유한요소법에 의한 터보차저 커플링계의 실링성 예측에 관한 연구

V-Coupling is commonly used as a mechanical fastener to connect the turbine housing and the bearing housing in a turbocharger assembly. The back plate between the turbine housing and bearing housing would be compressed by tightening torque of the coupling bolt in order to protect the gas leakage at a turbocharger’s operation. This paper presents the numerical and experimental method for the prediction of the mechanical behavior and sealing performance of the coupling system. The test was conducted to verify the finite element model by measuring the circumferential and axial direction strains of V-coupling under turbocharger’s assembly load. Finite element analysis was carried out to obtain the mechanical strains and contact pressures of the coupling. It can be seen that the analysis results are in good agreement with the measured strains from the coupling’s assembly load. And, the pressure distribution of the back plate also presented to identify the sealing performance of the turbocharger’s coupling system.

N/A The main idea of this article is exposing the logical connection, possibilities and limits of the basic concept of `Comparative Science of Arts` presented by the art historian Dagobert Frey(1883-1962) born in Austria. As mentioned in his book, Grundlegung zu einer vergleichenden Kunstwissenschaft;Raum und Zeit in der Kunst der africanish-eurasischen Hochkulturen(1949), that `comparison` is not merely a way of methodological research but stipulates the method of creating problems itself. D. Frey focused on how systemize the general scheme that examines into individualities of the artworks coming from the various cultural background. He founded `Comparative Science of Arts` on the assumption that arts have their own tribal worlds. What he attempted in making one more step forward from the existing theories based on European arts was groping for the possibility of science of arts included arts of the heterogeneous cultures such as African, Asian through `comparison` within the tribal elements. For this attempt he resented four basic motives, namely, Standmotiv, Bewegungsmotiv, Mal-Motiv, and Weg-Motiv based on the physical feeling and the spatial feeling as the fundamental concepts for the comparative studies. And upon these conceptions he analyzed and compared the representations of seven religious arts within great cultural worlds of Egyptian, West Asian, Greek, Western European, Eastern European, Indian and Eastern Asian. And he searched them on not relativism in all the spatial temporal individualization but absolutism of human real natures. Hence, he neglected the way of understanding of arts as merely the conceptual representations and freed himself from the rigidity of all the previous theories relied on a priori condition. And he accepted arts as the existential `mode of securities` within `the existential circumstances` and confrontation of the world and groped for some ways of understanding about the various tribal arts.
장치비용과 에너지 회수비용을 함께 고려힌 다품종 회분식 공정의 최적 설계 및 생산계획

연속식 공정에서와는 달리 회분식 공정에서 에너지 회수를 위한 열교환을 하기 위해서는 부득이 생산일정을 변경하여야만 하고, ZW policy를 따르는 대부분의 회분식 공정에서는 이럴 경우 생산주기가 늘어나게 되어 결국은 회분식장치 크기의 증가가 요구된다. 늘어난 장치 설비비용의 부담으로 인해 공정설계 엔지니어들은 열교환의 가능성을 무시하고 초기설계를 마치는 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 다품종 회분식 공정의 생산일정, 필요한 회분식장치의 크기, 그리고 열교환에 필요한 수학적인 식들로써 구성된 혼합정수 비선형 프로그램의 최적화 해를 구하여서 회분식 공정에서의 열교환 가능성과 그 경제성을 검토해 보고자 한다. 이해를 돕기 위하여 열교환 가능성이 있는 다품종 회분식 공정을 예로 들어 본 연구 결과를 적용해 보았다. Differently from continuous processes, the processing schedule of batch processes should be modified for heat exchange between batch streams. In most batch processes in which ZW policy is adopted, the heat integration causes the increased production cycle time that require the bigger batch equipments sizes. Process design engineers usually finish the initial batch process design neglecting the possibilities of heat integration due to the increased equipment costs in that case. In this study, the schedule of multi-product processes, the required equipments sizes and the heat exchange between batch streams are mathematically formulated in a mixed integer nonlinear programming. A solution of this formulation can be readily obtained with a commercial MINLP solver. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the possibilities of heat exchange in a multi-product batch process.
Group Contribution Method 의 작용기 분석을 위한 전문가 시스템 개발

주어진 분자식으로부터 작용기의 조합을 얻어내는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 프로그램은 rule-based 전문가 시스템의 형태를 가지고 있으며, common LISP를 사용하였다. 추론기관은 전방향 추론을 채택하여 직접 개발하였고, 지식베이스는 meta rule 80개, select rule 34개 및 combine rule 7개로 구성되었다. Joback Group Contribution Method에 따라서 작용기를 설정하였으며, 8개 이하의 그룹으로 구성된 화합물들에 대하여 오류없이 작용기의 조합을 구할 수 있었다. A computer program which gave a functional group set from a given chemical formular was developed. This program has the form of a rule-based expert system, using the common LISP. The inference engine was developed using the forward chaining technique, and the knowledge base was composed of 80 meta rules, 34 select rules and 7 combine rules. The functional groups were chosen following the Joback group contribution method, and the functional group sets were successfully obtained for the substances of less than 8 groups.
