This paper deals with the algebraic design procedure of proportional integral observers for linear uncertain systems. The observer equation is represented as an algebraic form by using BPF expension. It is shown that, when modeling errors and sensor noise are present, proportional integral observer permits to achieve good convergence and filtering properties. The validity of proposed method is established with simulation results and comparations to the existing methods

잊혀지는 토착어에 관한 관찰 : 始興郡 儀旺邑을 중심으로

One outstanding feature of the urbanization of the rural areas, occurring as our country becomes industrialized, is a change in the folkways, living utensils and geographical names of the areas. In ofter words, as some of the utensils and traditional customs that existed before urbanization disappear, the names attached to them are falliug into disuse and being forgotten. It this phenomenon continues, many of the native names and expressions will become extinct, make it difficult to understand the rural life before urbanization. It has been found by this investigation that some native words involved in the phenomenon above have acquired new symbolic meanings, but also that some other native words concerned with traditional folkwasy have regained their original meanings as a result of campaign to restore traditional customs. As a result of the revival, for example, of traditional wrestling, a sport that had long been popular in rural areas, wrestling terms such as "mureup-chiki", "antari-geolki", etc. have become current again. The tendency of the administrative offices to rename rural administrative areas on the basis of Chinese characters has been found to work against the continuing existence of the natural traditional names of natural-born villages. It is found that the best way to maintain traditional natural terms and names is to maintain or revive traditional folkways, and it is advised that all the traditional natural names of villages be recorded before they are completely lost.

In general, the thermal loading due to temperature gradient in the box girder bridge cross section is known as the major cause of longitudinal crack. The temperature gradient in the cross section is originated from the complex heat exchange phenomena between structure and the thermal environments. For the realistic thermal analysis of prestressed concrete box girder bridges, it is necessary to model the solar beam insolation varying during the year-round, the time of sunset and sunrise and the length of overhanging shade. In this paper, the factors affecting thermal response of PSC box girder bridge are investigated. The finite element code BTAP(Bridge Thermal Analysis Program) is developed on the basis of the theories described in this paper. The validation of BTAP is tested through comparison of the observed data and analytical thermal responses.

In general, the structural safety assessment of public facilities is done by numerical analysis. But, the more rational assessment method is necessary for the realistic safety evaluation of the structures being in use. One of the alternatives is small scale model testing of original structure. In this paper, the safety evaluation methodology by small scale model tesing is considered with the example of subway structure which are cut off in the wall for passage. For the realistic small scale model, it is necessary to investigate the state of prototype stucutres by nondestructive test, coring and strength test, carbonation test of concrete and tensile test of reinforcing steel. The small scale model is constructed on the basis of test result and similitude rule and tested accoridng to the design conditions and other loading case. The test results obtained are interpreted as prototype by similitude rule. The example cited in this paper is given as a typical procedure for the rational safety assessment of structure.

한국의 지역격차는 소위 윌리엄슨의 역 U 자형 형태를 취하면서 점차 감소하고 있는 것으로 알려지고 있다. 기존의 몇몇 연구에서도 비슷한 결과를 밝히고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 지역격차에 대한 연구는 자료의 부족과 서로 다른 분석방법을 사용하고 있어 상호 비교하기에는 어려운 점이 많이 있으며 또한 최근의 지역격차에 대해서는 밝혀진 것이 거이 없다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 지금까지 연구된 우리나라의 지역격차에 대한 접근 방식에 대해 몇가지로 나누어 살펴본후 다음으로 임창호박사의 연구를 중심으로 1983년까지의 지역격차에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 연구결과 우리나라의 지역격차는 점차 완화되고는 있으나 80년대 초에 일시적으로 격차가 심화되고 있음을 보여주고 있다. Korea's regional disparity is declining as William's Upattern and successful rather than other developing countries. But the study of Korea's regional disparity is difficult to compare other countries, because of data and analysis to use. So, this study's first purpose is to investigate some controversities of regional disparity. Second purpose is to examine recent process of regional disparity. The study's results are that korea's regional disparity is declining by slow degree and the pattern of regional disparity is similiar stegosaurus's spine.
고속월쉬변환을 이용한 비선형계의 적응형 최적제어에 관한 연구

This paper presents the adaptive approach method for the optimal control of nonlinear systems, which is based on the Picard's iterative approximation and fast Walsh transformation. It is difficult to apply the original Walsh function method to the control of the nonlinear systems. STWS(single term Walsh series) method requires many calculations of inverse matrices, which are not necessary in this method. Control probelms related to nonlinear systems are reduced to algebraic equations based on the operation rules of Walsh series. The proposed method is easily application to the analysis and control of the nonlinear systems.
