It was recently reported that the SERS effect of the silver mirror substrate made by Tollen's method is much superior to that of other substrates. In this study, the experiments for comparison were done, where we checked the characteristics of silver mirror substrate made by different reductants, time interval and thermal treatments. We also surveyed correlations in substrates changes, the influence of SERS enhancement, and adsorbed orientation of phenol red.
슬라이드 밸브 급폐쇄에 따른 디스크 주위 비정상유동의 PIV계측에 관한 연구

In this research, we experimentally studied flow characteristic by applying PIV measuring techniques which could measure the point velocity of all flow field and measuring the unsteady velocity of surrounding disk generated in a short time. Time range of great velocity change following quick closing of the slide valve was within 0.1s and the cycle was presumed to be 0.12s as a result of comparison study between the result of point flow field and of existing pressure change. Also, surrounding disk flow inside the circular pipe was closed from the upper part and flow road was getting narrow and advanced to the lower part incidentally quickly there was a tendency that the size of the flow back velocity to the upper part immeadiately after the closure decreased to 4/120s and increased again. There was flow back velocity component in y/D=0.2 lower part by the influence of flow back to the upper part after complete closure and the vortex flow of 0.2D-size near y/D=0.7, x/D=-0.3 was observed.

자외선 공명 라만분광법을 이용한 Doxorubicin과 Adenine의 상호작용 연구

The interaction of the antitumour agent, doxorubicin, with adenine is investigated in an aqueous solution at a concentration of 10-3~10-4 with volume ratios of 1:2. A UV-resonance Raman spectroscopy and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy are used to determine the binding sites of doxorubicin to adenine and the structural variations of doxorubicin-adenine complexes in an aqueous solution. We identified that the possibilities of doxorubicin interacted with the N7 positions of adenine.

The interaction between polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) and silver cation has been studied in water at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. The PVP and PVP/Ag composite was observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and oxygen/carbon dioxide analyzer. We identified silver cations interacting with nonbonding electrons of the oxygen atom in the carbonyl group of PVP. It was shown that PVP/Ag formed stable composites.

단신 : 산화첨가반응의 수득률에 미치는 용매효과에 관한 이론적 연구

In present work, oxidative addition reaction of 1,3-cycleohexandion (1,3-CHD) with ethyl vinyl ether (EVE) was attempted utilizing Ag2CO3/celite (SC) reagent. In order to optimize reaction conditions, we surveyed several solvents for the production of dihydrofuran with the (SC) system. The yield of the acetonitrile (AN), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), benzene (BZ), and heptane (HT) are given 78, 40, 15, and 10%, respectively. Therefore, we studied the solvent effects on yields by using PM3 and ZINDO/1 parameter of semi-empirical method of HyperChem7.0 molecular modeling program.
임상 : 눈썹부 접근법을 이용한 전 두개저 종양의 수술

Objective£ºThis study was aimed to demonstrate the surgical outcome and pitfalls of the minimal invasive eyebrow surgery for anterior skull base tumors. Methods£ºBetween January 2001 and December 2004, thirteen patients were investigated. All 13 patients operated using an eyebrow incision and superior or superolateral orbital rim craniotomy were reviewed retrospectively. The operative technique and pitfalls were described. Results£ºThirteen patients consisted of 4 males and 9 females, with age ranged from 17 to 72. The histology revealed 9 meningiomas, 2 pituitary adenomas, 1 craniopharyngioma, and 1 recurrent malignant pineoblastoma. Gross total resection was achieved in 9 patients, subtotal 1, and 3 partial removal. Two patients underwent conventional radiation therapy and 1 patient radiosurgery after operation. Mean operation time was 3.9 hours and mean hospital stay was 19.7 days. The mean follow-up period was 25 months(range 8-56 months). There was no major complication in all cases except a pineoblastoma patient showing bleeding. Transfusion was not given in all patients except a pineoblastoma. Conclusion£ºThe surgeon`s operating space through this exposure was sufficiently ample to achieve the goals of the operation. The eyebrow surgery is both suitable and convenient for treating tumor in the anterior skull base and sellar region.

As the functions and roles of public libraries expand, it is time for qualitative growth. In order to improve the quality of public libraries, it is important to plan actual construction costs through systematic feasibility study. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to present the guideline of construction costs considering the size and regional characteristics according to the status role of the new public libraries. The construction costs are based on actual data. The results of the study are as follows. First, we derived the analysis framework according to the size and regional characteristics. The status role of the public libraries was considered theoretically. The size was classified according to status role of the public libraries. Regional characteristics were classified through literature review. Through this, an analysis framework was derived according to size and region. Second, the actual data on construction costs of the new public libraries were examined and analyzed. Basic factors, size, area, and construction costs were analyzed for 285 libraries nationwide that opened from 2010 to 2016. The data of 129 newly opened public libraries were classified. To present construction costs depending on price fluctuation, construction cost index was analyzed as of September 2016. Third, a guideline of construction costs for new public libraries was suggested. The construction cost per 1㎡ of building area was analyzed. By multiplying 116.70(p), the construction cost index, the construction cost per 1㎡ of total building area was calculated to be 2,472,350 won. When applying the research result, construction costs can be gained by adding construction cost index of the month.
Silver Sol과 Silver Mirror Substrate를 이용한 Fluarescein의 SERS 연구

It has been recently reported that the SERS (Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering) effect of the silver mirror substrate made by Tollen's method is much superior to that of other substrates. In this study, the experiments for comparison of surface enhancement of silver sol and silver mirror substrates were done, where we checked the characteristics of silver mirror substrate made by Tollen's method. The surface enhancement of fluorescein was analyzed by silver sol and silver mirror substrates. We observed the SERS spectra of fluorescein. The assignments of the vibrational bands shown in SERS spectra are given based on both literature and the semi-empirical calculations at the PM3 methods. The surface enhancement properties for fluorescein showed that the silver mirror was more superior to sliver sol substrates. Spectra of fluorescein revealed that fluorescein was adsorbed on silver surfaces by a common oxygen atom. According to the ‘surface selection rule’ the vibrations in the band intensities reflect the adsorption orientation of the molecule on to the surface of SERS substrates. Therefore, we deduced that the adsorption orientation of fluorescein was little tilted perpendicular to the silver surfaces by using of the surface selection rules.
