MPEG-4 SNHC FBA(face and body animation) 그룹에서는 인간의 얼굴과 몸체를 가상환경 안에 구현하고 애니메이션 시킴으로써 저 비트율로 다자간 통신이 가능한 MPEG-4 시스템 표준화를 진행하고 있다. MPEG-4 첫 번째 version 의 표준안에서는 얼굴 객체만을 대상으로 그 표준화가 진행중에 있으며 저 비트율 부호화를 위해 한정된 FDP(face definition parameter), FAP(face animation parameter) 등을 정의하고 각 parameter의 전송만으로 얼굴객체의 구현과애니메이션을 가능하도록 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-4 SNHC에 기반하여 얼굴 객체를 가상환경에서 생성하고 애니메이션 하는 기술을 VRML과 OpenGL을 이용하여 컴퓨터 그래픽으로 구현하였다.

The decomposition of 50 pesticides present in an aqueous solution using γ-irradiationfrom a 60Co gamma-ray source was investigated using laboratory-scale experiment. The rates ofdecomposition were determined using a gas chromatography-electron capture detector (GC-ECD),high-performance liquid chromatography-photo diode array detector (HPLC-PDA), and HPLCfluorescencedetector (FLD). When the initial concentration of pesticides was 10 ppm, and the radiationdose was 2, 5, 10, 20, and 30 kGy, respectively, 14 pesticide samples showed high removalrates (¤50%) at absorbed doses of more than 10 kGy. With the exception of procymidone, theywere all completely removed at a 30 kGy irradiation dose. These results provide fundamental dataon the reactivity between gamma-irradiation and pesticides in an aqueous solution. Further, anevaluation of the toxicity of radiolytic intermediate products is required.

The capsaicinoids of Korean red peppers were varied with cultivars from 30 mg% to 257mg%, highest in ˝Chungyang˝and medium in ˝Dabock˝ which is most popular to Korean and major capsicinoids were capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin which are 88.5-94.8% of total capsaicinoids in red peppers. The capsaicinoids of red pepper were distributed 46% in placenta and septum and remainder were in pericarp, seed and stem in the order. The changes in capsaicinoids content of red peppers was not significant during hot-air drying at 65-75℃and sun drying. Fluorescent light was more destructive to capsaicinoids than incandescent light when red pepper powder was exposed to those lights. The larger amount of capsaicinoids was extracted with higher concentration of salt solution, but the water extractability was not affected by pH changes. During storage at 4,25,40℃ for 180 days, capsaicinoids content of red peppers was changed.
A Study on the Mirror Grinding for Mold of a Small Aspherical Lens

This paper deals with mirror grinding of a small-sized aspherical lens by a resin bonded diamond spherical wheel. Up to now, a spherical lens has been used for the lens of the optical communication optical part. However, recently, aspherical optical parts are mainly used in order to attempt the improvement in image quality and miniaturization of the optical device. It is possible to manufacture the aspherical lens which is presently being used in optical instrument through ultra-precision machining technology. Also, to realize compactness, efforts are being made to produce a micro aspherical lens, for which the development of a high-precision, micro molding die is inevitable. Therefore, extensive research is being done on methods of producing a micro aspherical surface by high-precision grinding. In this paper, the spherical wheel was trued by cup-shaped truer and tool path was calculated by the radius of curvature of the wheel after truing and dressing. Then in the aspherical grinding experiment, WC material which is used as a molding die for the small-sized aspherical lens was ground. The results showed that a form accuracy of 0.1918㎛ P-V and a surface roughness of 0.064㎛ Rmax could be achieved.
