시동병(是動病).소생병(所生病)의 배속(配屬)에 관(關)한 고찰(考察)

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find the principal of the assignment of Sidong disease and Sosaeng disease(是動病 所生病) into 12 meridians and suggest the author's opinion. Methods : 1. The authors investigated the conception of Sidong disease and Sosaeng disease through several literatures. 2. The authors investigated the line course of 12 meridians(經脈流注) and their Sidong disease and Sosaeng disease. 3. The authors classified Sidong disease and Sosaeng disease following the study by Kim et al. 4. The authors suggested the opinions about the diseases that are difficult to be understood direct relation with the course of meridian. Results : 1. The result of classification of Sidong disease and Sosaeng disease into 5 shows that the percentages were 32.96% for meridian's own disease(本經病), 13.97% for organic own disease(本臟腑病), 12.85% for other organic own disease(他臟腑病), 20.67% for related organic disease(有關器官病), 19.55% for etc.(其他病). 2. Therefore, 19.55% of the whole Sidong disease and Sosaeng disease is that which occurred on the site that is not related directly with the meridian. Conclusions : 1. The exterior and interior relation(表裏關係) and mutual communication between organ and bowel(臟腑相通) are associated with the basic principal of the assignment of Sidong disease and Sosaeng disease that is not related with the course of meridian. 2. The cause of assignment of Sidong disease and Sosaeng disease can be explained according to the profound medical theories.

A Short Reveiw on the Acupoints Used in the Studies about Morphine Addiction

목적 : 침 치료는 약물 중독을 위한 효과적인 치료법으로 인정받은 이래 이에 관한 많은 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모르핀 중독의 침 치료에 사용된 경혈 및 소속 경락에 대해 육경(六經)적인 관점에서 이를 해석하였다. 방법 : 미국 국립 의학도서관(PubMed)에서 "모르핀, 침"을 주제어로 하여 255개의 논문을 검색하였고, 한국학술정보(주)(KISS)에서 "모르핀"을 주제어로 하여 629개의 논문을 검색하였다. 영어로 기술된 논문만을 연구 대상으로 하였다. 모르핀에 대한 중독(남용, 의존, 민감화, 중독, 섭취, 금단 증상, 금단 증후군, 재발, 갈망)과 관련된 논문만을 연구 대상으로 하였다. 침 또는 전침을 사용한 논문만을 연구 대상으로 하였으며, 이침을 사용한 것은 제외하였다. 임상 연구와 실험 연구를 모두 연구 대상으로 하였다. 결과 : 모르핀의 침 연구에서 가장 많이 사용된 경혈은 족삼리-삼음교(足三里-三陰交)(전침, 10회)로 나타났고, 그 다음은 신문(神門)(5회)이었으며, 그밖에 합곡(合谷)(2회), 신유(腎兪)(1회), 내관(內關)(1회) 등의 경혈이 사용되었다. 족삼리(足三里)는 장부상통에 의해 심포경과 통하는 위경을 조절함으로써 스트레스 반응에 관계된 심포경을 조절할 수 있음에 따라 모르핀 중독 연구에 사용된 것으로 보인다. 음양이총혈의 하나인 삼음교(三陰交)는 정신 기능에 영향을 미치는 혈분을 다스리며 식욕을 조절하는 기능 또한 이러한 효능에 관련된 것으로 사료된다. 수소음심경의 원혈인 신문(神門)은 뇌와 관계된 소속 경맥의 기능 및 혈명으로부터 정신 기능을 조절할 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 양계(陽谿)는 양명경의 원혈로서 상통하는 궐음경을 조절함으로써 스트레스 반응을 조절할 수 있기 때문에 사용된 것으로 보이며, 신유(腎兪)는 소속 경맥이 뇌와 관련되어 있기 때문에 사용된 것으로 사료된다. 내관(內關)은 모르핀 중독에 수반되는 스트레스를 조절할 수 있기 때문에 사용된 것으로 보인다. 결론 : 모르핀 연구에 사용된 경혈은 다양한 기전을 통해 뇌 기능에 영향을 미치는 것으로 보이며, 스트레스 반응을 조절하는 것이 이에 관련된 것으로 사료된다. Conclusions : The acupoints used in the morphine study seem to influence the brain through diverse mechanisms and it is thought that control of the reaction against stress appears to be related with these mechanisms.

황제내경영추(黃帝內經靈樞)에서 살펴본 팔회혈(八會穴)의 의의(意義)와 형성체계(形成體系)에 대한 연구(硏究)

Objectives : Pal Hyue Hyul has been mentioned in $Nanky{\hat{o}}ng$ firstly and is a representitive acupoint of 8 parts of biological function of human body. The aim of this study is to finding out the process of formation of Pal Hyue Hyul. Methods : In this study we investigated and summarized all literetures from $Hwangjaenaeky{\hat{o}}ng$ to the today's papers which refer to Pal Hyue Hyul, and then basing on it, suggested our opinion about the correlation. Results & Conclusion : The results and conclusions obtained are as follow: 1. Pal Hyue Hyul is based on the Sahae theory of $Y{\hat{o}}ngchu$ and was formed in 45nan of $Nanky{\hat{o}}ng$. 2. Although Pal Hyue Hyul has been mentioned in $Nanky{\hat{o}}ng$ firstly, but because even $Nanky{\hat{o}}ng$ shows the quickening of Pal Hyue Hyul theory, the birth of Pal Hyue Hyul was necessary from the viewpoint of studing ambience. 3. About the reason for formation to 8 types, we think that all the biological functions of human body were represented as 8. 4. Pal Hyue theory had been suplemented and completed by annotations of successive medical men, for example the arguement about Golhyue, Suhyue. And the reason for the extent from the heat disease of the first phase to the associated disease is that it has been useful in the clinical treatment. 5. Because about whether Suhyue is Ch'imgol or $J{\hat{o}}lgol$, whether $J{\hat{o}}lgol$ is Yangbo(GB38) or $Hy{\hat{o}}njong(GB39)$, whether Golhyue is Teacu'u(GV14) or $Taej{{\hat{o}}}(BL11)$ there in no agreement of opinion among the successive medical men, much more study is necessary.

티벳 전통의학(傳統醫學)에 관(關)한 고찰(考察)

Objectives : There has been little known about the Tibetan medicine in the society for Korean medicine. The aim of this study is to review the system of Tibetan medicine and compare with Korean medicine. Methods : The authors investigated several literatures that mentioned Tibetan medicine and organized in physiology, pathology, diagnostics, and treatment. And then, we interpreted the characteristics of Tibetan medicine as well as compared Tibetan medicine with Korean medicine. After that, we analyzed the commons and the differences, and also found out the meaning of Tibetan medicine. Results : The theory of Tibetan medicine is basically constituted of three elements of Lung, Tripa, and Peken in every parts of physiology, pathology, diagnostics, and treatment. Many organs of human body are compared to the fabrications of building. There is a detail explanation about the process of the development of fetus in Tibetan medicine. Tibetan medicine uses taking pulse in wrist, analysis of urine, watching of tongue, sperm, and menstruation, and etc. for diagnosis. In Tibetan medicine, regimen is prior to other treatments such as surgical treatment and medications. Conclusions : There is the oriental thought of '3' in Tibetan medicine, and esoteric buddhism is solved in Tibetan medicine. The anatomy and the diagnostics using urine, sperm, and menstruation have especially been developed in Tibetan medicine. Tibetan medicine emphasizes the feature of preventive medicine.

갑상설낭종 환자 1례 보고

Objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate the possibility of acupuncture to influence thyroglossal cyst. Methods: Acupuncture treatment was applied on several acupoints in the afternoon three to four times a week for 12 weeks. The effect of acupuncture treatment was evaluated with Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and THYROID USG manipulated by a specialist in radiology. Results: VAS was decreased from 10 to 2, and this effect occurred in the first half of the treatment period. THYROID USG scan has shown that acupuncture treatment reduced the depth of the cyst approximately 6 ㎜in the first half of the period, but not in the Latter half. Conclusions : From this study, we suggest that acupuncture may take part in the treatment of thyroglossal cyst.

모르핀 중독의 침 연구에 사용된 경혈(經穴)에 대한 소고(小考)

회양구침혈(回陽九鍼穴)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

Objectives: Although Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul is important for acupuncture treatment in emergency and has been widely used, but there is few study about that, except some comments in ancient literatures. So in this study, the author reviewed the Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul, investigating the composition and the function, and found the meaning with analysis based on meridian. Methods: 1. The author reviewed several ancient literatures related with the Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul. 2. The author investigated the composition of Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul, and the location, acupuncture treatment, specificity, disease of each acupoint. 3. Following the investigation, the author found the meaning, the mechanism of function, and the clinical usefulness, based on analysis with meridian. Results: 1. Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul had been referred in 『Chim Gu Chwei Young』for the first time. 2. Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul is composed of 9 acupoints, i.e. 1 acupoint of Governor Vessel, 1 acupoint of Conception Vessel, 2 acupoints of Yang Myoung meridian, 1 acupoint of So Yang meridian, 1 acupoint of Tae Eum meridian, 2 acupoints of So Eum meridian, 1 acupoint of Gwel Eum meridian. 3. It has not been controversial since the comment of 『Chim Gu Chwei Young』, and it became the origin. Conclusions: 1. Hwe Yang Gu Chim Hyul can be used for an emergency resulted from chronic disease based on heart failure and accumulation of food.

중풍칠처혈(中風七處穴)에 관(關)한 소고(小考)

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to review the Seven Acupoints for Stroke and reveal the meaning of the composition of that. Methods: 1. The authors reviewed several literatures and studies related with the Seven Acupoints for Stroke. 2. We investigated the composition of Seven Acupoints for Stroke and found the mechanism of the function and clinical usefulness of that. Results and Conclusions: 1. Seven Acupoints for Stroke is composed of 7 acupoints, i.e. 1 acupoint of Governer Vessel, 2 acupoints of Yang Myoung meridian, and 4 acupoints of So Yang meridian construct that. 3. Seven Acupoints for Stroke can be used for many of central nervous disease related with stress.

단기 기억력에 대한 자침의 효과

Objectives:This study was performed to know whether acupuncture on acupoints GB20, GV20-GV21-GV22, Tonifying Pericardium Meridian, BL10, ST4 that are known to calm spirit and used frequently in clinic could be effective on improvement of short term memory. Materials & Methods:29 adults were subjected to Digit span test, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale test, and Nonsense syllable test. Subjects were assigned to control group and the five acupuncture groups randomly. Results:In the Digit span test, GV20-GV21-GV22, Tonifying Pericardium Meridian, BL10, and ST4 groups have shown significant predominance compared to the control group;while in the nonsense syllable test, GB20 exerted significant effect compared to the control group. However, in the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale test, there was no significant difference. Conclusions:Results of this study suggest that GB20, GV20-GV21-GV22, Tonifying Pericardium Meridian, BL10, ST4 acupunctures may be an effective treatment for the improvement of short term memory. However, the difference of effectiveness should be considered in the clinical treatment.

음양이총혈(陰陽二總穴)의 최산(催産) 작용(作用)에 관(關)한 문헌적(文獻的) 연구(硏究)

Objectives: LI5 and SP6 have been used with a limit in ovary-related disease. But there is few study about the history, the reason, and the mechanism. So, this study was performed to review the literatures related with Eumyangyichonghyul and find the clinical usefulness of that. Methods: 1. The authors reviewed several literatures related with the Eumyangyichonghyul and some scientific studies. 2. We investigated the history and meaning of that, and the relation between the results of scientific studies and the function of that. 3. We found the usefulness based on ancient literatures and scientific studies. Results and Conclusions: 1. Eumyangyichonghyul has been prohibition of acupuncture since had been written on 『Dong In Su Hyul Chim Gu Do Gyung』. 2. Eumyangyichonghyul could suppress the fetus like as it promotes the delivery. 3. The explanations of ancient literatures and the scientific studies are very similar in viewpoint of whole body mechanism.
