In this paper, we study on the systems management for managing ATM network which is especially related to the management of Quality of Service(QoS). QoS management is considered as monitoring function. Therefore, we establish the management model of control and information aspects to manage ATM layer which has resource control, Operation and Maintenance(OAM) functions for performance management and monitoring functions. In particular, we focus on the effective processing of reported performance information caused by the indication of QoS degradation being represented as "QoSAlarm". In order to perform these management activities, the manager can process problem reports of QoS degradation in the proposed manner which uses the priority concepts based on QoS classes. In this circumstance, it is possible to take recovery actions in a predetermined and limited time for managed objects with fault and performance problems.

Tuberculid is thought to develop as a hypersensitive immunologic reaction in the skin to an occult internal focus of tuberculosis. Lichen scrofulosorum (LS) is a rare tuberculid, which usually develops in children and young adults. Rarely, lichen scrofulosorum can be caused by Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccination. With the increasing use of BCG inoculation, several complications have been reported. However, there have been no reports of lichen scrofulosorum following BCG vaccination in the Korean literature. We report a case of lichen scrofulosorum developing after BCG vaccination. (Korean J Dermatol 2009;47(3):309∼312)

Recently, the rapid economic growth has caused urban problems due to the increase of urban population and the rapid expansion as a result of exodus phenomenon in rural territories. In order to solve the problems, we need to perform rational and effective plans for national land development. Generally, we need speedy and accurate topographical information of the object area to go ahead with balanced national land development. Acquisition methods for topographical data include utilization of existing geographic information such as national base maps and related thematic maps and grasping of accurate present condition of object area using aerial photographies or satellite images. When the object area is small, existing methods for acquiring topographical information reveals imitations in accuracy, speed and economic aspect. Therefore, development of a new method is in order. As a result of this study, we recognized that Photo Balloon System to be manufactured and digital ortho-map to be generated could be used to obtain a topographical information for small areas.

The High-resolution satellite images are able to get the latest information of wide range area and to shorten updating cycle of digital map better than the aerial images. Especially, as high-resolution satellite images are opened to public recently and able to be used commercially, the studies that make ortho-images using them, and apply to the digital mapping and the database of geo-spatial information system are having been progressed actively. Therefore, the purposes of this study are to establish the auto-extraction methods and to develop algorithms for automatically extracting buildings which are distributed very much in urban areas and which updating cycle needs to shorten, out of man-made structures in the IKONOS ortho-image with 1m spatial resolution. The result of this study, we can extract automatically extract 72% out of the whole buildings. And we could know that the methods and algorithms proposed in this study are good relatively analyzing the error trend by means of the comparison with ortho-image, digital map and drawing result.
