1980년대 비판과 대안의 한국정치사상: 리영희, 박현채, 문익환, 장일순을 중심으로

This paper examines the ideological background of the progressive forces of Korea by examining the representative political thought of the 1980s. At that time, the important tasks of Korean politics were "democratization" and "unification". Lee Young-hee broke the wall of anticommunism caused by the Cold War, which is the external obstacle of these tasks. Park Hyun-chae led the criticism of capital and national tyranny, which is a domestic obstacle. Moon Ik-hwan proposed unification plan to open the road of peace and unification. Jang Il-soon, who foresaw the problem of the universe, claimed ecological life united with the universe. Lee is portrayed as 'the pen of reason opposite to the sword of idol' and his Chinese perception is perceived as prophetic. Park Hyun-chae influenced the controversy between the NL and the PD, and so far it has been affecting some social activists. Moon Ik-hwan's 4.2 Joint Statement, which is the outcome of visiting North Korea, led to the achievement of the 6.15 Summit as the first agreement between the two Koreas. Jang Il-soon realized that the essence of Donghak is 'respect for life' and revived it in a modern way. 이 논문은 급진적 사상의 태동기로 알려진 1980 년대 한국의 대표적 정치사상을 고찰함으로써 당시 한국 민주화운동 세력의 사상적 배경을 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 당시 한국정치의 중요한 과제는 ‘민주화’와 ‘통일’이었다. 이것의 대외적 장애물인 냉전으로 인한 반공주의의 벽을 리영희가 깼고, 대내적 장애물인 자본과 국가의 횡포를 비판하는데 박현채가 앞장섰으며, 평화와 통일의 길을 열기 위해 문익환이 통일방안을 제시했고, 미래의 문제를 예견한 장일순은 우주와 하나 되는 생태적 삶을 주장했다. 리영희는 ‘우상의 칼에 맞선 이성의 펜’으로 묘사되며 그의 중국 인식은 예언자적인 것으로 인식된다. 박현채는 NL과 PD간 논쟁에 영향을 끼친 인물로 지금까지도 일부 사회운동가들에게 영향을 미치고 있다. 문익환의 방북 성과인 4.2공동성명은 남북간의 첫 합의로서 6.15 정상회담의 성과로 이어졌다. 장일순은 동학사상의 본질이 생명사상임을 깨닫고 그것을 현대적으로 되살려냈다.
