In current design, the strength formula for a Gusset-Tube connections stiffened with rib-plate is proposed only in the limited case. And then it is almost impossible to evaluate the ultimate strength theoretically because of its complexity of the behavior. So in this study, finite element analysis were performed to investigate the ultimate strength of a Gusset-Tube connections stiffened with rib-plate. In previous study, it was examined that lateral load is replace by equivalent moment(M_ω) of tube-wall and normal component(P_υ) of the load. Therefore strength formulas of M_ω, and P_υ were proposed considering gusset length, tube thickness, diameter and stiffened length. And interrelations of each force(P, P_υ and M_ω) were drawn from the parametric study based on finite element method.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance of lower order solid finite elements in the elastic analysis of plate and shell structures. The 8-node solid finite elements are formulated with three different ways such as the use of standard strain-displacement relationship, B-bar method and enhanced assumed strain method. The convergence of solid elements is investigated by using comprehensive three obstacle shell finite element analysis benchmark tests. From numerical results, the solid finite element with enhanced assumed strain method exhibit a better performance than other two solid finite elements. Finally, we propose the present numerical results as a benchmark test suite for future solid finite element development.

The traditional approach to diagnosis and management of Zenker’s diverticulum is open surgicaltreatment. More recently, however, endoscopic technique is also frequently used for Zenker’sdiverticulum because it has advantages of shortening operation time, postoperativehospitalization and reducing the complication such as recurrent laryngeal nerve injury. A75-year-old male, who was diagnosed with Zenker’s diverticulum, underwent a secondaryopen diverticulectomy after failed attempt at rigid transoral endoscopic diverticulotomy. Herewe report this case with a review of literature.

The aim of this study is to remove non-productive and increase the operating time in plant which is very expensive and go into decay fastly. And expecially, it applies to the continuous process. As a result, it is seen that the initial failure of spare parts happen around 150 days and the chance failure around 240 days. Besides, by preventing the operator error which is, as follows; 1. handling and the capacity of the number of repairing persons 2. handling and repairing order 3. theadaptability of handling (Human Engineering) 4. the influence of repair it is believed that the safety and the use effectiveness of plant will be increased. Especially, it is though that because this study is possible to apply to all spare parts and kinds of mchinery, it is used more widely.

譯者の言葉…此の短い一文は過日メルキユウル·ド·フランス誌(パリ發行·月二回)に發表されたものにして, 筆者ア·ルジアンデエル博士は東洋通の而も親日傾向を有する佛蘭西人ジヤアナリストである.-此ん日の狀勢から觀れば, 尨大な國支那の赤化は近き將來の可能事と豫想され得るが, 此の支那の赤化が極東を政治的混亂·經濟的窮迫に導くことは最早や疑ふ餘地が無い. 日本刻下の急務は滿溢せんとする新興支那の赤化を防止して極東に於ける政治經濟の秩序を維持するにあるが, それが爲めには日本は先づ朝鮮及び滿洲の維持を確實に把握して, 此處を根據として支那赤化の防止に臨む可きである. 又, 近時極東に於いても漸次表面化して來た露·獨の政治經濟上の馴れ合ひ的堤携を飽く흘排擊す可きである. だが, 斯くの如き事情に直面しながら, 日本が列國に對する外交の現狀-殊に米國に對しての外交が懦弱との非難を免れ得ないのは遺憾である. 事實, 日本の對支外交は米國を恐れて軟弱なのであるが, 然し米國は支那の赤化防止の全權-支那の秩序の再建を極東平和の維持と言ふ點から日本に委任す可きである. 又, 列國も世界平和の上から見て日本にその全權を委任する勇氣が必要である. 此れ以外には支那の赤化を防止する策は見出されないであらう. 以上が本文の大意であるが, 對支問題漸く急を告げる昨今に際して多少參考になればと思つて此處に譯出することにした.

이 논문에서는 먼저 연강 모재에 대해서 여러 가지의 반복 속도로 대기 중과 해수 중 및 3% Nacl 용액 중에서의 피로시험을 실시하고, 피로 균열 발생수명 및 전파수명에 미치는 속도의 영향을 검사함과 동시에 피로수명의 추정법에 대해서 해설한다. 그리고 연강의 완전용입 용접 이음의 toe 부에 대하여 추정한 피로 균열 발생수명과, 파랑주기에 가까운 10cpm의 반복 속도에서 피로시험을 실시하여 구한 수명과를 비교한 결과에 대해서도 소개하고자 한다.
