Kinetic studies were carried out for aquation of carbonatobis(ethylenediamine)cobalt(III) complexes in [H+] aqueous solution by UV/VIS-spectrophotometry. The rate law that in deduced from rate data is $rate=k_H{^+}[H^+]^{1.4}$ {$[Co(en)_2(CO_3)]^+$}1.0 where $k_H{^+}$ is the rate constant considering acidic catalyst, $H^+$ ion whose value is $0.241l{\cdot}mol^{-1}{\cdot}sec^{-1}$. The values of activation parameters Ea, ${\Delta}H^{\ast}$ and ${\Delta}S^{\ast}$ were $15.33Kcal{\cdot}mol^{-1}$, $14.52Kcal{\cdot}mol^{-1}$ and -57.49 e.u. respectively. On the basis of kinetic data and the observed activation parameters, we have proposed the mechanism that proceeds with two step protonations. The rate equation derived from the proposed mechanism has been in agreement with the observed rate equation. It has been seen that our modified mechanism for Harris's proton freequilibrium one prefer to the his concerted mechanism, and more the last product substitute $H_2O$ for $OH^-$ the Harris's mechanism in the acidity range 2 < pH < 5.
New routes to the preparation of silver-soft liner nanocomposites as an antibacterial agent

This study evaluated the antimicrobial and physical properties of silver-soft liner nanocomposites (Ag-SLN). Polymerized acrylic soft denture liner disk specimens containing 0 (control), 1500, 3000, or 6000 mg/L of silver nanoparticles were placed on the flat bottom of the separate 12-well cell culture plate dish and 100 mL samples of microbial suspensions of Escherichia coli strain were inoculated on each specimen and incubated at 37 ℃, for 24 and or 72 h. The antimicrobial effects were determined according to the number of viable cells in the retrieved suspension. Characterization of silver nanoparticles was carried out based on UV–vis spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis. The specimens were characterized by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), field emission scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (FE-SEM/EDAX), and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). We successfully prepared Ag-SLN and identified the great excellent antimicrobial activity for E coli.
Silver Surface의 특성에 따른 Methyl Orange의 표면증강라만스펙트럼에 관한 연구

In this study, the experiments for surface enhancement of silver mirror substrates were done, where we checked the characteristics of silver surface made by Tollen's method. The surface enhancement of Methyl orange was analyzed by silver surfaces. We observed the Surface Enhanced Raman Spectra of Methyl orange. The assignments of the vibrational bands shown in SERS spectra are given based on both literature and the semi-empirical calculations at the PM3 methods. We deduced that the adsorption orientation of Methyl orange was little tilted parallel to the silver surfaces by using of the surface selection rules.

선창은 선박의 화물을 싣는 공간으로 구조적 문제로 인해 세정작업은 위험성이 크고 작업 난이도가 높은 작업이다. 이 연구에서는 전용 선창세정기의 설계 자료로 활용하기 위해 압력변화에 따른 분무특성 을 고찰한 결과 노즐 형상의 최적화를 위한 변수 요소를 확인 하였다.

화물창의 내부 세정은 압축공기 또는 고압수를 이용하고 있으나 전용 세정기를 이용하지 않은 경우 위험성이 높은 작업이다. 이 연구에서는 화물창 고압세척기를 개발하기 위해 분사노즐의 유동특성을 수치해석 기법을 적용하여 고찰하였다. 그 결과 입자의 크기는 영향은 크지 않았으며 공급압력이 높을수록 노즐부 끝단에서 유속과 분사거리는 지수함수로 증가하였다.
