        긴 펄스 알렉산드라이트 레이저를 이용한 겨드랑털의 제거

        The goal of this study was to prospectively assess the long-term results of long pulse alexandrite laser depilation in 13 patients who underwent axillary hair removal initially since February 2000. Thirteen patients underwent laser therapy, four times every 2 months. The last follow up was 21 months later. The patients were treated with alexandrite laser, with 20J/cm2 energy density, 20ms pulse duration. Percentage of hair removal (clearance rate) was assessed by an average hair count in 1cm2 of the same treated area. The clearance rates were respectively 38%, 44%, 70%, 74% according as the therapy was repeated. There were no significant complications except for temporary erythema and vesicle formation. The long pulse alexandrite laser can safely remove unwanted axillary hair in a Fitzpatrick skin type IV.

      • OpenSceneGraph를 이용한 비행 시뮬레이션 영상발생장치 소프트웨어 설계

        현재 시뮬레이션 영상발생장치는 개방형 소프트웨어 환경에서 구현되지 않았기 때문에 이를 이용하여 고성능 시뮬레이터를 개발하는 것은 불가능하며 개발 시 고비용이 요구된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 OpenSource 기반 OSG(OpenSceneGraph)[1-3]를 이용한 시뮬레이션 영상 발생장치를 위한 소프트웨어 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 소프트웨어는 데이터 전송을 위한 CIGI(Common Image Generator Interface) 모듈, 시뮬레이션 영상 처리부, 시뮬레이션 제어부로 구성된다. 마지막으로 이러한 컴포넌트간의 관계를 설정하고 향후 실제 구현 방법을 간략하게 언급한다. Since current existing simulation image generator is not based on open architecture at all, it is almost impossible to develop new simulator with low cost. To solve mentioned problem, in this paper, we propose new software architecture using OSG(OpenSceneGraph)[1-3] that is an open source high performance 3D graphics toolkit, used scientific visualization and modeling. The proposed software architecture consists of three major components, that is, CIGI(Common Image Generator Interface) module for communication, simulation image processing part, and simulation controller. Finally, the relationship between components is defined and then brief explanation for implementation will be addressed.

      • 비행시뮬레이터에서 실시간 렌터링을 위한 충돌감지기법

        항공기 시뮬레이터의 실시간 렌더링 소프트웨어는 지면과의 충돌 시 지면을 통과하지 않고 거리를 유지하기 위하여 충돌 감지 기능을 사용한다. 해당 기능은 바운딩 볼륨을 사용하여 실시간으로 물체와 지면과의 거리를 연산하고 연산된 값에 따라 충돌을 감지하도록 구현된다. 하지만 이러한 방식의 경우 바운딩 볼륨과 지면과의 거리를 계산하기 위해 추가적인 연산이 필요하므로 이는 성능 저하의 요인이 될 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 추가적인 연산을 방지하기 위하여 HAT, HOT, LOS 정보를 활용한 충돌 감지 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방안은 오프 소스 그래픽 라이브러리를 사용하여 구현하였으며 실제 지형 정보를 활용한 실험 결과를 통해 항공기 시뮬레이션의 실시간 렌더링 소프트웨어에 적합함을 확인하였다. The real-time rendering software of flight simulator employs collision detection not to pass through ground by keeping minimum distance between aircraft and ground. The collision detection function is usually implemented by using bounding volume technique which computes distance between object and ground. But in such case, since it demands additional operations, performance degradation of real-time rendering software is brought. To solve this problem, in this paper, we propose new collision detection scheme which is based on essential function of flight simulator such as HAT, HOT, LOS in order to reduce additional operations. The new collision detection function was implemented by using OSG and verified by test with real terrain.

        The effect of pH on synthesizing Ni-decorated MWCNTs and its application for Sn-58Bi solder

        Nickel-decorated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (Ni-MWCNTs) were synthesized using a colloidal method and an electroless plating method to form Ni nanoparticles on the surface of MWCNTs. The Ni electroless plating process was optimized with solutions at various pH (5, 6, 7, and 8) levels. The Ni-MWCNTs fabricated at pH 7 show the most stable Ni nanoparticles on the surface of the MWNCTs. After optimization of the Ni plating process, the Ni-MWCNTs/Sn-58Bi composite solder were fabricated with varying contents of (0, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 wt%) Ni-MWCNTs. The experimental results show that Ni-MWCNTs enhance the mechanical properties of Sn-58Bi solder. The shear strength of Sn-58Bi solder improves by about 14% with 0.1 wt% Ni-MWCNTs. Furthermore, the microstructure evolution after a high temperature storage test shows that Ni-MWCNTs have an effect on grain refining and interrupt growth of the Intermetallic compound layer. The distribution of Ni- MWCNTs could be recognized with the results of EPMA.

        혈관경 머리뼈판과 유리배곧은 근육피판을 이용한 위턱뼈 결손의 재건 1례 보고

        Total maxillectomy usually results in defects on anterior, posterior, medial and lateral wall of the maxilla besides the palate and the orbit floor. The traditional reconstructive approaches to maxillectomy include skin grafting to line the internal cavity and palatal prosthesis to obturate the palate and serve as a denture. This method is easy to detect tumor recurrence by direct examination. The drawback of this method is that the infection rate is very high and it can not yield structural support to the upper midface. It is not possible to repair the maxillary defects effectively when using only the hard tissue like bone. The reconstruction by using soft tissue makes it possible to repair the defects on the medial nasal wall, eye socket and the palate, but it is impossible to reconstruct the malar eminence. Therefore, the transfer of soft and hard tissue is recommended for the ideal and effective reconstruction of the defect after the total maxillectomy. We have acquired satisfactory results for both fuctional and aesthetical purposes in the cancer patient who received the maxillectomy by using the vascularized calvarial bone and the free rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap.

      • A Sentimentalist Approach to the Comfort Women Issue: Reading a Documentary The Big Picture through the Notion of Sympathy

        This paper analyzes a recently released documentary on the comfort women issue, The Big Picture, through two notions of sympathy: diachronic sympathy and synchronic sympathy. Diachronic sympathy is to infer the counterpart's passion in relation to his or her diachronic being. It is collective but personal and reflective but contingent. In contrast, synchronic sympathy is to imagine the circumstance of the counterpart. It is a partially reactive sentiment to an imagined circumstantial vulnerability. With this distinction, I contend that both Koreans and the Japanese in the documentary might reconsider their habituated nationalistic orientations towards the comfort women issue and perceive circumstantial vulnerability comfort women faced as a shared threat through the Lacanian real at the register of diachronic sympathy and the Derridean différance at the register of synchronic sympathy.
