The APU(Auxiliary Power Unit) needs a set of complex pipeline for the fuel supply system where some of the main valves controlling the flow rate consist of the servo valve worked with a torque motor. The input electric current produces an induced magnetic field almost perpendicular to the background magnetic filed generated by fixed permanent magnets. The induced torque deforms the tubular bushing, and directly rotates an armature, which can open and close the valve. In this study, we start from a basic analytic model using a simple electro-magneto-statics, and expand our model to the three-dimensional one computationally applying a commercial code named COMSOL. The result is compared with each other, and reasonable numerical data are obtained for the dynamic behavior and multi-physics system.
Mycobacteria의 Fructus Gardenia에 依한 春色性에 對한 硏究

The pigment extracted from fructus gardenia (Fruits of Gardenia florida Linne) was incorporated into the Lo¨wenstein-Jensen medium and varicus species of mycobacteria were tested on that medium. The ability to convert yellow pigment of fructus gardenia to blue-black color of myocobacteria was been investigated. Colonies of the positive strains have been appeared as blue-black color, if the strains are non-chromogenic, while positive chromogenic mycobacteria showed a green color rather than blue-black. Prolonged incubation usually enhanced the pigmentation of colonies. Tlle results obtained are as follow : 1.Typical pathogens such as M. tuberculosis, M. bovis, & M. ulcerans showed positive reactioon at a time of growth appearence, however B. C. G. (an avirulent mutant of M. bovis) showed negative reaction up to 5th week observation. 2.Photochromogens (M. marinum, & M. kansasii) arid scotochromogens (M. scroflaceum & M. gordonae) showed a positive reaction usually after appearence of growth. 3.Among the nonchromogenic mycobacteria M. avium, M. intracelluae, M. gastri, & M. nonchromognicum showed a positive reaction but M. xenopel, M. terrae, M. triviale showed a negative reaction. 4.From the rapid growing mycobacteria, only M. fortuitum showed a positive reaction. Negative reactors were M. phlei, M. smegmatis, M. vaccae, M. flavescens.
