        가상현실 운동프로그램이 여성노인의 근활성도와 균형능력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of an exercise program using a virtual reality game and a gait exercise program using a treadmill on % maximum voluntary isometric contraction (%MVIC) and static and dynamic balancing capabilities. Methods: A total of 26 elderly women were included in the study. 13 women were assigned to an exercise program using a virtual reality game, and 13 to a gait exercise program using a treadmill. The subjects performed the exercise for 40 min per session, three sessions per week, for eight weeks. Results: The %MVIC of the vastus medialis was significantly increased from $28.91{\pm}2.03%$ to $32.98{\pm}2.6%$ in the virtual reality game exercise group (p<0.00). The %MVIC of the vastus lateralis was significantly increased from $27.17{\pm}1.93%$ to $31.50{\pm}2.18%$ (p<0.00) in the gait exercise program group. The whole path length with both feet on the floor and eyes open was significantly decreased from $1570.92{\pm}820.6mm$ to $1343.62{\pm}242.41mm$ (p<0.00). The whole path length with both feet on the floor and eyes closed was significantly decreased from $1819.85{\pm}361.14mm$ to $1581.05{\pm}285.11mm$ (p<0.00). The length of a functional reach was significantly increased from $25.2{\pm}4.23cm$ to $27.68{\pm}4.04cm$ (p<0.00). Conclusion: The exercise program using a virtual reality game is effective for improving the %MVIC and static and dynamic balancing capabilities in elderly women aged 65 years and more.

      • Turfgrass Responses to Water Deficit: A Review

        Drought is a major limiting factor in turfgrass management. Turfgrass responses to water deficit depend on the amount and the rate of water loss as well as the duration of the stress condition. This review paper was designed to understand responses such as photosynthesis, canopy spectral reflectance, plant cell, root, hormone and protein alteration when turfgrass got drought stress. Furthermore, mechanisms to recover from drought conditions were reviewed in detail. However, there are still many questions regarding plant adaptation to water deficit. It is not clear that the mechanism by which plants detect water deficit and transfer that signal into adaptive responses. Turfgrass research should focus on the best management practices such as how to enhance the ability of self-defense mechanism through understanding plant responses by environmental stress. 잔디가 건조 스트레스를 받은 상태에서 잔디의 생리학적 메커니즘과 건조 상태에서 식물이 회복하는 생리학적 메커니즘을 보다 깊이 이해하고자 한다. 증산작용과 Stomatal Conductance의 상호 관계로 인한 광합성량의 변화, 식물 세포 내부의 변화, 삼투압 조절능력의 변화, 호르몬의 변화, 단백질 변성 등의 생리학적 반응들을 이해하고 건조 스트레스 상태에서 회복하는데 세포내부의 적응 과정, 뿌리의 반응과 같은 생리학적인 측면에 대해 이해하고 건조 스트레스 상태에서 엽록소가 흡수하고 반사하는 Spectral Reflectance의 변화를 이해하고자 한다. 하지만 건조스트레스로 인한 식물의 생리학적 메커니즘에는 아직 많은 의문점을 가지고 있으며 향 후 외부환경 스트레스에 의한 식물의 Self-defense 메커니즘을 더욱 깊게 이해하여 보다 수준 높은 관리기법들을 연구하는데 초점을 맞추어야 할 것이다.

      • Sensor-based Technology for Assessing Drought Stress in Two Warm-Season Turfgrasses

        본 연구는 토양 수분함량을 즉시 파악할 수 있는 Time Domain Radiometer(TDR)과 식물의 광합성 시 잎에서 반사되는 Reflectance를 통하여 식물의 상태를 파악할 수 있는 Multi-spectral radiometer(MSR)를 사용하여 난지형 잔디인 'Sea Isle 1' Seashore paspalum 과 'Floratam' St. Augustinegrass를 대상으로 토양수분함량과 Reflectance와의 상관관계를 파악하고자 시작하였다. 본 연구를 통해 토양 수분함량이 660, 694 wavelengths와 NDVI, LAI, stress index에서 높은 상관관계를 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이는 Sensor-based technology가 잔디의 수분요구 시점을 미리 파악할 수 있는 기술의 기초 자료로서 활용될 수 있으며 여러 다른 Sensor-based technology를 이용한 연구로 확대될 수 있을 것이다. This study was designed to determine what sensor-based technologies might reliably and accurately predict irrigation scheduling needs of warm-season turfgrass. 'Floratam' St. Augustinegrass[Stenotaphrum secundatum(Walt.) Kuntze] and 'Sea Isle I' seashore paspalum(Paspalum vaginatum Swartz) were established in tubs in the Envirotron Turfgrass Research Laboratory in Gainesville, FL in the spring of 2002. Each grass was subjected to repeated dry-down cycles where irrigation was withheld. Sensor-based data were collected and these evaluations were used to determine if irrigation scheduling could be determined based on plant response during dry-down. Results indicated that reflectance indices($P{\le}0.001$) and soil moisture($P{\le}0.0001$) throughout the dry-down cycle can predict the need for irrigation scheduling as turf quality declined below acceptable levels.

        고차 등매개요소에서 내부절점의 위치와 해의 안정성 연구

        Higher order isoparametric elements are usually used in the finite element analysis because they can represent easily the geometric shape of a complex structure ad can improve the solution quality. When these elements are used, the position of internal nodes affects greatly on the solution accuracy. Decreasing of the accuracy related to the position of internal nodes is due to non-conformal mapping often results in an unstable Jacobian value. This paper, in order to remove this difficulty, suggests a modified shape function which can establish conformal mapping between two coordinate systems. Numerical experiments with the proposed shape function show that a stable solution can be obtained without respect to the position of internal nodes, and offer convenience that one can take arbitrarily the position of internal nodes considering only the geometric shape of element boundaries.

        근막이완술이 경추성 두통환자의 뇌혈류와 통증수준에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate a possible role for cranial artery velocity in cervicogenic headache. Methods: We studied 13 patients with cervicogenic headaches (M=9, F=4, age=$24.50{\pm}3.50\;y$) these were compared to 20 normal subjects (M=10, F=10, age=$23.30{\pm}2.90\;y$). Cervicogenic headache patients were divided into two groups (a myofascial relaxation group, a placebo group). Pain levels were measured using a visual analog scale (VAS). Transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound recordings were used to measure blood flow velocity in the cranial artery. Results: Cervicogenic headache patients exhibited a significantly lower blood flow velocity in the middle cerebral artery. The patients who received an intervention had a significantly higher blood flow velocity in the left middle cerebral artery, right vertebral artery and basilar artery. Compared to the placebo group, the myofascial relaxation group exhibited a significantly decreased level of pain. Conclusion: Cervicogenic headache is pain referred to the head from a source in the cervical spine. Manual therapy affect to cervical spine and soft tissue as well as the passage of these vessels and nerves to recover because it is thought to be able to help.

        knee injuries are among the most common problems confronting patients, physical therapist and physicians. since the bony structure provides little stability, the soft tissues are required to withstand high forces, often resulting in tissue overload and injury immobilization of the knee in the presence of a hemarthrosis usually leads to proliferation of intraarticular connective tissue adhesions and pint fibrosis. the physical basis of treating scar tissue is early controlled motion. the management of the knee with increased instability is to strengthening the muscles to properly treat an soft tissue injuries, physical therapist should know about the anatomic structures and biomechanical function of the knee joint, in this review article, we discuss the physiologic properties of soft tissue, biomechanical observation in fibrous connective tissue, managing soft tissue contractures, principles in treating scar tissue and treatment of the knee with increased instability.

        Minority report; Pseudomonas aeruginosa의 정족수 인식(쿼럼 센싱) 신호물질로써의 Diketopiperazines과 Pyocyanin

        Pseudomonas aeruginosa는 기회 감염성 병원균으로, Cystic fibrosis, 미생물 감염성 각막염,화상 부위 2차 감염 등의 다양한 질병을 초래한다. 정족수 인식(쿼럼 센싱)이라고도 알려져 있는 세포간 신호전달 기전이 이러한 감염에서 중요한 역할을 하기 때문에 P. aeruginosa의 정족수 인식 시스템들이 집중적으로 연구되어 왔다. P. aeruginosa의 정족수 인식 시스템들을 소개하는 많은 문헌들이 주로 두 개의 주요 acyl-homoserine lactone (AHL) 계열 정족수 신호물질들인 N-3-oxododecanoyl homoserine lactone (3OC12)과 N-butanoyl homoserine lactone (C4)에 초점을 맞추어 설명하고 있지만, 실제로는 몇 가지 새로운 신호물질들이 발견되어져 왔고, 그들이 P. aeruginosa의 병독성과 신호전달에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있음이 제안되어져 왔다. 그 중 하나가 PQS(Pseudomonas quinolone signal; 2-heptyl-3-hydroxy-4-quinolone)인데, 이 물질은 현재 P. aeruginosa의 잘 규명된 주요 신호물질로 인식되고 있다. 이에 더하여, 최근의 연구들은 또 다른 가능성 있는 P. aeruginosa신호물질들을 제안해 왔는데, diketopiperazines (DKPs)과 pyocyanin이 그들이다. DKPs는 환형 dipeptide로써 이를 구성하는 아미노산의 종류에 따라 다양한 구조를 가진다. P. aeruginosa의 배양액에서 검출된 몇몇 DKPs들이 기존에는 AHL에만 특이적으로 반응한다고 알려졌던 Vibrio 랸?N갸 LuxR biosensor를 활성화 시킬 수 있다는 것이 발견되어 새로운 신호물질로 제안되었다. Pyocyanin (1-hydroxy-5-methyl-phenazine)은 P. aeruginosa가 생산하는 여러 phenazine 화합물들 중의 하나로써, 특징적인 청록색을 띄는 산화-환원 활성물질이다. 이 물질도 정체 성장기 동안 일부 정족수 인식의 조절을 받는 유전자들의 발현을 증가시키는 최종 신호 인자로 최근 제안되었으며, 그 신호는 또 다른 전사 조절 인자인 SoxR에 의해 매개된다고 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 P. aeruginosa에서 새롭게 발견, 제안되고 있는 이들 신호 전달 물질들에 대해 자세히 다루어 보기로 한다. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic human pathogen, causing a wide variety of infections including cystic fibrosis, microbial keratitis, and burn wound infections. The cell-to-cell signaling mechanism known as quorum sensing (QS) plays a key role in these infections and the QS systems of P. aeruginosa have been most intensively studied. While many literatures that introduce the QS systems of P. aeruginosa have mostly focused on two major acyl-homo serine lactone (acyl-HSL) QS signals, N-3-oxododecanoyl homoserine lactone (3OC12) and N-butanoyl homoserine lactone (C4), several new signal molecules have been discovered and suggested for their significant roles in signaling and virulence of P. aeruginosa. One of them is PQS (Pseudomonas quinolone signal; 2-heptyl-3-hydroxy-4-quinolone), which is now considered as a well-characterized major signal meolecule of P. aeruginosa. In addition, recent researches have also suggested some more putative signal molecules of P. aeruginosa, which are diketopiperazines (DKPs) and pyocyanin. DKPs are cyclic dipeptides and structurally diverse depending on what amino acids are involved in composition. Some DKPs from the culture supernatant of P. aeruginosa are suggested as new diffusible signal molecules, based on their ability to activate Vibrio fischeri LuxR biosensors that are previously considered specific for acyl-HSLs. Pyocyanin (1-hydroxy-5-methyl-phenazine), one of phenazine derivatives produced by P. aeruginosa is a characteristic blue-green pigment and redox-active compound. This has been recently suggested as a terminal signaling factor to upregulate some QS-controlled genes during stationary phase under the mediation of a transcription factor, SoxR. Here, details about these newly emerging signaling molecules of P. aeruginosa are discussed.

        논문(論文) : 도은(陶隱) 이숭인(李崇仁)의 시문학(詩文學) 연구(硏究)

        본 논문은 麗末 三隱의 한 사람인 陶隱 李崇仁(1347∼1392)의 詩文學의 특징과 文學史的 意義를 糾明하기 위하여 연구를 진행하였다. 그는 당대를 대표하던 碩學들과 性理學을 硏究 · 敎授하여 성리학을 일으키는 데 앞장섰고, 道學家 특히 宋代 朱子의 영향을 받아 文道合一의 문학의식을 가지고 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 詩世界에서는 儒者的 삶의 追求와 節義, 佛敎에 대한 理解와 批判, 理想과 現實에의 葛藤과 挫折, 山水에서의 靜觀과 安身立命으로 나누어 당대를 대표하였던 문인으로서의 면모를 살펴보았다. 첫째, 儒者的 삶의 追求와 節義에서는 성리학적 사상에 입각하여 道學者로서 大義名分을 중시하고, 기울어가는 고려를 위해 끝까지 節義를 지키고자 노력했던 그의 삶의 모습을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 佛敎에 대한 理解와 批判에서는 당시 고려 말 문인들이 그러했던 것처럼 도은 또한 儒學 뿐 만 아니라 佛敎에도 상당한 관심을 가져 儒와 佛에 모두 도통하였음을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 그는 어디까지나 유자로서 불교를 이해하였으며, 불교의 폐해에 대해서는 과감히 지적하고 비판하는 崇儒排佛의 입장을 취하였다. 셋째, 理想과 現實에의 葛藤과 挫折에서는 자신이 꿈꾸던 이상과 현실에서의 乖離를 통해 彷徨하고 葛藤하며, 결국 挫折로 이어지는 불우했던 삶의 모습을 조명해 보았다. 넷째, 山水에서의 靜觀과 安身立命에서는 혼탁한 현실에서 벗어나기 위한 방법으로써 산수에 묻혀 마음의 안정을 찾고, 전원생활에서 觀照하는 가운데 安身立命하려는 자세를 엿볼 수 있었다. 이러한 소박한 삶을 통해 淸新하면서 平淡, 自然과 韻味가 감도는 그만의 독특한 詩의 風格을 이해할 수 있었다. 陶隱 李崇仁은 고려 말 국내외적으로 혼란했던 시기에 成均館 학관으로서 性理學 보급에 힘썼고, 기울어가는 고려를 위하여 끝까지 자신의 의지를 굽히지 않았던 인물이었다. 또한 文人으로서도 인정을 받아 淸新, 平淡한 풍격을 가지고 자신 만의 작품세계를 이룩하였다. 이러한 연구는 陶隱의 詩文學의 특징과 文學史的 意義를 규명할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 麗末 鮮初의 문학을 이해하는 데에도 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다. In this essay, To the Lee Soong-in`s special character of poem literature and his impact on history of literature the research was processed in the order of periodical background and life, his relationships and literature concept, his concept of poem. his impact on history of literature. First of all, in the periodical background and life the rapidly changing situation the late Kyo-rue empire when Do-eun lived was examined. In his life, we could understand that he could be a author and scholar by knowing his life. In his relationships and literature concept, the teachers and friends of him who helped his growth in the literature and education were analyzed. His literature concept which was formed by this various relationships. He leaded to set the Sung Confucianism right with the scholars who could represent the that generation. And with the influence of moralist especially Ju-ja of Song empire she had literature concept of unity of literature and Confucianism. In his concept of poem we divided his thoughts into his pursuit for idle capital life and fidelity to his principle, his understanding and critics on Buddhism, his mental conflict and discouragement between ideal and reality, his serene contemplation in nature and his belief in the fate to analyze. First, In his pursuti for idle capital life and fidelity to his principle, we could see his life who struggle for collapsing Kyo-rye as a moralist who think that the trust is the most important. Second, In his understanding and critics on Buddhism, as other scholars in that time did we could know that he also had big interest in Buddhism so he has both intelligent in Buddhism and Confucianism. However, he understanded the Buddhism as a Confucian He criticized the abuse of Buddhism which he stood as a position of encourage Confucianism and preventing Buddhism. Third, In his mental conflict and discouragement between ideal and reality, we examined his unfortunate life which was in disagreement and wandering in the disagreement between ideal and reality and eventually concluded as discouragement. Forth, in his serene contemplation in nature and his belief in the fate, the ways for escaping himself from the tainted reality he went to the nature to calm himself. In his rural life we can see his struggle for letting himself in the flow of fate. Through this simple life his distinctive poems were understanded. Lastly, In the his impact on history of literature, his special points in poem was analyzed with latter generation`s evaluation of him. And his impact on history of literature and reputation was closely looked. Do-eun Lee Soong-in tried to supply Sung Confucianism in the time of chaos nationally and internationally at the end of Kyo-rye as a scholars of Sung-Kyoun kwan. He was a moralist who didn`t give up his volition for collapsing Kyo-rye. Also he was acknowledged as a author we made his own creation with his mind of simplicity and freshness. This research is not only for finding the special features of Do-eun`s literature but also I could be helpful to understand Yeo mal Sun-cho`s literature.

        질문의 적정 조건을 위반하는 질문문의 담화 상황

        질문문은 일반적으로 질문 화행을 수행하는데 반드시 그런 것만은 아니다. 우리가 일반적으로 알고 있듯 `특수 의문문`이라고 알고 있는 것이 단적인 예이다. 여기서 다루는 것들은 질문의 적정 조건을 통하여 질문문이 질문 화행을 수행하지 못하는 경우를 구체화하였다. 그 결과 질문의 적정 조건 가운데 명재 내용 조건을 제외한 나머지 `예비 조건, 성실 조건, 본질 조건`을 만족하지 못했을 때 질문 화행이 아닌 다른 화행들을 수행하는 간접 화행으로 사용되었음을 밝히고자 하였다.
