results show that GEase-K outperforms GLocal-K based on the RMSE and MAE metrics on the highly sparse GoodReads and ModCloth datasets. Furthermore, in cold-start experiments divided into four groups using the GoodReads and ModCloth datasets, GEase-K denotes superior performance compared to GLocal-K.

        NSDI 구축을 위한 평면직각좌표계원점에 관한 연구

        As there are some limitations to present nationwide continuous data using the current origin of plane coordinates when presenting fundamental geographic information, UTM-K(Universal Transverse Mercator-Korea : The origin of unified plane coordinates) coordinate system has been introduced in the fundamental law, aimed to establish NGIS, in order to present the fundamental geographic information. Even though the cadastral data have been included in the fundamental geographic information, in fact, it is inaccessible to transfer from a large-scale cadastral map to the World Geodetic System the unified origin because of the characteristics of cadastre. In this study, it has been done a comparative analysis area and distance, scale factor and projected area in the ellipsoid of the Geodetic Reference System(GRS80), the current Geodetic System(Bessel), the multiple origin(TM) and the unified origin(UTM-K). Furthermore the popularized continuous cadastral maps among the fundamental geographic information have been established UTM-K. A distance correction factor of each district would have to be calculated to decide whether it is possible to the management of cadastral register and terrestrial survey through the established data. The most popularized continuous cadastral map among the fundamental geographic information should contain various kinds of regulations and political data, and as it is the important fundamental map for the search of parcel number in a car navigation, it would be needed to look through the establishment of unified plane coordinates in order to be compatible and overlaid with other thematic maps. 기본지리정보를 표현함에 있어 현재의 평면직각좌표계원점으로는 전국적인 연속자료를 표현하는 데 한계가 있으며, NGIS 구축에 관한 기본 법률에 UTM-K(단일평면직각좌표원점) 좌표계를 도입하여 기본지리정보를 표현하도록 되어 있다. 지적정보는 기본지리정보에 포함되지만 대축척의 지적도면을 세계측지계 또는 단일원점으로 변환하는 것은 지적의 특수성으로 인하여 쉽게 접근하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 세계측지계(GRS80)와 현행 측지계(Bessel)의 타원체상의 면적 및 거리, 축척계수, 투영면적을 TM 방식과 UTM-K 방식으로 비교 분석하였다. 또한 기본지리정보 중 대중화된 연속지적도를 UTM-K에 의해 구축하였다. 구축된 자료를 통하여 지적공부관리와 지상측량에 적용 가능 여부를 가리기 위해서는 구역별 거리보정계수를 산출하여야 할 것이다. 기본지리정보 중 가장 대중화된 연속지적도는 각종 규제 및 정책정보자료를 제공하여야 하고, 자동차 네비게이션 지번검색에 중요한 기본도이므로 타 주제도와의 호환 및 중첩을 위해서는 단일평면직각좌표계 구축을 검토해야 할 것이다.

        Abrupt Dyskeratotic and Squamoid Cells in Poorly Differentiated Carcinoma: Case Study of Two Thoracic NUT Midline Carcinomas with Cytohistologic Correlation

        Cytologic diagnosis of nuclear protein in testis (NUT) midline carcinoma (NMC) is important due to its aggressive behavior and miserable prognosis. Early diagnosis of NMC can facilitate proper management, and here we report two rare cases of thoracic NMC with cytohistologic correlation. In aspiration cytology, the tumor presented with mixed cohesive clusters and dispersed single cells, diffuse background necrosis and many neutrophils. Most of the tumor cells had scanty cytoplasm and medium-sized irregular nuclei, which had fine to granular nuclear chromatin. Interestingly, a few dyskeratotic cells or squamoid cell clusters were present in each case. Biopsy specimen histology revealed more frequent squamous differentiation, and additional immunohistochemistry tests showed nuclear expression of NUT. Because this tumor has a notorious progression and has been previously underestimated in terms of its prevalence, awareness of characteristic findings and proper ancillary tests should be considered in all suspicious cases.

        손목이 묶인 상태로 발견된 익사체: 2예 보고

        Drowned bodies with bound wrists are occasionally observed in forensic practice. Suicidal victims may bind their hands or feet with a rope to ensure success of the suicide attempt, but the possibility of homicidal drowning cannot be excluded. We report on two autopsy cases of drowning with bound wrists. A 51-year-old man (case 1) was found in the bathroom beside the bathtub, with his head under the water in the bathtub. His wrists were tied with a green bath towel. An 83-year-old man (case 2) was found dead in a reservoir. His wrists were loosely bound with blue nylon traps on the back, and both ankles were loosely tied with socks, with a simple knot on the left ankle. At autopsy, the lungs were hyperinflated, and foamy fluid was exuded from the bronchi in both cases.

        Improvement of the subcooled boiling model using a new net vapor generation correlation inferred from artificial neural networks to predict the void fraction profiles in the vertical channel

        In the one-dimensional thermal-hydraulic (TH) codes, a subcooled boiling model to predict the void fraction profiles in a vertical channel consists of wall heat flux partitioning, the vapor condensation rate, the bubbly-to-slug flow transition criterion, and drift-flux models. Model performance has been investigated in detail, and necessary refinements have been incorporated into the Safety and Performance Analysis Code (SPACE) developed by the Korean nuclear industry for the safety analysis of pressurized water reactors (PWRs). The necessary refinements to models related to pumping factor, net vapor generation (NVG), vapor condensation, and drift-flux velocity were investigated in this study. In particular, a new NVG empirical correlation was also developed using artificial neural network (ANN) techniques. Simulations of a series of subcooled flow boiling experiments at pressures ranging from 1 to 149.9 bar were performed with the refined SPACE code, and reasonable agreement with the experimental data for the void fraction in the vertical channel was obtained. From the root-mean-square (RMS) error analysis for the predicted void fraction in the subcooled boiling region, the results with the refined SPACE code produce the best predictions for the entire pressure range compared to those using the original SPACE and RELAP5 codes.

        지적정보의 기초 데이터 세트 설계

        In 2010, the government abolished the law on National Geographic Information and enacted the law on National Spatial Information, in this new law, 9 items of basic spatial information, namely framework data or spatial data set were defined. Cadastral information is used as a basic map of framework data. In this paper, cadastral data produced by cadastral data management or services were regarded as a data set and then cadastral control points, cadastral boundary points, orthophotos, and surveying records were set. The data set was composed as having a very close relationship with management of cadastral data, cadastral surveying and services and a new data model was designed and implemented for control points and boundary points among the data set. Cadastral control points and boundary points were given a unique identifier to define them spatially, it proposed a method of connecting surveying records, statistical data and so on mutually. 정부는 2010년 국가지리정보에 관한 법을 폐지하고 국가공간정보에 관한 법을 제정하면서 기본 공간정보 즉, 프레임워크 데이터 또는 공간정보 데이터 세트로 통용되는 9개 항목에 대하여 정의하였다. 지적정보는 프레임워크 데이터의 기본도 역할을 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 지적정보 관리나 서비스에서 새롭게 생산되는 지적정보를 데이터 세트로 간주하고 지적기준점, 지적경계점, 정사영상, 측량기록물을 설정하였다. 설정된 데이터 세트는 지적정보의 관리나 지적측량 및 서비스와 상호 유기적으로 매우 밀접한 관계가 있는 정보로 구성하였으며, 지적기준점과 경계점에 대하여 새로운 데이터모델을 설계하고 구현하였다. 지적기준점과 경계점에는 공간적 정의가 가능한 고유식별자를 부여하여 관측기록과 통계정보 등의 정보와 상호 유기적으로 연계하여 사용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.
