Silica films were prepared on Si single crystal substrates by a sol-gel process without DMF using TEOS as a starting material. Films were fabricated by spin coating technique. For films having a composition of TEOS : HCI(1:0.05mol), gelation time, the thickness of films, the formation of cracks and the microstructure of the films were investigated as a function of the molar ratio of $CH_3OH and H_2O$. With 8mol $CH_3OH$, the longest gelation time was measured to be 640hr. The thickness of the coated films was decreased with increasing content of $CH_3OH$. The films were sintered at $500^{\circ}C$ for 1hr with a heating rate of $0.6^{\circ}C$/min. The coated films showed worm-like grains and partially cracked microstructures at an amount of $CH_3OH$ 2mol and 4mol. The addition of more than 8 mole of $CH_2OH$ resulted in crack-free silica films. This suggests that crack-free films can be fabricated by controlling the surface tension energy of the sol solutions without DMF.

The Naesabones(內賜本) are the books awarded to the organizations and the individuals by the Kings of Joseon(朝鮮) Dynasty. The organizations include the history archives[史庫], the government offices[官廳], the private academies[書院] and the county public schools[鄕校]. The individuals include the royal family members and the members of the cabinet. In Joseon Dynasty, the books were distributed to the government offices, the members of the cabinet, and the people who participated in printing that book. Also after the official ceremonies, the books were given as the rewards. The purpose of this study is to examine the bibliographical features of the naesabones - especially awarded to the individuals - now in Kyujanggak.

The Joseon Dynasty suffered a great loss from the Japan invasion of Korea in 1592. At that time so many precious books were plundered by Japanese Army. And that plundered books, now in Japan, include a lot of complete titles of the books were given by the Kings - the Naesabon (內賜本) - of the early Joseon Dynasty period. If we could find out the quantities and the contents of them, it could be helpful for studying the same books remained incompletely now in Korea. In this respect, understanding current situation of the Naesabon(內賜本) is an important subject of the Korean bibliographic and historical studies. The purpose of this study is finding out the current situation of the Naesabon(內賜本) now in Japan, especially published in 16th century.

The mobile harbor is a new concept system to solve the problems of a port. These problems are that container ships cannot be anchored at the dock because they have become larger or the waiting times of anchoring the ships are increased due to heavy container traffic. A new system is designed to carry out the loading and unloading of containers between the mobile harbor and the container ship using the mobile harbor crane at sea. The crane plays an important role when transferring the containers. In this research, various types of the mobile harbor crane are proposed and structural optimization for each type of the crane is carried out. The loading conditions consider the rolling and pitching conditions of the unstable sea state and the wind force are considered. The constraints are mainly the regulations made by the Korean Register of Shipping. The structure of the crane is optimized to minimize the mass while various constraints are satisfied.
중온화 첨가제(LEADCAP<sup>(R)</sup>)를 사용한 중온 아스팔트 바인더의 특성 평가

본 연구의 목적은 중온화 첨가제(LEADCAP$^{(R)}$)를 사용한 중온 아스팔트 바인더의 노화 방법에 따른 물성 변화 특성을 평가하고자 하였다. 아스팔트 바인더의 노화 거동을 모사하기 위해 단기노화인 RFTO를 실시하였으며, 햇빛에 의한 자연 노화 거동을 알아보기 위해 자외선 경화기를 이용하여 자외선에 의한 열화거동을 모사하였다. 이러한 열화 중온 아스팔트 바인더의 역학적인 물성과 유변동학적인 특성을 시험하기 위해서 만능시험기(UTM)과 동적전단유동기를 이용하여 직접인장력과 유변동학적인 거동을 평가하였다. 또한, 열분석 장비를 이용하여 온도에 따른 중온 아스팔트 바인더의 특성을 평가하여, 자외선 노출에 따른 열화가 발생하여도 온도에 따른 물성 변화가 많이 발생하지 않음을 발견하였다. $70^{\circ}C$에서 중온화 첨가제가 첨가한 단기노화 중온 아스팔트 바인더의 경우, PG 등급에서의 고온 등급의 기준값을 만족함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 저온에서 중온 아스팔트 바인더의 인장 특성을 평가한 결과, 인장강도 향상과 함께 인장력이 증가됨을 알 수 있었다. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the performance of low $CO_2$ asphalt binder properties using LEADCAP$^{(R)}$(Low Energy and Carbon Asphalt Pavement) additive as function of various aging methods such as RTFO(Rolling thin film oven), Ultraviolet(UV) lay. In order to simulate the short-term aging of asphalt binder that occurs during the hot-mixing asphalt process, the Rolling Thin Film Oven(RTFO) was used. Asphalt binder using LEADCAP$^{(R)}$ is prepared by addition of a photoinitiator activated by ultraviolet lay. The mechanical and rheological properties of the asphalt binder were estimated using UTM(Universal Testing Machine) and DSR(Dynamic Shear Rheometer). The test results showed that the asphalt binder using LEADCAP$^{(R)}$ additive was improved the rutting resistance at testing temperature ($70^{\circ}C$) and increased tensile strength at low temperature. Also, Thermal analysis shows that the Melting Point(Tm) of asphalt binder using LEADCAP$^{(R)}$ additive was constant although the asphalt binder was aged by Ultraviolet.

기존의 화상 회의 시스템에서는 카메라가 고정되어 있어서 사용자의 움직임에 제약을 주어 사용자를 부자연스럽게 한다. 이러한 부자연스러움을 해갈하기 위해서는 얼굴의 움직임을 추적해야 하는데, 이때 얼굴 전체를 정보로 추적하는 것은 얼굴 전체를 하나의 특징으로 규정짓기도 힘들고 연산 시간이 많이 걸린다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서, 얼굴의 움직임을 효율적으로 추적하기 위해서는 얼굴상의 몇 개의 특징점을 이용하는 것 이 바람직하다. 본 논문은 화상 회의에서 자연스러운 사용자 인터페이스를 위한 자동 얼굴 추적 시스템의 필수적인 요소인 눈 위치 검출의 효과적인 방법에 대하여 논한다. 눈은 얼굴 내에서 가장 뚜렷하며 단순한 특징을 가지고 있으므로 얼굴을 추적하기 위한 가장 중요한 정보가 된다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘은 얼굴 후보 영역 추출 단계를 거친 얼굴 후보 영역들에 대해 적용되며, 기존 방법들에 비해 조명에 특별한 제약을 받지 않으며 얼굴 크기와 안경에 대한 제약도 가지고 있지 않다. 또한, 화상 회의 환경에 대한 on-line 실험에서 좋은 결과를 나타냈다. This paper addresses an eye location algorithm which is essential process of human face tracking system for natural video-conferencing. In current video-conferencing systems, user's facial movements are restricted by fixed camera, therefore it is inconvenient to users. We Propose an eye location algorithm for automatic face tracking. Because, locations of other facial features guessed from locations of eye and scale of face in the image can be calculated using inter-ocular distance. Most previous feature extraction methods for face recognition system are approached under assumption that approximative face region or location of each facial feature is known. The proposed algorithm in this paper uses no prior information on the given image. It is not sensitive to backgrounds and lighting conditions. The proposed algorithm uses the valley representation as major information to locate eyes. The experiments have been performed for 213 frames of 17 people and show very encouraging results.
