      • 半夏의 修治方法에 따른 細胞毒性硏究

        The purpose of this study is to know the effects of Pinelliae Tuber on the cytotoxicity of human gingival fibroblasts according to brewing methods. Pinelliae Tuber was extracted by water in the state of being raw materials, prebrewing with Zingiberis Tuber and alumen. The extracted Pinelliae Tuber was applied to the cultured human gingival fibroblasts. The cytotoxic effct of Pinelliae Tuber was meaeured by MTTassay and microscopic findings. The results were as follows : 1. The cell viability of the fibroblasts by Pinelliae Tuber water extracts significantly decreased compared to control group. 2. The cell viability by the Pinelliae Tuber extracts prebrewed with Zingiberis Tuber was similiar to those of control group. 3. The cell viability by the Pinelliae Tuber extracts prebrewed with alumen slightly decreased, but was higher than those of PT group. 4. According to the microscopec findings, the number of cell count were smaller than normal in all experimental group, specially in the PT group, and showed the shrinkage of cytoplasmic process in the PT group and PA group.

        This paper is a study on the introduction of Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance System. Nowadays, environmental pollution is one of the most serious problems with which modern societies are confronted. It belongs not only to one country but all countries. Therefore the environmental problem han become an international problem, and has risen to the surface as one of the biggest pending problems between the advanced and the developing countries. The peril that proceeds from the pollution of environment is different from the usual one, it procceds gradually and keeps going on for a long period of time. It is hard to predict the environmental pollution. And once pollution occurs, the damage is generally on a grand scale. Until now, the relief by judicial procedure and administrational procedure, and private relief is used for the method of the relief from the damage caused by environmental pollution. But in order to help the victim promptly and protect the enterprise of the invasion from the damage of the environmental pollution, it needs to establish the system of the Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance. This paper tries to aim at the study on the elements of Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance and seeking for introducing method of it to our country. the content of this paper follows; Chapter Ⅰ. Introduction Chapter Ⅱ. The conception of Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance; meaning, type, function, feature. Chapter Ⅲ. The elements of Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance System; the insured, the accident of Insurance, the scope of indemnity, the escape clause, the period of insurance, premium rate, joint insurance, etc. Chapter Ⅳ. A Study on the Introduction of Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance System in advanced countries such as Germany, Sweden, America and Japan. Chapter Ⅴ. Conclusion

      • 子宮破烈에 對한 臨床的 觀察

        Clinical and statistical analysis of 45 cases of uterine rupture in National Medical Center from Jan. 1, 1959 to Dec. 31, 1972 were. captured out with the brief review of literatures. The results were as follows: 1. The incidence of uterine rupture was 1 in 354 deliveries. 2. According to etiological classification, in intact uterus there were 7 cases of spontaneous rupture it being 15. 6%, 20 cases of traumatic rupture, 44. 4% and 1 case of unknown cause, 2.2%, respectively. In scarred uterus there were 17 cases of uterine rupture all due to previous cesarean section, it being 37.8%. 3. There were 32 cases of uterine rupture in para 0-4 women group among 14, 539 deliveries, it being 0. 22%, and 13 cases of uterine rupture in para 5 or more women group among 1, 404 deliveries, it being 0. 93%. The incidence of uterine rupture in great multipara was about four times higher than that of para 0-4 women. 4. There were 30 cases of uterine rupture occurred in the 37th-40th week of pregnancy and 26 cases of fetus weighing 3, 000-3, 999gm. 5. There were 32 cases of fetal death, it being 71. 1% and 4 cases of maternal death, 8.9%.

      • 실험을 통한 블록 Lifting Lug의 Padeye Hole 강도 평가 및 Lug 구조 평가

        선체 블록 등의 중량물을 들어올릴 때 사용되는 리프팅 러그의 경우 padeye hole의 강도가 전체적인 구조 안전성에 중요한 평가 인자가 된다. 하지만 러그의 전체적인 구조에 대해서는 명확한 설계 기준이 있는 반면에 padeye hole의 국부적인 변형 및 안전성은 그렇지 못하다. 본 연구에서는 샤클핀과 러그 홀의 직경차이가 구조에 미치는 영향과 러그 홀의 강성을 증대시키기 위해 설치 된 pad plate가 구조에 미치는 영향을 인장 실험과 비선형 정적 유한요소 해석을 통해 검증하고자 한다.

        Background : Osteoporosis and atrophic cell pattern in Pap smear are frequent findings In postmenopausal women due to loss of ovarian function, The present study attempted to find out possible correlation between morphologic characteristics of Pap smear and osteoporosis. Material & methods: The subjects were 825 women(age from 35 to 80) who had undergone Pap smear and bone mineral density(BMD) at The Korea Association of Health Promotion, Seoul Branch, from March 8 to May 10, 2005. Pap smears from 825 women were reviewed and classified either mature cell pattern or atrophic cell pattern by their cytologic patterns, BMD were measured using LUNAR DPX MdIQ(Minster, Ohio, USA). BMD value of lumbar spine(Ll, L2,L3 and L4) were measured from 825 women and BMD value of proximal region off emur(neck NK, Wards triangle WT, and trochanter TR) were measured from 818 women and their bone status were classified as normal( T-sore:>-1.0), osteopenia (T-score: -l~<-2,5) and osteoporosis(T-score: ≤ -2.5). And age distribution of Pap smear, average T-value andfrequency ofsteoporo-sis of each region of the bone, percentage of osteoporosis of each boneregion by age group and changing pattern of percentage of osteopenia and osteoporosis in certain postmenopausal period were compared between mature and atrophic cell pattern. Results: Pap smears revealed total mature cell pattern 53,9%(445/825) and total atrophic cell pattern 46.1%(380/825), Percentage of mature cell pattern decreased from 98.2%(168/171)under 44 age group to 13,3%(17/128) over 65 age group and mature cell pattern increased from 1.8%(3/171) under 44 age group to 86.7%(111/128) oyer 65 age group. Mean T-value of each region of lumbar spine and femur of mature cell pattern were lower than that of atrophic cell pattern about -1,5. And osteoporosis has noted in atrophic cell pattern showing odds ratio Ll 13.9, L2 15.3, L3 12.0, L4 10,4, UK 6.7, WT 10.9 and TR 4.1.Atrophic cell pattern started to increase after 45 years of age and osteoporosis of a trophic cell pattern started after 55 years of age. During 50 to 64 years of age period, L3, L4 and WT revealed parallel increased of osteopenia and osteoporosis and Ll, L2 revealed decreased of osteopenia and increased of osteoporosis. nia Conclusion: Above findings suggest that atrophic cell pattern of Pap smear precedes osteoporosis about 10 years and one of predictor of osteoporosis.
