열플라즈마를 발생시켜 얻은 초고온 아르곤기체에 삼염화메틸사일린 [Si(CH₃)Cl₃]과 수소기체를 주입시켜 고온 화학반응에 의해 탄화규소 미세분말을 합성하였다. 이 때 최적 수소 농도는 3-4와 몰%로 나타났다. 이보다 적은 경우는 미반응 탄소분이 섞인 무정형의 탄화규소가 생성되는 것을 알았으며 큰경우는 미반응 규소가 생성됨을 알았다. 이 공정에서 얻은 분말은 20-60㎚의 크기를 가진 β-탄화규소로 나타났다. Ultrafine silicon carbide powders were chemically synthesized by introducing trichloromethyl silane and hydrogen into the high temperature thermal plasma argon gas. The optimum concentration of hydrogen was found to be about 3-4 mole%. Free carbon was included when the hydrogen concentration was lower than optimum and free silicon was formed when it was higher than optimum. It was also found out that powders synthesized were β-SiC with size distributions between 20 to 60㎚.

If the proximal portion of the fourth segment of the vertebral onery is occluded before the posterior inferior cerebellar artery branch, ischemia usually affects the lateral medulla oblongata or the ipsilateral side of the cerebellum. The lateral medullary syndrome(wallenberg syndrome) resulting from occlusion in this area is common. 62 years old male who has swallowing difficulty, dizziness and diagnosed as the lateral medullary syndrome(wallenberg syndrome) is admitted in Wonkwang university oriental medical hospital Kwangju. We have diagnosed him as Taeumin and treated by east integrated therapy. We classified this as Taenmin-liyoiljung(太陰人 裏熱症) and prescribed chungsimyoinjatang(淸心蓮子湯) to the principle of cheongganjoyoil(淸肝燥熱). In the result, we had the improvement of the symptoms. This report described the process and contents about the way the patient was cured.
녹차 혼합 어유(Fish Oil)를 급여한 비만유도 마우스의 혈액 특성

녹차 혼합 어유를 10주간 급이하여 사육한 비만유도 mouse의 혈액성분 특성에 대하여 조사하였다. 실험구는 총 6개구로 설정되었으며, 대조구인 어유(fish oil, Control), 콩유(soy oil, SO), 비타민 C (fish oil + vitamin C, FOVC), 비타민 E (fish oil + vitamin E, FOVE), 합성항산화제 butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) (fish oil + BHT, FOBH), 그리고 녹차분말(fish oil + green tea, FOGT)을 각각 정제 어유에 5%씩 혼합하여 총 6개의 실험어유를 제조하였다. 각 실험어유를 5%씩 혼합하여 제조된 실험사료를 2주간 고지방식이를 통해 비만유도된 mouse (C57BL/6J)에 10주간 공급하여 체중변화와 혈액특성(hemoglobin, hematocrit, glucose, triglyceride, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, GOT, GPT)을 조사하였다. mouse의 체중은 FOGT가 50일 이후로 급격히 감소되었으며, hemoglobin, hematocrit에서도 FOGT는 타 실험구와 비교해 유의적으로 증가하였다(p< 0.05). Glucose, triglyceride에서는 contorl, SO보다 유의적으로 낮았으며(p < 0.05), total cholesterol에서는 SO, FOVE보다 유의적으로 낮았으나(p < 0.05), HDL-cholesterol은 차이가 없었다. GOT에서는 실험구간 유의적 차이가 없었으나, GPT에서는 FOBH를 제외한 모든 실험구보다 유의적으로 낮았다(p < 0.05). 본 연구 결과 녹차혼합 어유는 어유급이 보다 체중감소, 빈혈예방, 혈중 지질감소, cholesterol 저하, 간활성 효소인 GPT 감소효과가 기대할 수 있어, 녹차혼합 어유는 생리적 기능성 강화가 가능할 것으로 판단된다. This study examined the blood characteristics of obese micefed green tea powder mixed with a fish oil diet for 10 weeks. Six different dietary supplements fish oil (control), soy oil (SO), vitamin C (fish oil + 5% vitamin C , FOVC), vitamin E (fish oil + 5% vitamin E, FOVE), composed-antioxidant (butylatedhydroxytoluene, BHT) (fish oil + 5% BHT, FOBH), and green tea powder (fish oil + 5% green tea, FOGT) were prepared. A diet containing 5% of each supplement was given to the six different groups. Six mice (previously 2weeks induced obesity mouse, C57BL/6J) in each group were used, and the prepared diets were applied to this animal for 10 weeks. Subsequently, the changes in body weight, and blood characteristics (hemoglobin, hematocrit, glucose, triglyceride, total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, GOT, GPT) were analyzed. The body weight in FOGT decreased dramatically 50 days after feeding. Both levels of hemoglobin and hematocrit increased significantly compared to those in the other groups. Glucose and triglyceride appeared to be lower than those in the control and SO groups, and the total cholesterol was lower than that in the SO and FOVE groups, where as there was no difference in HDL-cholesterol among the groups. No difference in GOT was observed, but the level of GPT was significantly lower than the other groups, except in FOBH. Therefore, from this study, amixture of fish oil and green tea can have a range of advantages, such as decreasing the body weight, preventing anemia, and reducing theblood lipid and cholesterol as well as decreasing the GPT level, which is a liver activity enzyme. The mixture of fish oil and green tea is likely to enforce the physiological function of animals.
Effects of process parameters in plastic, metal, and ceramic injection molding processes

Plastic injection molding has been widely used in the past and is a dominant forming approach today. As the customer demands require materials with better engineering properties that were not feasible with polymers, powder injection molding with metal and ceramic powders has received considerable attention in recent decades. To better understand the differences in the plastic injection molding, metal injection molding, and ceramic injection molding, the effects of the core process parameters on the process performances has been studied using the state-of-the-art computer-aided engineering (CAE) design tool, PIMSolver The design of experiments has been conducted using the Taguchi method to obtain the relative contributions of various process parameters onto the successful operations.
