The purpose of this study was to review the recent 3D graphic rendering techniques that can be used as the lighting visualization simulation tool with a 3D Studio MAX's plug-in renderer. This paper presents photorealistic rendering algorithm the embodies accurate image. In the test rendering simulation, a single prism panel was used to see the prism panel's caustic phenomenon for a directional lights. Based on our comparison, this paper verifies a possibility of the graphic renderers as a lighting simulation tool.
시뮬레이션 분석을 통한 반사거울 시스템의 터널 적용성 연구

터널은 밝기가 급변하는 공간으로 운전자의 안전을 위해 조도의 확보가 중요하고, 터널의 조명설비는 주간과 야간에 모두 운영되고 있어 많은 전기 에너지가 소비되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 주간에 터널의 자연채광을 효율적으로 이용하여 에너지를 절약할 수 있는 방안으로 RADIANCE 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 사용하여 자연채광 반사거울 시스템의 채광 성능을 평가해 보았다. 프로그램을 사용하여 바(bar)형식과 폴(pole)형식으로 구분하여 벽면과 바닥면으로 주광을 유입한 결과 터널입구부로부터 20 m에서 바형식의 형태가 터널내부의 높은 조도를 확보하는 것으로 나타났다. It is important to secure illumination for the driver's safety because the tunnel is a space for changing brightness quickly, and lighting fixtures of the tunnel have consumed a lot of electric lighting energy for operating in both the daytime and at night. This study aims to evaluate daylighting performance of Mirror Reflector System for luminous environment improvement of tunnel space by using RADIANCE simulation program. The results of simulation show that illuminance of bar type is higher than illuminance of pole type at 20 m from the tunnel entrance.

As the BIM will be promoted at the government level, Green BIM analysis should be carried out together with BIM-based design. Sunshine analysis is carried out based on the use of overseas BIM tools, and it is difficult to determine whether the domestic sunshine standards are being complied with. Therefore, a module for extracting the information required for sunshine analysis based on IFC, a standard integrated model used in the contraction industry, and a sunshine analysis software program for determining whether the local sunshine standards are being complied with have been developed. On cross-verification using the developed programs and sunshine right analysis tools, the same values were obtained. In the future, in order to allow the review of various design schemes at an early stage in a design, a web based sunshine analysis program will be developed in consideration of a user"s convenience.

In general, theater seating plan for the stage-visibility have been reviewed on the only two-dimensional angles. Diverse and varied audience in recent years, quantitative support for the deployment of the audience design has not done. But recently, a new 3-D BIM architectural environment, are provided to allow visibility analysis in the design stage. In this study, we propose ways to for the analysis of state-visibility of 3-D theaters in the BIM environment, and introduce its's applications.

We report a 43-year old woman of Listeria monocytogenes bacteremia associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). She had been treated with glucocorticoid pulse therapies and a cyclophosphamide pulse therapy for relapsed lupus nephritis class IV. After the immunosuppressive treatment, she complained of fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Diffuse edematous thickening of bowel wall was seen on abdominal CT scan and Listeria monocytogenes was identified on blood culture study. After antibiotic therapy that lasted for more than 4 weeks, her presenting symptoms were resolved and no more Listeria monocytogenes was identified on follow-up culture studies. Infection with Listeria monocytogenes, a rare food-borne illness, can be life-threatening with high fatality rates and is known to occur more frequently in immunocompromised patients, including those receiving high-dose glucocorticoid or immunosuppressive therapy for collagen vascular disease. In Korea, a case of Listeria meningitis was reported, but a case of bacteremia caused by Listeria monocytogenes enteritis has never been reported in SLE patients. Thus, we report a case of Listeria monocytogenes bacteremia that occurred due to food poisoning after aggressive immunosuppressive treatment in a patient with SLE.

Background: Blunt thoracic trauma in children has a high morbidity and mortality. In this study, we assessed the significance of the injury pattern, mechanism and initial status in emergency department on severity and prognosis in pediatric blunt thoracic trauma patients. Method: We retrospectively reviewed medical records and chest X-ray and CT images of 111 pediatric blunt thoracic trauma patients from October 2000 to June 2005. Data recorded age, gender, season, injury mechanism, injury pattern, associated injury, length of hospital stay and cause of death. Result: Of all 111 patients, 68 patients were injured by motor vehicle accidents, 30 were falls, 5 were motorcycle accidents, 3 were sports accidents and 5 were miscellaneous. In thoracic trauma, single injury of lung contusion were 35 patients and 32 patients had multiple thoracic injuries. Hospital stay in school age group were longer than preschool age group. The causes of death were brain injury in 9, respiratory distress in 4, and hypovolemic shock in 2 patients. Emergently transfused and mechanically ventilated patients had higher mortality rates than other patients. Patients required emergency operation and patients with multiple thoracic injuries had higher mortality rates. Conclusion: In this study, patients with combined injury, emergency transfusion, mechanical ventilation, emergency operation, multiple injuries in chest X-ray had higher mortality rates. Therefore in these pediatric blunt thoracic trauma patients, accurate initial diagnosis and proper management is required.

노인의 정상 검사치를 청장년층의 정상 검사치와 비교하고 성별 차이를 파악하며 검사치를 노인병 진료에서 임상적 활용이 가능한 자료로 사용할 목적으로 본 연구를 실시하였다. 영남의료원 종합검진센터에서 검진을 받았던 사람 중 만 60세 이상이며 검진 결과 건강하다고 판정된 617명의 피검자를 노인군으로 선정하였고, 동일한 시기 및 장소에서 검진을 받고 정상으로 판정된 20세 이상 35세 이하의 피검자 1,791명을 청장년군으로 선정하였다. 평균 연령은 노인균은 63.8세(60세·83세)였고 대조군은 31.1세였다. 대조군에 비해 평균적혈구용적, 평균적혈구혈색소량, 적혈구침강속도, C-반응성 단백, AST, ALT, уGTP, 알칼리성 포스파타제, BUN, 총 콜레스테롤, 중성지방 농도는 남녀 모두 노인군에서 유의하게 높았으며 임파구(%), 총 빌리루빈과 직접 빌리루빈, 총 단백질, 알부민, 삼요오드타이로닌 농도는 노인군에서 유의하게 낮았다(P<0.05). 혈색소량, 혈소판, 티록신 수치는 남자 노인군에서 유의하게 낮았으며, 호산구(%), 크레아티닌은 여자 노인군에서 유의하게 높았다. 고밀도 단백 농도는 남자 노인군에서 유의하게 높았으며 (P<0.01), 백혈구 수 , 호증구 수(%), 단핵 세포구(%), 갑상선 자극 호르몬 농도는 남녀 모두 노인군과 대조군 사이에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 노인에서의 임상병리검사의 정상치는 청장년의 정상치와 차이가 나는 항목이 많은 것으로 생각되며 성별에 따라서도 큰 차이를 보이는 검사가 있었다. 노인병의 진료시 혈액, 생화학적 검사의 해석에서 이러한 차이가 고려되어야 할 것으로 생각되며 앞으로 보다 많은 수의 대상 및 검사에 영향을 미치는 변수를 고려한 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Due to the lowering of biological functions resulted from old age, the elderly is known to have many different clinical laboratory data compared with the young adults. But, in korea, such study is lacking. This research is to find the differences between the elderly and the young adults, and also to know the sexual differences, by comparing the outcomes of the clinical laboratory data. Along with that, it is to help clinical usage of the data in the future. The age of the elderly was between 60 and 83(average age 63.8), and that of the young controls was between 20 and 35. In both sexes, MCV, MCH, ESR, CRP, AST, ALT, yGTP, ALP BUN, total cholesterol were significantly higher in the elderly than in the controls. And lymphocyte count(%), total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, total protein, albumin, T₃were significantly lower in the elderly than in the controls(p<0.05). Hemoglobin, Hct, platelet count, T₄ were significantly lower only in the male elderly, and eosinophil count(%), creatinine were significantly higher only in the female elderly(p<0.05). HDL cholesterol was significantly higher only in the male elderly(p<0.01). There were no significant difference between two groups regarding WBC count, segment neutrophil count(%), monocyte count(%), TSH. Many clinical laboratory data are different between the elderly and the young adults, and some clinical laboratory data also have sexual differences.
