The purpose of this study is to analyze factors influencing knowledge management activities through empirical research, and to propose policy directions. Moreover, the author of this study is to categorize the agencies as the subjects into those whose knowledge management was introduced within three years to date(in introduction stage) and those whose knowledge management was introduced more than three years ago(in fixation stage), to understand the influencing power of each factor through comparative researches by the durations of introduction of knowledge management, and to propose differentiated strategies and programs of management. In general, agencies whose knowledge management was introduced within three years were most affected by relational and management factors, while those whose knowledge management was introduced more than three years ago were most affected by IT and relational factors.

This paper examines the operational status of the government support facility, enhances publicity and accountability, grasps the actual situation of service provision, improves the quality of service, and provides an opportunity to inspect the operation of facilities. As a result of the study, the public role should be strengthened in the sense of establishing the local safety net, and the support and management supervision of the basic local governments should be strengthened. A system of linking and consulting between public officials and local children's centers should be established, continuous and regular networking should be organized, specific plans for expanding and operating financial support for local children's centers should be established, do. Current support is inadequate to operate the center, so it is necessary to provide practical support in accordance with the needs of the child and the operation of the center.

A traumatic pulmonary pseudocyst is a rare complication of blunt thoracic trauma. The clinical symptoms and signs are similar to other respiratory diseases, such as pulmonary tuberculosis. Therefore, a trauma history with the resulting radiologic and clinical findings is important for making a diagnosis. A 26-year-old male was admitted to our hospital due to cough for 3 days. The chest x-ray revealed diffuse infiltrations and a cavitary lesion at the left lung. His left chest had hit a tree as a result of motorcycle accident one day before admission. Initially, it was assumed that his symptoms and chest X-ray might be due to a tuberculosis infection. However, bronchoscopy revealed old blood clots at both lungs, particularly in the left lower lobe bronchus. A transbronchial lung biopsy showed alveolar hemorrhage. A traumatic pulmonary pseudocyst was diagnosed from his trauma history and these findings. Computed tomography of the chest performed 4 months later showed regression of the cavitary lesion.

실험적 신동맥폐색에 의한 신경색의 출력 도플러 초음파소견 : 나선식 CT소견과의 비교

Purpose : To evaluate the efficacy of power Doppler ultrasonography (PDUS) in depicting renal infarction inrabbits during experimental renal segmental arterial occlusion, and to compare the results with those of CTscanning. Materials and Methods : In 28 rabbits weighing 2.5-4kg, the segmental renal artery was occluded throughthe left main renal artery by embolization with Ivalon (Nycomed, Paris, France). Power Doppler ultrasonography andspiral CT scanning were performed before and at 2, 5, 8, 15, and 24 hours, and 3 and 7 days after occlusion of thesegmental renal artery. The location of infarcted areas and collaterals, as seen on PDUS and CT scans, wasevaluated by two radiologists. Results : In all cases, as seen on power Doppler ultrasonography, infaretedareas-when compared with normal parenchyma, clearly demonstrated wedge-shaped perfusion defects in the kidney. Thelocation of the lesion closely corresponded to the location seen during CT scanning. After renal arterialocclusion, transiently congested capsular arteries, which were named ‘capsular sign’, were seen in 63% ofrabbits in the two and five-hour groups. No significant cortical rim sign was demonstrated on power Dopplerultrasonography, though it was noted on spiral CT at 15 and 24 hours, and 3 and 7 days after renal arterialocclusion. Conclusion : Power Doppler ultrasonography was useful for the diagnosis of renal infarction. Congestedcapsular artery seen in the early stage of renal infarction might be a characteristic finding of this condition,as seen on power Doppler ultrasonography.

Selenium 섭취가 열 부하인 반신수욕 시 발한과 활동한선밀도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of supplementary selenium on sweating and activated sweat gland density (ASGD) after heat load with half-body immersion (42±0.5, 30 min), All subjects participated in two repeated experiments at one week interval. Subjects were given 500㏄ water with or without selenium (100 ㎍) prior 1 hour before heat load with half-body bathing for 30 min. This study obtained the mean ASGD from torso (chest, upper back, lower back, abdomen) and limb (upper arm, forearm, thigh, and leg) before and after heat load. Selenium consumption attenuated the decrease in local sweating and active sweat gland density after heat loading, resulting in a significant decrease in whole body sweat loss at rest and after heating compared with those in the placebo group, Selenium contributed to inhibit the reduction in active sweat gland density and to decrease local (torso and limb) sweating compared with those in the placebo group.

This study is designed to provide to develop silver industrial design theory for the emotional branding strategy of silver industry. These design theory is to encourage the adjustment of the silver generation to the changeable society through identifying a relationship of self-esteem and consequence about their quality of life. Elders may be diverse according to the specific backgrounds of the participants (for example, sex, socioeconomic status, geographic regions, etc.), they need emotional quality from the environment, goods and people around to encourage for having positive attitude in their lifestyle and to get rid of the grown solitary psychology. To help the elderly feel the quality of their life as satisfaction is the ultimate goal of this study by creating new concept of silver industrial design. In conclusion, the theoretical silver industrial design elements are created such as "5S-Design Theory", Smart Design, Self-Expressive Design. Service Design, Socio-Cultural Design, Sustainable Design.

늑골의 팽창성 종괴

A 60-year-old man visited our hospital because of the incidentally found mass of the rib on chest radiography. Chest X-ray showed expansile bony hypertrophy on left 5th rib and bone setting of the computed tomography scan of chest revealed 4.2×2.5 cm sized, elongated bony expansion with geographic radiolucent lesion in the medullary cavity and cortical thinning. Technetium-99m bone scintigraphy showed diffusely increased radioactivity along the left 5th rib. We present this case to discuss about a possible differential diagnosis in this type of lesion.
