The authors analyzed dynamically and discussed a rase of folie a deux manifested as paranoid schizophrenic reaction in fraternal twins. The lives of the twins are just like that of a person. They have never seperated through their lives. They had lain in the mother s womb together,slept under a coverlet, sat side by side in the school and always went around everywhere in pairs. They have hardly had any intimate friends or neighbors, and even when they had a friend, he was not the friend of a twin but of both. It appears that they formed a microsociety, in which close association and free activity occurred sharing their thinkings, feelings, interests, apprehensions and hopes. Through such a life it is expected that they could not grow up independent personalities and their egos could not be differentiated to each individual. And it is probable that the two undifferentiated egos become a whole one and gain safety and satisfaction by their union. It will be very natural that the thought of one partner is transferred to the other through the symbiosis of personality. Most authors emphasize the dominant-submissive relationship between the primary patient and the secondary partner9 but we think it is not inevitable in folie a deux . The long intimate association of the partners isolated from the society w ill promote to form the morbid personality structure that is the soil in which delusions may be sown and flourish.

BrIC 상해에 대한 경향 분석 및 고찰

NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) has offered consumers the vehicle safety information on their car since 1978. NHTSA believes that they contribute auto makers to develop safer vehicle for customers, which will result in even lower numbers of deaths and injuries resulting from motor vehicle crashes. NHTSA has been studied why people are still dying in frontal test despite of the use of many restraints system and they understand that current test does not reflect real world crash data such as oblique and corner impact test. As a result, NHTSA announced that a new test method will be introduced to use of enhanced biofidelic dummy and new crash avoidance technology evaluation from 2019. New and refined injury criteria will be applied to Head / Neck / Chest / Lower Leg. BrIC(Brain Injury Criterion)value in NHTSA test results using THOR dummy from 2014 to 2015 was average 0.91 and 1.24 in driver and passenger dummies. IIHS 64kph SOF test is the most likely to new frontal oblique test in an aspect of offset impact which is being studied by NHTSA. In this paper, we focused on head injury, especially brain injury - BrIC and conducted IIHS 64kph SOF (Small Offset Front) test with Hybrid III dummy to evaluate the injury for BrIC. Based on the test results, these data can be predicted BrIC level and US NCAP rating with current vehicle.

클리페-페일증후군에 동반된 듀안안구후퇴증후군에 1예: 불완전 형태의 빌데르밴크증후군

Purpose: Klippel-Feil syndrome is defined as the congenital fusion of two or more cervical vertebrae. The clinical features are low posterior hair line, short neck, and limitation of the movement of the head and neck. Wildervanck syndrome, also known as cervicooculoacoustic syndrome, is a rare genetic disorder that primarily affects females. The disorder is characterized by Klippel-Feil syndrome, Duane syndrome and hearing impairment at birth, although one of these symptoms may be lacking. This report describes a case of Klippel-Feil syndrome combined with Duane retraction syndrome, which can be defined as an incomplete form of Wildervanck syndrome. Methods: A 15-year-old girl with congenitally fused cervical vertebrae at two levels, C2-C4 vertebrae and, C5-C7 vertebrae, was diagnosed as Klippel-Feil syndrome. Ophthalmologic evaluation was needed due to abnormality in ocular motility. Results: Ophthalmologic examination revealed a visual acuity of 0.9 without correction in both eyes. Slit-lamp and fundus examination were normal. Ocular motility examination showed 14 prism diopters right esotropia in primary gaze, limited abduction, globe retraction, and narrowing of the palpebral fissure on adduction of the right eye. 목적 : 클리페-페일증후군은 2개 이상의 경추가 선천성으로 유합되어 경부운동 범위가 감소되고, 목이 짧아지며, 다른 기형을 동반하는 비교적 드문 질환이다. 빌데르밴크증후군은 클리페-페일증후군, 감각신경성난청 및 듀안안구후퇴증후군을 동반하는 증후군으로, 3가지 중 2가지 임상양상만 관찰되는 불완전형도 있다. 클리페-페일증후군에 동반된 듀안안구후퇴증후군으로 불완전형의 빌데르밴크증후군 1예를 보고하고자 한다. 대상과 방법 : 제 2-3-4 경추의 완전유합, 제 5-6-7 경추의 완전유합 및 제 1-2 경추간 불안정성을 보이는 15세 여자 환아가 본원 정형외과에서 클리페-페일증후군으로 진단받고 안구운동 장애 소견이 관찰되어 본원 안과에 의뢰되었다. 결과 : 환아의 나안 시력은 양안 0.9이며 외안부 및 동공반응은 정상이었고 안저검사상 특이소견은 관찰되지 않았다. 정방안위에서 14 프리즘디옵터의 우안 내사시가 있었고 우측으로 안면회전이 있었다. 중등도의 우안 외전장애가 있었으며 우안 내전시 안구의 후퇴 및 안검열의 축소가 있었다. 상기 소견들로 환아는 듀안안구후퇴증후군으로 진단하였다.

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to identify whether the operation of cultural centers in discount stores contributes to their profitability. Thus, this study is aimed at exploring how the lifestyles of customers who use the cultural centers influence their intention to use the discount stores. Specifically, the effect of shopping value on the correlation between the lifestyle types and usage intention of the customers were examined through a structured research model. To verify the effect, a survey on 139 customers of the Cultural Center of Nonghyup Hanaro Club's S branch was conducted and the valid questionnaires were used for analysis. Research design, data, and methodology – The findings are as follows. First, the lifestyles seeking self-realization had a positive effect on utilitarian value, and lifestyles seeking pop cultures had a positive effect on hedonic value. Second, the mediating effect of shopping value on the correlation between the lifestyle types and usage intention of the customers is as follows. Utilitarian value had a mediating effect only on the lifestyles seeking self-realization. In case of lifestyles seeking pop cultures, the use of Cultural Center had no effect on the intention to use the discount store. Third, an analysis of a revised research model revealed that the store usage intention of lifestyles seeking pop cultures can be enhanced by boosting the utilitarian value through hedonic value. Results – The findings suggest the following. Customers with lifestyles seeking self-realization, who value what is beneficial to them with little attention to the perceptions of others, are highlyinterested in the benefits they can gain from shopping. As for customers with lifestyles seeking pop cultures, they are highly likely to consume products popular in a particular culture such as new products and sports, based on financial stability they pursue. Thus, they prefer more subjective, personal experience, unlike consumers pursuing utilitarian value. Conclusions – As a result, the former pursues hedonic value gained in the process of shopping with fun and joy, rather than doing shopping with a particular purpose in mind. Therefore, Cultural Centers need to offer information that fits the lifestyles of the users so that they are more likely to use the discount stores. However, if the Cultural Centers offer unified, profit-driven products and information, just to increase their store sales, it can backfire, which occurred in the past. On the other hand, if they provide information that fits the lifestyles of the users, it can actually increase the sales. Also, the findings suggest that sophisticated marketing strategies that can boost the hedonic value of customers by linking the educational contents of Cultural Centers to actual shopping, which is beneficial to consumers, should be set and operated by discount stores. In particular, customers with lifestyles seeking self-realization can be encouraged to use the stores by making them recognize the utilitarian value. However, the use of Cultural Centers doesn't necessarily lead to higher sales among customers with lifestyles seeking pop cultures. As mentioned previously, unified marketing strategy is not as effective for Cultural Centers of large discount stores.
