This study aims to analyze operating performance of a micro gas turbine with the aid of detailed measurements of various system parameters. In addition to embedded measurements, parameters such as exhaust temperatures, engine inlet temperatures and fuel flow rates are measured. Variations in measured data and estimated performance parameters are analyzed. Those data are processed to calculate losses along the power transmission line and the net gas turbine performance (power and efficiency based on the gas turbine shaft end) is isolated from the overall system performance. On the basis of the measured data, analytical approach is tried to estimate design characteristic and performance parameters such as component efficiencies and unmeasured temperatures.

This study aims at evaluation of component performance of a commercial micro gas turbine by detailed measurements of various system parameters. A test facility to measure performance of a micro gas turbine was set up. Performance parameters such as turbine exit temperature, exhaust gas temperature, engine inlet temperature, compressor discharge pressure and fuel flow rate were measured. Variations in measured data and estimated performance parameters were analyzed. In addition to overall engine performance, component characteristic parameters including the turbine inlet temperature, the compressor efficiency, the turbine efficiency, the recuperator effectiveness were estimated. Behaviors of the estimated characteristic parameters with operating condition change were examined.

Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power plant converts coal to syngas, which is mainly composed with hydrogen and carbon monoxide, by the gasification process and produces electric power by the gas and steam turbine combined cycle power plant. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the syngas to the performance of a gas turbine in a combined cycle power plant. For this purpose, a commercial gas turbine is selected and its performance characteristics are analyzed with syngas. It is found that different heating values of those fuels and chemical compositions in their combustion gases are the causes in the different performance characteristics. Also, Changing of turbine inlet Mass flow lead to change the turbine matching point, in the event the pressure ratio is changed.

Simple hepatic cysts are common benign liver lesions that usually have no malignant capability. They are generally asymptomatic and are often found incidentally by abdominal imaging procedures. Treatment becomes necessary, however, when huge hepatic cysts cause symptoms and develop complications, such as hemorrhage, adjacent organ damage, and infection. Several therapeutic options have been performed for symptomatic and huge cysts, including the aspiration of cystic fluid, infusion of various sclerosing agents, and surgical intervention. The optimal management of huge hepatic cysts is controversial and each option has its complications and limitations. This paper reports a case of a 66-year-old woman diagnosed with a simple hepatic cyst 2 years earlier, who was referred to hospital due to abdominal pain. The diagnosis was a huge hepatic cyst with symptoms by abdominal imaging studies. During the follow-up period, the huge cysts resolved spontaneously without treatment. In addition to natural gas, various gaseous fuels can be used as fuel in the combined cycle power plant. A typical example is the syngas produced by the gasification of coal. The gasification enables effective and environment friendly utilization of the coal that is the most abundant fossil fuel. When the fuel is converted from the natural gas to the syngas, the gas turbine operating condition and performance will be changed, because gas flow increases due to increased fuel flow and the gas property changes as well. Those factors affect the design performance of the bottoming cycle that increases the bottoming cycle power and combined cycle efficiency. Increasing hydrogen composition of the syngas increases the cycle performance only slightly. In this study, The design performance of the bottoming cycles based on natural gas and a typical syngas as well as pure hydrogen have been comparatively analysed.

For guarantee of the property of the devices and facilities needs Vibration protecting Technique and the Technique will be developed more and more. Magneto-Rheological damper is one of the nice devices for reducing of Vibration. In this paper magnetic properties of a MR-damper which is developed for reducing of vibration in display manufacture devices will be analysed at variation different air-gap length and current.
