一部 島嶼地域의 學童(初ㆍ中)을 中心으로한 皮下脂肪厚測定에 依한 總脂肪量 測定에 關한 硏究

For the measurement on the fat content in primary and middle school students was conducted on a total of 810 students (male 458, female 352), from 6 to 15 years of age. The subjects were all students in the Young Yoo Island, Young Yoo Myun, Bu Chun Kun, Gyunggi-Do total body fat amount was measurement by skin fold thickness with a skin-fold caliper (manufactured by Cambridge Scientific Industrial Inc. U.S.A) at four sites of the body, and it was calculated by Keys and Brozek'sl2), Nam's36), and Kim's26)37) regression equation. As a result of this survey, the following conclusions were obtained. 1. At the same age skin-fold thickness on all sites were greater in girls than boys. 2. The mean value of skin-fold thickness: The average value of the whole body's as well as from four parks (scapular, abdominal, lumbar, upper arm) of the body are much lower than the students in urban but similar to those of students from rural area. 3. By the regression equation of the body fat weight: The students nutritional condions are as follows: Fat weight (kg), fat free weight (kg), fat weight/total body mass (%), fat free weight/tota 1 body mass (%), fat weight/Fat free weight (%), as well as on the whole of the student's nutritional condions are much lower than the student's in urban.

Effects of the rotation on the development of the boundary layer in the transition to turbulence has been investigated by rotating the rectangular channel about its axis. At suction side, the boundary layer in the transition to turbulence maintains the laminar boundary layer, while the fluctuating velocity is restrained by the rotation. On the contrary, at pressure side, as the fluctuating veloctiy is fostered, transition to the trubulent boundary layer is promoted.
花粉荷(POLLEN LOAD)의 소화흡수율 및 동물성장에 미치는 영향

This study was done to determine the effects of pollen load on growth, biochemical components and digestibility of protein from pollen load in rats. Weanling male rats were divided into three groups. Pollen load was given at three levels and comprising 0, 6, 12 persent of dietary protein. Consumption of pollen load 12% protein from pollen load significantly decreased weight gain(P<0.05), protein efficiency ratio(P<0.05), food efficiency ratio(P<0.05), organ weight(P<0.05), plasma protein content(P<0.05) and apparent digestibility of protein(P<0.05). However there was no difference in the protein content in the liver among three groups. The diet containing 6% protein from pollen load was better nutritional efficiency and apparent digestibility in comparison to those of 12% protein from pollen load.
