교육중심의 산학협동 모델 : LG전자와 한동대학교 사례를 중심으로

본 논문에서는 한동대학교 전산전자공학부와 LG전자의 산학협동 사례를 통해 기존의 연구중심의 산학협동 모델에서 탈피한 교육중심의 새로운 모델을 제시한다. 이 교육중심 산학협동 모델에서는 전통적인 관심이었던 연구 프로젝트의 성공이나 새로운 공학기술의 개발 대신에 현장에서 경쟁력 있는 교육을 제공함으로써 우수한 인력을 기업에 공급하는 것을 기본적인 목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 모델을 통해 기업과 학교 그리고 수요자인 학생 등 모두에게 긍정적인 효과를 기대할 수 있다는 점을 밝혔으며, 이 모델에서의 핵심 프로그램인 수요자 중심의 공동교과과정에 대해서 개발과정 및 운영내용을 살펴보고 현재 상황에서의 평가 결과를 제시한다. We present a new collaboration model between industry and university through the case study of LG Electronics and Handong Global University. The aim of this education-oriented model is providing highly competitive engineers to the fields instead of accomplishing research projects or developing a new high-end technology. The proposed cooperation model is a win-win strategy for both academia and industry to have not only short-term but also long term benefits. We discuss how to develope and manage the demand-driven course which is the core program of our model. And we also evaluate the pros and cons of this collaboration model.

한국 예술가소설의 성격과 전개양상

In the late Yi Dynasty, many biographies of artists were created. By the way, the tradition of biography was stopped in the 20th century. Instead of that, many artist`s novels were created in the 20th century. Many main characters of artist`s novels believe that the value of art is extremely high. And they disregard everyday`s life. In these cases, wives of artists work for everyday`s life of their family. This tradition resembles that of high class in Yi Dynasty. Many artist`s novels were created under the development of capitalism in Japan colonial period, But the writers and main characters of artist`s novels criticized this system of capitalism. Speaking more concretely, they criticized the profane characters that made great money under the situation of this capitalism. This attitude of them has a close relationship with that of high class in Yi Dynasty. Both of them disregard economical importance. After the liberation of Korea in 1945, artist`s novels developed many new styles. And many new artist`s novels treated the relationship between art and political power.

이문열의 소설과 기독교

이문열은 유교를 중심으로 하는 동양정신의 전통에 대하여 깊은 애착과 믿음을 가지고 있는 보수주의자로서, 근대에 이르러 이 땅에 밀려들어온 서양문명 일반에 대해 분명한 대항의식을 가지고 바라보았으며, 이런 서양문명과의 대립적인 만남에 있어서 핵심을 이루는 것은 다름 아닌 ‘힘’의 문제라고 파악하였다. 이와 같은 그의 입장은, 서양문명의 한 하위개념으로 이해된 기독교를 대하는 자리에서도 그대로 관철되었다. 기독교 문제에 대한 이문열의 관점을 반영하고 있는 대표작인《사람의 아들》및 그의 기독교관이 제시된 또다른 작품인《황제를 위하여》,《영웅시대》등을 두루 살펴보면, 기독교에 대한 대결의식과, 이런 대결의 자리에서 핵심이 되는 요소는 ‘힘’이라는 인식이 일관되게 나타난다. 그런데 이때에 제기되는어려운 문제는, ‘힘’이라는 기준에 입각해서 볼 때, 동양 혹은 전통주의 쪽의 패배가 피할 수 없는 것으로 보인다는 사실이다. 여기서 두 개의 길이 나뉘게 된다.《사람의 아들》의 민요섭이나《영웅시대》에 나오는 여성인물들처럼 패배를 인정하고 기독교에 귀의하는 길과,《사람의 아들》의 조동팔이나《황제를 위하여》의 ‘황제’처럼 끝까지 저항의 자세를 유지하는 길이 그것이다. 그러나 후자의 길을 택한다 하여 사태가 바뀔 수 있는 것은 아니다. 조동팔의 경우나 ‘황제’의 경우나, ‘광기’를 동반하지 않고서는 후자의 길이 성립될 수 없었다는 사실에서, 그 점은 분명하게 드러난다. 그런데, 2006년에 이르러서 발표된《호모 엑세쿠탄스》를 보면, 그 동안 마르크스주의의 유산을 적극 수용한 좌파 진영과의 대결이 작가에게 절박한 과제로 새로이 부각되었다는 사정을 반영하여, 기독교에 대한 작가의 비판의식이 다소 약화된 모습을 보이고 있으며, 기독교에 대한 거리감 역시 줄어들었다. 그러나 이런 변화에도 불구하고, 전체적인 기조는 바뀌지 않고 있다. 기독교는 여전히, 궁극에 있어서는 작가 자신의 동양적 전통주의와 대립적인 관계에 놓일 수밖에 없는 존재로 상정되고 있다. 그리고 이 작품의 경우, 그 대립 관계를 소설의 결말 부분에서 처리하는 방식이 극단적인 모호성을 동반하고 있는 바, 이것은 그 대립 관계의 진정한 해소 내지 극복이라는 과제 앞에서 작가의 사유가 아직도 별다른 진전을 보이지 못하고 있다는 사실을 시사한다. 이문열의 소설에서 확인되는 기독교관은 이 작가의 남다른 문제의식과 패기를 입증한 것으로 평가된다. 그러나 누구의 ‘힘’이 더 강한가라는 측면에 초점을 두는, 다분히 세속적이고 현실적인 대결 관계를 그려나가는 것으로 시종하였을뿐, 상이한 세계관 사이에서의 진정성 있는 상호 대화라든가 열림은 끝끝내 이루어지지 않았고 그것에 대한 시사조차 찾기 어렵다는 사실은 한계로 지적될 수 있다. Yi Munyol is a conservative who is both deeply attached to and believes in the traditions of Eastern culture, which has Confucianism at its center. He criticizes the influence of Western civilization, which has swept into Korea during modern times, and believes that the heart of the problem here in this conflict with Western civilization is the problem of 'power.' His standpoint on this is also shownin the places where he deals with Christianity, which can be understood as one aspect of Western civilization. The most representative work that reflects his viewpoint on the problem of Christianity is "Son of Man," and some other works that also show how he views Christianity are "Hail to the Emperor" and "The Age of Heroes." When scrutinizing these works, one can find the coherency between the confrontation of Christianity and 'power', which is the core element in this conflict. The conundrum encountered here, however, is that the East or traditionalism seems destined to fail, considering the criterion of 'power'. Here, the paths of failure split into two different ways. One path is to acknowledge the loss and be converted to Christianity, as Min Yo-seob does in "Son of Man" or the female characters do in "The Age of Heroes." The other path is continual resistance, as Jo Yong-pal does in "Son of Man" or 'The Emperor' does in "Hail to the Emperor." Even if one chooses the latter path, the situation cannot be changed. This is clearly seen in the case of Jo Yong-pal or 'The Emperor,' in that the latter way cannot be accomplished without an accompanying 'madness'. However, in the "Homo Executans," which was published in 2006, the author's criticism on Christianity seems to weaken and to have a decreased distance from Christianity. The change seen here can be understood as a reflection of the confrontation with a left wing which actively inherits Marxism and has newly become a more urgent problem. Even with this change, the general basis of his thoughts has not been changed. Christianity is still ultimately supposed as being something that has to confront with traditionalism in the Eastern thoughts of the author. Despite this, at the end, how the confrontational relation in this work is dealt with is extremely ambiguous. This shows us that the author has as yet been unable to make any progress on his thoughts on the difficulties of the true solution or how to overcome this confrontational relationship.

소설 속에 나타난 사법적(司法的) 판단의 몇 가지 양상

‘판결의 형태로 제시되는 사법적 판단’이라는 모티프를 포함하고 있는 한국의 현대소설은 상당히 많은 수에 달한다. 그 중에서 우리가 특별한 관심을 가지고 주목할 만한 작품으로는 이병주의 「소설ㆍ알렉산드리아」, 공지영의 『우리들의 행복한 시간『』, 김원일의 『푸른 혼』, 손아람의 『소수의견』 등 네 편을 들 수 있다. 「소설ㆍ알렉산드리아」는 정의에 입각한 사적 보복의 법적 허용 여부라는 문제를, 『우리들의 행복한 시간』은 오판에 바탕을 둔 사형 선고의 가능성이라는 문제를, 『푸른 혼』은 정치권력에 의한 사법적 살인이라는 문제를 각각 진지하게 다루어 본 작품이며, 『소수의견』은 사법적 판단의 현장에서 제기될 수 있는 다양한 문제들을 종합하면서 삶의 리얼리티에 대한 의미 있는 관점을 제시한 작품이라는 점에서, 각각 특별한 중요성을 확보하고 있다. 본 논문은 이 네 편의 작품을 사법적 판단이라는 측면에서 가능한 한 상세하게 검토해 본 것이다. 본 논문에서 행해진 필자의 작업은 법의 문제와 관련된 한국 소설 전반에 대한 이해를 심화시키는 데 어느 정도 기여할 수 있는 것으로 판단된다. 이와 더불어 ‘법의 근본 원리는 무엇인가?’라든가 ‘한국의 법현실은 어떤 문제점을 가지고 있는가?’와 같은 물음에 대한 답을 찾는 일에도 보탬을 줄 수 있는 것으로 판단된다. 오늘날 한국 사회가 ‘소송 폭발의 사회’로 향하고 있다는 진단이 나올 만큼 한국인들의 삶 속에서 법률 및 재판 제도가 차지하는 비중은 최근 들어 괄목할 만한 상승세를 보이고 있다. 사회가 이러한 방향으로 나아갈수록 절실해지는 것은, 섬세하고 개방적인 대화의 정신과 상호존중의 자세로 법의 문제 혹은 재판의 문제에 임하는 태도가 사회 전반에 걸쳐 보편화되어야 한다는 당위이다. 소설가들이 사법적 판단이라는 주제에 대해 적극적인 관심을 가지고 다양한 탐구와 형상화를 시도해 보는 것은 이러한 당위를 현실 속에 구현하는 데 긍정적으로 작용할 수 있을 것이다. Modern Korean novel of including motif called ‘judicial decision of being suggested in the form of judgment’ reaches a considerably large number. Out of it, the noticeable works in which we have special interest can be taken four pieces such as Lee Byeong-ju"s “Fiction, Alexandria”, Gong Ji-yeong"s Our Happy Moments, Kim Won-il"s Blue Soul, and Sohn A-ram"s Minority Opinion. “Fiction, Alexandria” is a work that addressed a question as saying of the appearance of legal allowance in judicial retaliation based on justice. Our Happy Moments is a work that addressed a question as saying of possibility for death sentence based on wrongful conviction. Blue Soul is a work that tried to seriously address a question called judicial murder based on political power. Minority Opinion is a work that presented the significant perspective on reality of life while synthesizing diverse problems that can be proposed in a field of judicial decision. In this sense, each of those works is securing special importance. This study is what examined these four pieces of works in detail as far as possible from the aspect dubbed judical decision. The writer"s work, which was performed in this study, is judged to be likely able to contribute to some extent to deepening the understanding about the whole of the Korean novels related to a matter of law. In addition to this, it is judged to be likely able to give help even to seeking answer to a question like ‘what is basic principle of law?’ or ‘which problem does Korea"s legal reality have?’ The diagnosis appears that today"s Korean society is heading toward "society in explosion of litigation." As much as it, the weight that law and trial system possess in Korean people"s life is showing outstanding bullish trend in the middle of Koreans" life. What comes to be pressing in the more society advances to this direction is the appropriateness as saying of needing to be generalized over the whole society the attitude of facing legal problem or judgmental issue with the spirit of delicate and opening conversation and the attitude of mutual respect. What novelists attempt diverse explorations and figurations with positive interest in topic called judicial decision will be able to function positively in implementing this appropriateness in reality.
