최근의 위치 측위 기술과 무선 통신 기술의 발전에 따라 위치 기반 서비스에 대한 관심이 크게 증가하고 있다. 기존의 단일 노드 기반 시스템으로는 처리하기 힘든 휴대폰 사용자와 같은 대용량의 객체를 처리하기 위해 제시된 클러스터 기반 분산 컴퓨팅 구조로 GALIS 아키텍처가 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 제시한 프로토타입은 그동안 구현된 기존 GALIS 프로토타입보다 개선된 구조로 SLDS에서 Global Cell_ID를 적용하여 노드의 분할 합병 시 발생할 수 있는 처리 비용을 감소시켰다. 또한 LLDS에서는 필터링을 통해 손실될 수 있는 위치 데이타 정보를 보다 신뢰할 수 있는 데이타로 만들기 위한 기능을 추가하여 질의 시 발생할 수 있는 여러 가지 상황을 대비할 수 있게 되었다.
안드로이드 웹 브라우저의 EXT4에 대한 파일시스템의 접근 특성 분석

플래시 저장장치는 순차 쓰기패턴에 높은 성능을 보이고, 랜덤 쓰기패턴에 낮은 성능을 보인다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 실제 응용 프로그램은 동작 방식에 따라 복합적인 패턴을 보일 수 있다. 본 논문은 대표적인 모바일 응용으로서 웹 브라우저 응용의 파일시스템 접근 특성을 정량적으로 분석하고자 한다. 최근에 안드로이드 스마트 폰에 채택된 Ext4 파일시스템을 기준으로 웹 브라우저 응용의 파일시스템 요청들을 성능개선점을 지적하고자 한다.
Dual-Loop EGR을 적용한 승용 디젤 엔진의 NO<SUB>x</SUB> 배출 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

Dual Loop-EGR is composed of High Pressure Loop(HPL) EGR and Low Pressure Loop(LPL) EGR. While HPL-EGR has difficulties in supplying sufficient amount of EGR, LPL-EGR facilitates the supply of a large amount of EGR using pressure difference by providing recirculated exhaust as an inhaled gas from the rear part of exhaust aftertreatment device such as DPF. Because the temperature of the rear part of DPF is lower than the temperature of the front part of turbine, the size of EGR Cooler can be made with a smaller size. On the other hand, because LPL-EGR has low response rate due to an extended recirculation pipe length, it is hard to be applied to light duty diesel engine which is mainly used in excessive driving condition. Therefore, the basic concept of Dual-Loop EGR is to achieve high response rate and high EGR rate according to driving condition by using HPL-EGR which has high response rate in speed changing section and LPL-EGR which has low response rate in constant speed section. In this research, Dual Loop-EGR system was constructed by adding LPL-EGR and back pressure device to HPL-EGR-applied light duty diesel engine. NOx displacement was measured after each of HPL, LPL-EGR and Dual Loop-EGR was applied in certain revolutions and loading conditions. Optimal fraction of Dual Loop-EGR was analyzed during this procedure. Also, general research about Dual Loop-EGR was performed by measuring changes in the amount of fuel consumed.

The growing prices and performance of cameras have increased demand for multi-camera systems, which have advantages such as greater accuracy and a wider field-of-view than single cameras. For this reason, research on multi-camera systems has been becoming more popular. This paper focuses on the optimal positioning problem, which considers where the cameras should be located in the interest area and how they should be posed at those points to minimize costs and maximize coverage when implementing a multi-camera system. This paper proposes an optimal positioning algorithm based on ant-colony intelligence. This algorithm is a specialized algorithm for the positioning of multi-camera systems and works with three types of pheromones, unlike conventional ant colony optimization algorithms. This paper also defines the optimal positioning problem as a multi-objective optimization problem. Finally, this paper validates the proposed algorithm through an experiment with a real space map.

A global air pollution has been increased, environmental organizations of each countries have made more strict regulation. In such a situation, the most effective way of reducing air pollutants which from automotive is Three-way catalytic converters (TWCs). It have been successfully used for the control and the suppression of automotive emissions by converting basic air pollutants like CO, CxHy and NOx to their inactive products CO2, N2 and H2O. EPA required a verification of their TWCs with an enforced emission regulation. A purpose of EPA and other durability test is to verify the after treatment system"s function during warranty period. A car manufacturer must qualify the durability test of exhaust gas after treatment system. Consequently, the durability test is one of important certification course when a car manufacturer developing a new car. The main object of this research is to comprehend by demonstrating the EPA durability procedure. This experimental data will be used to investigate the thermal ageing characteristics of The EPA durability procedure.
요청한 작업 경로에 따른 매니퓰레이터의 기구학적 변수 선정을 위한 군집 지능 기반 최적 설계

Robots are widely utilized in many fields, and various demands need customized robots. This study proposes an optimal design method based on swarm intelligence for selecting the kinematic parameter of a manipulator according to the task space trajectory desired by the user. The optimal design method is dealt with herein as an optimization problem. This study is based on swarm intelligence-based optimization algorithms (i.e., ant colony optimization (ACO) and particle swarm optimization algorithms) to determine the optimal kinematic parameters of the manipulator. The former is used to select the optimal kinematic parameter values, whereas the latter is utilized to solve the inverse kinematic problem when the ACO determines the parameter values. This study solves a design problem with the PUMA 560 when the desired task space trajectory is given and discusses its results in the simulation part to verify the performance of the proposed design.
