        정보텍스트를 활용한 초등 영어-음악 통합 수업의 효과에 대한 연구

        This study aims to investigate the impact of integrating music into English instruction using informational texts in a Korean primary EFL setting. Two research questions were proposed: 1) What are some of the effects derived from the change of the participants’ English learning when using informational texts about music? 2) What are some impacts observed in English-music integrated lessons from the perspective of participants’ recognition of integrated learning and extending music knowledge? To find the answers to the research questions, the data were collected from twenty 6th grade students in a primary school through a variety of methods and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The study yielded two major results. First, the students experienced different ways of learning English. For example, they started to learn new words using techniques such as inferencing and categorizing through the contexts of informational texts and improved vocabulary abilities. They also learned how to integrate other language skills such as speaking and writing based on reading informational texts. Second, the learners recognized the effects of integrating music as well as other subjects into English classes. Additionally, they expanded their musical knowledge by learning musical instruments, genres, and types of performance by linking the musical informational texts with their prior knowledge. Some implications are suggested based on the results.

        기계학습을 이용한 보행환경 정성적 평가에 영향을 미치는 거리영상 특성분석

        보행은 녹색교통수단의 하나로 지속 가능한 도시로의 전환에 매우 중요하다. 또한 걷기 좋은 보행환경은 지역민의 건강증진에도 긍정적 효과를 나타냄이 확인되면서 세계 많은 도시들이 친환경적이고 사람중심의 보행환경 조성을 도시 계획에 있어 최우선 아젠더로 추진하고 있다. 보행환경의 중요성이 확대되면서, 보행환경을 구성하는 물리적 구성요소를 파악하기 위한 연구와 함께, 사람들이 걷기 좋다고 판단하는 보행환경이 어떤 것인지를 파악하고자 하는 연구도 이루어졌다. 정성적 보행환경을 분석하기 위한 방법으로 기존에는 주민이나 전문가를 통한 설문조사가 주를 이루면서 대표성의 한계를 보이고 있었지만, 최근 고해상도의 거리영상과 딥러닝 기술의 발전은 거리영상에 대한 쌍체비교 데이터를 훈련셋으로 하여 가로단위의 상세한 정성적 보행환경 평가점수 획득을 가능하게 하고 있다. 하지만 딥러닝 기술에 기반한 정성적 보행환경 평가 점수 예측은 왜 이러한 평가점수를 얻게 되었는지에 대한 해답을 제공하는데 한계가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 거리영상을 기반으로 사람들이 걷기 좋다고 느끼는 보행환경에 영향을 미치는 도시경관의 특성을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 거리영상의 정성적 보행환경 점수를 종속변수로, 거리영상의 시멘틱 세그먼테이션 비율 값을 독립변수로 하여 다양한 기계학습 모델을 실험하였다. 실험 결과 서포트 벡터 머신 회귀식이 가장 정확도가 높았고, 정성적 보행환경 점수를 예측함에 있어 도로와 보행로, 건물, 나무, 하늘 등의 순으로 객체 중요도가 도출되었다. 보행로(sidewalk), 가로등(streetlight), 길(road), 잔디(grass), 나무(tree) 등은 세그먼테이션 값이 높을수록 정성적 보행환경 평가를 높게 만들며, 쓰레기통(ashcan), 산(mountain), 트럭(truck), 담벼락(wall) 등은 세그먼테이션 값이 높을수록 평가점수를 낮게 만듦을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 기계학습모델을 통해 보행환경에 대한 정성적 평가에 영향을 주는 중요 객체와 객체의 방향성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 딥러닝 모델을 통해 예측한 보행환경 정성평가 점수를 일부 설명 가능하게 하였다는 점에 의의가 있다. Walking, one of the green modes of transportation, is very important for the transition to a sustainable city. In addition, as it has been confirmed that a pleasant walking environment has a positive effect on health of local residents, many cities around the world are promoting the creation of an eco-friendly and people-centered walking environment as the top agenda in urban planning. As the awareness of the importance of the walking environment has increased, many studies have been conducted to identify the physical components that constitute the walking environment and to find out what kind of walking environment people consider good for walking. Existing methods for analyzing the qualitative walking environment based on surveys targeting residents or experts showed limitations in their representativeness. On the other hand, the recent development of high-resolution street view images and deep learning technology makes it possible to obtain detailed perceived walkability scores by using paired comparison data for street view images as a training set. However, perceived walkability score prediction based on deep learning technology has limitations in providing an answer to why such evaluation score was obtained. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the urban landscape that affect the perceived walkability based on street view images. In this study, we tested various machine learning models with the perceived walkability score of the street image as the dependent variable and the semantic segmentation ratio value of the street view image as the independent variable. According to our study, the regression equation of the support vector machine was the most accurate. And in predicting the perceived walkability score, the importance of the object was in the order of roads, sidewalks, buildings, trees, and the sky. Our study showed that the higher the segmentation value, the higher the perceived walkability score for sidewalk, streetlight, road, grass, and tree. On the contrary, the higher the segmentation value, the lower the score for ashcans, mountains, trucks, and walls. This study is meaningful in that it was possible to identify important objects and their direction that affect the evaluation of the walking environment through the machine learning model, and to partially explain the perceived walkability score predicted by the deep learning model.

      • 지리정보 통합을 위한 하이브리드 스키마 매칭 방법

        네이버, 다음, 구글 등의 웹 상에서 제공하는 지도 서비스와 KML, GML, GeoRSS와 같은 기술들을 이용하여 하나의 위치 정보로 통합한 지리정보를 사용자에게 제공해 줄 수 있는 연구들은 현재까지 활발히 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 이러한 연구들은 위치 정보만 통하여 줄 뿐 의미 정보까지 통합하여 사용자들에게 다양한 정보들을 제공해주지 못한다. 이 논문에서는 KML, GML, GeoRSS 등으로 표현된 풍부한 지리정보들을 통합하여 웹 기반 지도 서비스에 제공해주는 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 지리정보들의 스키마 통합을 위해 어댑터 기반 의미 처리 방법과 정적/동적 의미 관리 기반 접근 방법을 혼합한 하이브리드 스키마 매칭(Hybrid Schema Matching, HSM) 방법을 제안하고, 제안 시스템의 평가를 위해 스키마 매칭을 위한 4가지 접근 방법과 비교 평가를 수행한다. 평가의 결과로 제안 시스템은 의미 해석에 대한 신뢰성이 보장되고 시스템 구축 비용과 데이터 통합 비용이 상대적으로 낮다는 특징을 지닌다.

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to survey the visitation conditions in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and to evaluate parents’ anxiety and nurses’ attitude about the open visitation policy. Methods: One group pre-posttest design was used. After the approval of the institutional review board was obtained, 22 parents and 58 nurses in the NICU participated in the survey between January and February in 2014.The visitation conditions were the number of patients who had visitors in the NICU for a whole day, total visitation hours, mean visitation hours and total number of visitation in a day. Before and after the open visitations were applied, the anxiety level of the patients and attitudes of the nurses were measured. Results: After the open visitation, all visitation conditions significantly increased. Parents’ anxiety score also significantly decreased after experiencing the open visitation (p=.023). However, nurses’ attitude was not different (p=.851). Conclusion: The open visitation can relive parents’ anxiety in the NICU but still nurses have some conflicts for applying the open visitation. It is necessary to prepare environmental infrastructure and educate nurses and parents to activate the open visitation in the NICU.

        천식환자가구를 통해 알아본 축축함 지수와 실내공기질의 연관성

        Dampness deteriorates indoor air quality. This study aims at finding out the relationship between dampness score and levels of common indoor air quality indicators including CO₂, PM2.5, temperature, relative humidity and concentrations of indoor fungi. A survey was used to develop a dampness score and the indoor air quality was measured using a real-time indoor air quality sensing monitor (ESCORT, South Korea) and a collector for fungi measurement (KAS-110, Kemik Corporation, Seongnam, SouthKorea) among asthmatics’ home. A statistical package was used to evaluate the relationship between dampness score and indoor air quality variables. The spearman correlation coefficient between the dampness score and carbon dioxide was .642 indicating a strong correlation (p<.05). A significant correlation between the dampness score and the concentration of mold in the bedroom was also found ( .315, p<.05). The correlation coefficient between the dampness score and the relative humidity was .40 (p<.05). The correlation coefficients between the dampness score and PM2.5 or temperature were .02 or .014, respectively. This study found that dampness score was mainly determined by indoor CO₂, fungi concentration and relative humidity.

        생애주기에 따른 갈색거저리의 식품성분 변화

        Purpose: This study was aimed to compare the nutritional content of the life stages of Tenebrio molitor. Methods: Nutritional element analysis comprised 12 minerals, 18 amino acids, 4 vitamins, and 12 fatty acids in larval, pupal, and adult stages. Nutritional element content was expressed as a percentage of 100 g of sample and determined in raw and freeze-dried samples to assess the food value of the insect. Results: Moisture, crude protein, and crude fat contents in raw samples were 63.5%, 23.19%, and 3.96%, respectively. Moisture content was significantly higher in the adult stage than in larval and pupal stages, whereas crude fat and crude ash contents were lower. Mineral composition of the mealworm showed K, P, and Mg in decreasing order of content, with no differences among life stages. Total amino acid content increased from adult, pupal to larval stages, in order with each stage's growth, without difference in amino acid composition. Seventy-six to 78% of total fatty acid corresponded to unsaturated fatty acids, with oleic acid as the most abundant. In addition, fatty acid content was high in the adult stage, and clear differences were observed between life stages. Finally, vitamins B1 and B3 showed similar content between life stages, whereas vitamin B2 showed a higher content the adult than larval and pupal stages. A higher folate content was observed in pupal and adult stages than in the larval stage. Although freeze-dried samples showed a higher nutritional content than raw samples, both samples were similar in composition and content between life stages, suggesting the suitability of freeze-dried samples for use as food materials. Conclusion: These results may provide a basis for more diversified industrial applications of the Tenebrio molitor.

        열처리방법에 따른 한지형 및 난지형 마늘의 영양성분 변화

        Purpose: To provide the public with nutritional information on consumption types of garlic, we evaluated the influence of heat treatment method on the nutritional contents of different species of garlic. Methods: We determined the content of general components, minerals, vitamins, and fatty acids in each species of garlic produced in Seosan and Goheung by heating with blanching or microwave roasting. Results: The results of the two-way analysis of variance test indicated that the species in particular, as well as method of heat treatment and interaction, had an influence on nutritional content. The moisture and crude fat content was higher in Southern type garlic than in Northern type garlic, while crude proteins, crude ash, and dietary fibers were more abundant in Northern type garlic than in Southern type garlic. With regard to the total mineral content, K, P, Mg, and Ca were the main components in Northern type garlic and Southern type garlic. Moreover, unsaturated fatty acids showed high levels in both Northern type garlic and Southern type garlic, with more abundant linoleic acid. Overall, Northern type garlic showed a higher content of minerals and fatty acids, while more vitamin B was present in Southern type garlic. In addition, the results indicated that the content of general components (dietary fiber excluded) was increased in both Northern type garlic and Southern type garlic upon heat treatment. Blanching resulted in increased mineral and fatty acid content in Southern type garlic and decreased content in Northern type garlic, indicative of species differences; conversely, microwave roasting contributed to an increase in the content in both Northern type garlic and Southern type garlic. Conclusion: The nutritional content of garlic is more dependent on species than the cooking method, and grilling is associated with less nutrient loss than blanching.
