It is well-known that inducing learner's spontaneous participation and teacher-student interaction are highly efficient way of teaching and learning. The traditional one-sided, teacher-centered lecture seemed to be inefficient systematically to support the interaction in classroom. Recently, the government was planning to provide the students with Tablet as a part of the informatization project, but it ended up providing only the content of the lecture, not allowing the interaction to occur in classroom. In this paper, we propose a system which aims to support interaction between a teacher and students by utilizing the Web server and Tablet.
중등 사회과 교사의 창의교육 실천 양상과 교사 전문성 함양에 대한 사례연구

본 연구의 목적은 중등 사회과 교사의 창의교육 수업 경험과 이를 통한 교사 전문성 함양을 질적으로 탐구하여 사회과 수업에서 창의교육의 현장 적합성을 높이는 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 서울 소재 E 사범대학의 창의교육 거점센터 협력교원인 중등 사회과 교사 4명이 동일한 창의교육 수업을 실시한 사례를 대상으로, 이들의 창의교육 경험과 실천 양상이 교실 안팎의 환경에 따라 어떻게 다양화되는지, 교사전문성 함양에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하였다. 분석 결과, 학생의 배경지식과 사전 경험, 교사의 지위와 역할, 교과내 · 교과간 협력 가능성과 분위기, 실행 시기의 네 가지 교실 안팎 환경 요인이 창의교육의 실천 양상과 질을 다양화하였다. 창의교육 실천 경험은 이들 교사의 교수학습법 역량, (교과)교육과정 이해, 학생 이해 및 공감력이라는 세 가지 측면의 교사 전문성 함양에 긍정적으로 작용한 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구의 결과는 중등 사회과 수업 현장에서의 창의교육 실천 가능성 및 현장 적합성을 높이는 방안과 교사교육에 대한 시사점을 제공한다. This study explored four secondary social studies teachers’ experiences of practicing creativity · convergence education in classroom and their professional growth. Specifically, in what ways their experiences and practices were diversified given multiple contextual aspects within and outside classrooms, and if and how such experiences influenced these teachers’ professional growth were examined. Findings revealed the following four aspects as contextual conditions that diversified these teachers’ creativity education practices: students’ previous knowledge and experiences, teachers’ status and roles in school, possibilities of inter/intra-subject area cooperation, and time. Experiences of creativity education practices in classroom influenced the teachers’ professional growth in the following three manners: competencies for pedagogy and instructional methods, indepth understandings of social studies curriculum, and deepened empathies for students. Results of this study provide practical implications for possibilities of creativity education and its site suitability for realities of classroom.
그래픽 이야기책을 활용한 초등 영어 리터러시 수업에 대한 연구

This study aimed to investigate the process of developing English literacy skills and English reading interests of primary English learners by using graphic novels for children. For these objectives, the following research questions were set up: 1) what are the impacts of graphic novels on primary students’ English reading interests? 2) how do after-reading activities based on graphic novels influence the primary students’ English literacy skills? In an attempt to answer these research questions, this study describes how 25 fourth grade students were taught reading and writing through five graphic novels for 14 weeks. Data from diverse sources were collected and analyzed in a qualitative manner. The data analysis yielded the following results: First, using graphic novels in the English literacy class increased students’ reading interests and led them to read more English books. Second, literacy classes based on graphic novels helped students improve their reading and writing skills. The results of the present research on using graphic novels in an EFL English class have the following implications for primary English education: First, this study demonstrated the benefits of using graphic novels that Korean primary teachers were not familiar with. Second, this study offers an effective way to enhance students’ reading interest and analyzed the features of graphic novels which improved students reading interests. Third, this study shows the possibility to combine reading and writing in primary EFL contexts by using the graphic novels.

The year 2019 was the biggest growth year so far, and also served as a springboard for the establishment of policies to expand renewable energy by launching a RE100 committee, holding a forum and industry meetings to introduce the RE100. Since the start of the 2014 campaign, the number of companies that have expressed their willingness to participate has continued to rise, with 57 companies increasing since November 2018, officially announcing statistics that 211 companies will participate. In April 2019, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced a plan to strengthen competitiveness of the renewable energy industry in order to lay the foundation for an ecosystem where Korea’s renewable energy business can take a fresh leap forward. It was divided into direct and indirect implementations to push for expansion of private sector-led investment in the domestic renewable energy market and to prepare a foundation for the implementation of RE100 so that global companies could respond to demands for production of eco-friendly products such as renewable energy. The Korea Energy Corporation and the Korea Electric Power Corp. announced on October 23, 2019 their plan to implement a pilot project to introduce the renewable energy usage recognition system. It is time for the entity to understand the RE100 flow changes and modify its strategy for procuring renewable energy. The government should set the stage for accelerating investment in renewable energy and strengthening industrial competitiveness by utilizing it.
임상간호사의 연민, 건강정보이해능력 역량, 간호사-의사 협력이 환자중심 간호에 미치는 영향

Purpose: By investigating the influence of clinical nurses’ compassion, health literacy competencies, and nurse-physician collaboration on patient-centered care, this study aimed to provide evidence for nursing interventions that enhance patientcentered care. Methods: This study included 190 clinical nurses at a university hospital. Data were collected using a self-report questionnaire covering general characteristics, compassion, health literacy competencies, nurse-physician collaboration, and patient-centered care. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 26.0, incorporating t-tests, ANOVA, the Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson’s correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The stepwise multiple regression analysis identified compassion, health literacy competencies, nurse-physician collaboration, and general characteristics, including medical and comprehensive nursing service wards, as significant predictors of patient-centered care, explaining 46.9% of the variance. Conclusion: Enhancing compassion, health literacy competencies, and nurse-physician collaboration among clinical nurses can significantly improve patient-centered care. Targeted nursing intervention programs should be developed to foster these attributes.

RE100 was launched at a Climate Week NY event in New York City in 2014 in a voluntary campaign by companies to provide 100 percent of their required electricity with renewable energy, joined by the international nonprofit environmental group The Climate Group and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Since the start of the campaign, the number of joined companies has continued to grow, with 179 participating companies as of June 2019. In the case of Korea, no company has participated in RE100 in earnest in domestic operations, not in overseas operations, as the system and conditions related to the direct purchase of renewable energy by private entities have yet to be prepared. However, Korean companies and suppliers are strongly demanding the use of renewable energy from Apple, BMW, and European suppliers, and the conversion of renewable energy is likely to affect export competitiveness in the long term, suggesting that it is connected to global image and possibility of overseas advancement. The Renewable Energy Choice Initiative was launched to prepare a related law to purchase renewable energy directly from energy consumers, which is considered a problem for RE100s participation in domestic businesses, and the RE100 Act is being proposed. Efforts by the government and businesses are needed to encourage active participation after the establishment of the system.
