Jamaica Kincaid`s A Small Place has very unique style and form. The text is a combination of prose and poetry. Its style has a lot of irony, metaphors, and symbolism based on post-colonial history and neocolonial conditions. Its form is classified as autobiography, travel literature, fiction, and essay. In A Small Place, Kincaid expresses discontent and anger against the white tourist, symbolized as a neocolonialist. However, in fact, she interrogates the past colonial history and the present neocolonial conditions. Despite using simple and easy words, A Small Place can be difficult to analyze. The text has multi-layered meanings-based on irony, metaphor, and symbolism, which are combined with post-colonial discourse or neocolonial conditions in Antigua`s history and present life. Therefore, we should read for both superficial and internal meaning to better understand the text. In this essay I will investigate Caribbean post-colonial conditions, focusing on the library in Antigua. The library is a very important symbol for post-colonial conditions-because it has multi-layered meanings and connections with post-colonial rulers such as the Condrington family, Barclay brothers, Mill Reef Club people, a Czechoslovakian doctor, a Northern Irish headmistress, and Syrian merchants. Through this investigation, I will show a post-colonial vision as a conclusion. That is an easy and ideal human relationship that breaks the power structure. Through masters not demanding obedience from slaves, and slaves refusing to obey their masters, they can be "just human beings."

내용 기반 추천에서의 선호도 계산 방법에 관한 비교 연구

내용 기반 추천은 아이템의 각 속성 정보와 사용자의 선호 정보 프로파일을 비교하여 예측 선호도가 높은 아이템을 선별하여 추천하는 방법으로 다양한 도메인에서 활용되고 있다. 내용 기반 추천은 다른 추천 방법들과 동일하게 사용자의 선호 정보를 학습하는 과정과 학습된 선호 정보를 바탕으로 각 후보 콘텐츠에 대한 선호도를 예측하여 추천 리스트를 제공하는 과정을 포함하고 있다. 추천 방법에 대한 대부분의 연구는 추천의 정확도 향상을 목표로 하고 있으며, 기존의 내용 기반 추천에서는 이를 위해 사용자의 선호 정보를 어떻게 효과적으로 학습할 것인가에 대해 초점을 맞추고 있다. 하지만, 내용 기반의 추천 과정이 선호 정보 학습 과정과 각 아이템에 대한 예측 선호도를 계산하는 과정으로 이루진다면 예측 선호도를 계산하는 과정을 개선함으로써 추천의 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 내용 기반 추천에 관한 연구에서 일반적으로 사용하는 가중치 기법이 아니라 나이브 베이지안 모델을 이용하여 후보아이템에 대한 예측 선호도를 계산하는 방법을 제안한다. TV 프로그램에 대한 추천 실험을 통해 두 방법의 성능과 특성을 비교해 본 결과, 나이브 베이지안 모델은 아이템을 구성하는 각 속성에 대한 선호 정도가 비슷할 경우 예측 선호도를 높게 계산하여 추천의 정확도가 높아짐을 알 수 있었다.

문화마케팅 개념이 도입된 노후 산업 시설 재생에 관한 연구

The city is the most important space that contains the plan, purpose, and value of life. However, cities rapidly developed without systematical steps along with industrialization. This caused the decay and wearing out of local cities, the appearance of the development promotion zone, and the disappearance of culture, history, and community. The government is continuing urban regeneration to revitalize the worn out industrial facilities by fusing cultural marketing to resolve this issue. Urban regeneration revitalizes the local economy through not only physical space but also with culture, communication, and environmental aspects of cities. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze cases that revitalize the industrial facilities during urban regeneration in the aspect of cultural marketing and to propose a strategic solution for urban regeneration utilizing the industrial facilities. (Method)In this research, theories regarding cultural marketing and urban regeneration are examined and analyzed with a focus on worn-out industrial facilities. Using the 5S of cultural marketing, the category is classified, and six keywords, including sustainability, promotability, approachability, cultural program, historicity, and conservation of original, are deducted. Focusing the criteria for the detailed case study on worn-out industrial facilities in the capital area after the year of 2010, spaces fused with cultural marketing (Kim Chung Up Museum, Gwangmyeong Cave, Daelim Warehouse, and the Seoul Street Arts Creation Center) are chosen and analyzed using previous studies and field research. (Results)As a result, keywords that have been elicited as representative characteristics of participatory design are consistently applicable to every case studied. From a social aspect, Aravena`s public housing is situated in the center of the city, providing easy access to economic activities and opportunities for underprivileged people seeking to overcome chronic poverty. From a cultural aspect, the project creates social interaction by encouraging the resident`s voluntary participation. From a spatial aspect, by providing only the essential elements using limited subsidy, the project is designed to allow residents to extend and expand the building on their own initiatives, which allows a flexible spatial composition. (Conclusions)It is verified that urban regeneration revitalizes the local economy and creates a huge synergy effect through interaction in an array of cultural programs when various elements in economic, environmental, and symbolic aspects with 5S categorization from cultural marketing at industrial facilities are regenerated. This research attempts to propose an effective strategic solution for future planning of urban regeneration. This is significant regarding expanding capabilities for future urban regeneration.

살만 루시디의 『하룬과 이야기 바다』에 나타난 서사의 정치학

Salman Rushdie`s Haroun and the Sea of Stories, published in 1990, is Rushdie`s first novel after the fatwa was declared against him. Therefore, this novel works as a connector between The Satanic Verses in 1988 and The Moor`s Last Sigh in 1995. Haroun and the Sea of Stories is an allegory in which Rushdie is sharing literary and political concerns. This novel, written for his son, Zafar, depicts an adventure of Haroun against Khattam-Shud, who is Arch-Enemy of all Stories and even of Language. The novel exposes the dictator`s censorship and oppression of free speech. Thus, in this essay, I will investigate Haroun and the Sea of Stories as an allegory of censorship and free speech. I will conclude that Salman Rushdie has avoided the binary structures and expressed hope in polyphonic hybridity as a politic narrative.

인터넷 광고 시장의 급속한 성장과 함께 보다 효율적인 광고기법을 개발하기 위한 노력들이 이루어지고 있는 가운데 최근 들어 검색엔진의 특성을 이용한 키워드 광고가 주목을 받고 있다. 키워드 광고란 사용자가 입력한 검색어와 유사한 범주에 속하는 사이트의 광고를 검색 결과 페이지 상단에 보여주는 것을 말한다. 그러나, 키워드 광고는 판매할 수 있는 위치가 한정적이기 때문에 판매 가능성이 있는 키워드에 대한 관리 및 판매 전략이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 판매 가능성이 있는 키워드에 대한 관리 전략 수립을 위하여 연관 키워드 그룹을 자동으로 추출하는 기법을 제안한다. 연관 키워드 그룹의 생성은 사용자가 입력한 검색어에 의해 노출되는 사이트들을 묶어 그룹으로 형성하고 사이트 그룹의 중요 키워드를 추출한 다음 키워드간의 연관성을 판단하는 과정으로 이루어진다. 본 논문에서는 연관 키워드 그룹 추출의 각 단계를 구체적으로 설명하고 실험 결과를 분석한다. 마지막으로 연구의 결론과 향후 연구 과제에 대하여 기술한다.

메타분석을 통한 운동프로그램이 치매노인의 인지기능 및 균형에 미치는 효과

This study conducted a meta-analysis on the effects of exercise programs on cognitive function and balance in the elderly with dementia. As a result of extracting exclusion papers from a total of 288 papers from 2010-2021, 9 final papers were selected, and the effect size was calculated using R 4.0.3 program for meta-analysis. The study results are as follows. First, the overall effect size of the overall mean showed a small effect size with a confidence interval of g=0.38, and second, the effect size of the exercise treatment program on cognitive function in the elderly with dementia was also small. Third, the effect size of the exercise therapy program on balance in the elderly with dementia was found to be statistically insignificant. Fourth, as a result of finding out the publication convenience, this study showed that there was no publication bias as the effect size was relatively symmetrical..Through the results of this study, it was found that the exercise program was effective in improving the cognitive function and balance of the elderly with dementia, and that the experimental group was more effective than the control group. In the future, if integrated research is continuously conducted, it is expected that it will have a positive effect in the clinical field.

바른체형운동 프로그램이 노인의 자세 및 균형에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of an upright body exercise exercise program on posture and balance in the elderly. It was selected for senior citizens living in the Jeollanam-do area to target senior citizens aged 65-82 who are using the weekly protection center and senior citizen center. A total of 14 senior citizens were selected to recognize the upright movement program and participate according to their will. From Jan. 11, 2021 to Feb. 25, 2021, 50 minutes twice a week for 6 weeks, the total number of sessions was 12, and pre-post-test was not included. SPSS for Win 24.0 was used for research analysis. As a result of the study, the upright body exercise program had a positive effect on thoracic kyphosis, lumbar precurvature, and balance in the elderly. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the upright body exercise program on posture (kyphosphotic curvature, lumbar precurvature) and balance of the elderly, and through its improvement effects, vitality in daily life and quality of life of the elderly.

복합운동 프로그램이 노인의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of complex exercise programs on the quality of life of the elderly. The target audience was the elderly living in the G metropolitan city and J province, and a total of 20 people participated. The average age of the elderly is 65-85, The program was designed for 60 minutes three times a week from Sept. 1, 2020 to Oct. 30, 2020. A total of 12 sessions of the complex exercise program were conducted, and SPSS for Win 24.0 was used for research analysis. As a result of the study, there were significant differences in the experimental group in the complex exercise program in the elderly’s unrest, worry, petulance than in the control group. Through this study, we intend to present data on the effectiveness and necessity of complex exercise programs for the elderly. In order to improve the quality of life for the elderly, it is expected that complex exercise programs can be activated and generalized.
