The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the volume fraction of water and injection pressure on the spray characteristics of water/oil emulsified fuel injected from the pressure swirl atomizer. The mixture of light oil and water by using impeller mixer was performed. The spray characteristics such as SMD ad velocity were measured using PDPA. The injection pressures were 7.5, 100, 200 and 300kg_f/㎠ and volume fractions of water in emulsified fuel were 0, 10, 20 and 30%, respectively. The measurement sections were at 30, 60 and 90mm from injection nozzle tip. SMD and velocity of emulsified fuel were larger gradually by increasing the volume fraction of water in emulsified fuel. The spray angle was decreased and axial velocity was increased with increase in water content. It was found that the relative SMD ratio was increased more greatly than the relative axial velocity ratio in super critical pressure. The relative SMD ratio was increased and the relative axial velocity ratio was decreased with increase injection pressure at spray downstream.

The purpose of this sutdy is to evaluate a defrost model for the possibility of defrosting on wheelhouse window and the heat apacity of defrosting nozzle by using the commercial CFD solver FLUENT. A detailed simulation model has been created which contains the defrosting nozzle, window and the interior/exterior forced convection boundary. In this numerical study, the heat and mass transfer coupled during defrosting and investigated the defrost time for different hot gas temperature, external wind speed and temperature condition.

The assembly of camera lens modules for the mobile phone has not been automated so far. They are still assembled manually because of high precision of all parts and hard-to-recognize lens by vision camera. In addition, the very short life cycle of the camera phone lens requires flexible and intelligent automation. This study proposes a fast and accurate identification system of the parts by distributing the camera for 4 degree of freedom assembly robot system. Single or multi-cameras can be installed according to the part"s image capture and processing mode. It has an agile structure which enables adaptation with the minimal job change. The framework is proposed and the experimental result is shown to prove the effectiveness.

In this study, numerical simulations were conducted for resistance and self-propulsion performance for an amphibious rig in ferry mode. They were performed under conditions of h/T=4.5, 2.0 and head angles of both 180 and 90 degrees using SNUFOAM, based on open source CFD toolkit OpenFOAM. A double body method was adopted for free surface flow. Thrust was modeled with a body force method in self propulsion tests. The results of resistance tests showed drag forces according to the depth and head angle conditions and presented differences in the drag forces. In order to investigate the differences, the pressure, velocity, and vorticity distribution near the amphibious rig were identified. From self propulsion tests results, the thrusts and powers at the self propulsion point were estimated and compared with the thrust diagram to confirm the self propulsion performance.
