        Most of korea rivers have a wide flood plain land that is useful area in the urban area. This study was conducted about using a high level bern which is useful to green area and is able to plant a tree at the Yudung stream in the urban passing at the Daejeon City. Input data to analyze is hydrological data of Yudung stream basin and meteorological data. In the end, flood flow stability of base bank and planting freeboard height of standard cross section is same follow. Using the HEC-RAS program. The drop based on project flood level after the planting at 400 which is placed the cross section pints were 0.82m. In this time, The drop due to bank height after the planting is showed 0.99m. Standard of project flood level and minimum freeboard height based on "Ministry of Construction and Transportation" or "River Institute Guide" was specified higher 1.0m. In that case, planting is unaccepted at the points. But when the cross section points are placed in other points. High level bern will is considered as the planting for a useful green area.

      • 黃酸암노늄-黃酸法에 의한 Bentonite系 粘土에서 아루미나 抽出

        This report, evaluating ammonium sulphate-sulphuric acid process, is the third of a series evaluating process for the production of alumina. The first report describes extraction of alumina from domestic alunite by sulphuric acid and caustic soda process, the second describes extraction of alumina from clay mineral by isoprophyl ether process. This test makes possible the sulphate treatment of alumina-bearing minerals. In this process, ground bentonite clay is mixed with ammonium sulphate to suitable molecular ratio. The charge is roasted in an electric muffle furnace and leached with dilute sulphuric acid solution at proper temperature. The leached solution is filtrated to remove the silica mud. In montmorillonite-bentonite sample used, the proper resulting variants treated by the ammonium sulphate-sulphuric acid process were as followed. 1) sample grade : from-48 to-100 mesh 2) molecular ratio of flux : 1:6 3) roasting condition : 45min. at 600℃ 4) extraction condition : 30min. at 60℃ of 3%H_2SO_4 50ml.

        The formulars for the bearing power of pile are to be classified from the standpoints of both dynamics and statics, This paper is to get the values of repulsive coefficient and effective one by investigating and analyzing the actions and reactions of pile, drop hammar and soil. The resluts are as follows: 1. The value of 'e' repulsive coefficient is, In the natural earthy stratum : 0.15-0.2 In the natural silt stratum : 0.1-0.13 In the natural clay stratum: 0.08-0.1. 2. The value of 'L', effective coefficient must be amended. 3. The drop hammar is thoough to be driven into with pile, but in fact it repulses, and only pile is driven into with the given speed, 4. Soil pressure is in proportion to the certain depth of pile, but the soil pressure around column capital is proved to diminish. 5. The soil pressure, pressure distribution, and Poisson's ratio in column capital are to be amended.

        A numerical model for simulating to flow and stream bed topography in curved coarse-stream bed is developed by conservation of mass and momentum and for leteral stability of the stream bed, and it applies to the flow-characteristics as introduced a liner differantial equation of second order with constant coeficients for transverse bed slope at the channel centerline. One set of field data is main tributary GAB CHUN of GUM RIVER basin, is used for testing a solution for a sequence of sine-generated meander curves, This case the simulated flow and bed features is in good agreement with that measured. With its ability to predict both and magnitude and location bed scour and near concave bank in meander curves, the model should be a useful for the design of bank-protection structures.

        In the process for obtained reduced iron from iron-ore pellet, production of reduced iron is controlled by reduction process of hydrogen gas. Consequently, for the increase of this product, fundamental knowledge of reduction percentage by hydrogen has has to be reviewed. In this paper, time temperature, volume of hydrogen and various particle size dependances of reduction percentage for a iron oxide pellets were measured. Then, results were calculated by applying oxygen lost in the pellets. The results obtained are as follows. 1. particle size in the pellet : 65 100mesh 2. suitable reduction temperature ; 750℃ 3. Reduction time ; proportional 4. volume of reducing gas ; proportional

      • 固體還元劑에 의한 酸洗廢葉物인 酸化鐵의 充塡層 還元

        In the manufacturing process for obtaining reduced sponge iron from pickling-oxide, the production of sponge iron is strictly controlled by pre-reduction process of the pickling oxide bed by coal coke and anthracite. Consequently for the increased of this product, the fundamental knowleadge of a reduction mechanism of the packed bed has to be reviewed. In this study, time dependences of fractional reduction R for a packed columnar iron oxide bed at 1100℃ were measured for various kind of iron oxides with various particle size, using reducing agents, coal coke and anthracite. Fractional reduction R is measured for ratio of outer diameter of unreacted part r_0 and that of sponge iron r, R=1-(r r_0)^2.

      • 熱酸化티타늄의 耐蝕性에 關한 硏究

        The corrosion resistance of titanium is improved by formation of passive film. In this study, therefore, in order to investigate the formation procedure of titanium oxide film by thermal oxidation, titanium plate with purified oxygen gas has been reacted in a temperature between 300℃ and 600℃. And the analysis of titanim oxide film has been investigated by X-ray diffractometer, SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and gravimetric method. The corrosion of the thermally formed oxide film on titanium has been studied in HCI, H_2SO_4 and HNO_3 solution. The experimental results are as follows ; 1. Titanium oxide obtained in a temperature between 350℃ and 600℃ appeared better protection than preheat treatment in all acidic solution. 2. TiO_2, the stable phase of tianium oxide, was formed at 400℃ and uniformly formed at 550℃. The result was that corrosion resistance increased. 3. Over the 600℃, the oxide film was unstable and corrosion resistance in proportion to incerease heat treatment time and temperature. 4. As oxide film formed, corrosion resistance increased in heterogeneous state but decreased in over stable stage.
