        생애주기 정보공유를 위한 자산관리 업무기능 분석

        과거 1960~70년대에 급격한 경제발전으로 인하여 국내에는 수많은 건물이 건설되었으며, 특히 2000년 이후에는 대형화, 첨단화된 수많은 건물들이 건설이 되고 있다. 이러한 건물의 전 생애주기 비용 (Life Cycle Cost) 중, 운영 및 유지관리 단계 비용은 전체의 약 85%를 차지 (Teicholz 2004)하고 있어 건축물에 대한 효율적인 자산관리가 강조된다. 하지만 운영 및 유지관리 단계에서 필요한 정보들은 초기 기획 단계부터 설계, 시공 단계를 넘어오면서 각각의 정보들의 호환이 부족하다. 단계를 거듭할수록 정보에 대한 가치는 증가하지만 정보의 상호 호환의 부족으로 인하여 비효율적인 부분이 발생하고 있다 (Foster 2011). 본 연구에서는 먼저 발주자 관점에서 자산관리의 주요 업무기능을 3개의 대분류와 19개의 중분류로 도출하였다. 다음으로는 도출한 항목들을 바탕으로 자산관리 업무량의 비중, 자산관리 업무별 소요 데이터의 비중, 그리고 생애주기 단계별로 발생하는 데이터의 비중에 대한 평가방법론을 제안함으로써, 효율적인 운영 및 유지관리를 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 마지막으로, 제안된 방법론은 공공 및 민간 기업의 사례를 바탕으로 적용성을 검토하였다. In the 1960s and 1970s when Korea experienced rapid economic growth, a considerable number of buildings were constructed in the country. And since 2000, a large number of sizable and complex buildings have been being built. Specifically, as the operation and maintenance cost alone accounts for 85% of the life cycle cost of a building, efficient Facility Management (FM) is required. However, data needed in the operation and maintenance phase are not sufficiently exchangeable with data created in other phases like the planning, design and construction phases. The upper phase has higher value of data but data exchange rate is low, resulting in inefficiency. To this end, this research derived major business functions for facility management: three categories and 19 detailed functions in classification from owner's perspective. Based on the derived items, this research proposes a methodology to evaluate the 'FM Workload', 'Facility Management (FM) Data', and 'FM Data Created in Engineering and Construction Phases' thereby analyzing plans for efficient operation and maintenance. The applicability of proposed methodology was tested by examining real-world cases of public and private companies.

        바틀비, 배달불능 편지

        This paper attempts to interpret Herman Melville`s “Bartleby, the Scrivener: A Story of Wall-Street” by focusing on the story`s “sequel” and the dead letter it introduces. The sequel has been criticized by many critics as meaningless at best, but some suggest the dead letter (or the Dead Letter Office) as a critical clue to understand the story. This paper presents Bartleby as the dead letter to the lawyer, the narrator and employer of Bartleby. Based on recent research on the laid-offs, this paper attempts to reconstruct what Bartleby experienced psychologically when he appear in the narrator`s office. The research suggests he had trouble establishing a trust toward his boss and that he had a certain level of cynicism. By showing that Bartleby rejects the social values of his time and by comparing other writings on the dead letters with “Bartleby”, it argues that he is a message of the pre-industrial era delivered to the narrator who actively participates the main current of industrialization. The narrator, who senses something in Bartleby, is, in the end, unable to read and understand the message because he is already “dead” to the values of the previous era. Bartleby becomes a dead letter because the recipient is dead. The last line of the story, “Ah Bartleby! Ah humanity!” shows the narrator`s regretful realization of the meaning of Bartleby, but his realization comes too late.

      • A Proposed Approach for Performance Modeling of Thermodynamical Assessment to Realize an Oxy-coal fired Power Plant

        We are working on one of methods proposed on technology of carbon dioxide capture and storage, which is targeted at coal-firing power plant due to the increase in carbon dioxide which is the main cause of global warming. Oxy-coal fired power plant of systems is classified as oxygen production, oxygen combustion, boiler, desulfuration and collection, and carbon dioxide recovery. It needs 'oxygen production and optimization of carbon dioxide recovery,' and 'optimization of flue gas recirculation' to analyze the system of the thermodynamic assessment. Young Dong power plant part 1 as our case of research is separated from the same condition of existing steam cycle, and the condition of steam cycle changed on ultra super critical working condition. We plan to do the optimization of flue gas recirculation depending on each condition, which is necessary for the thermodynamic assessment, and further more an exergy analysis is under consideration based on heat and mass balance. A complicated oxy-coal fired generation system is divided by four parts: air separation unit (ASU), air-gas, water-steam, and carbon dioxide compression and purification unit (CPU). Enough parameters is found out and should be optimized for abovementioned four parts. Now we are in the works for analysis of a part of water-steam, and enough working parameters in these parts are doing analysis on referring to young-dong power plant part 1 of the drawing chart and simple working conditions. The detailed working conditions are assumed because of not yet securing.

        『모비딕』에 나타난 에이허브의 ‘카리스마적’ 리더십은 진정 카리스마적인가?

        This essay attempts to find an answer to the question, “What factor(s) lead(s) the sailors of the Pequod to follow their captain when he wants to pursue and kill Moby Dick, the most destructive sperm whale, even to the total destruction of their ship and the crew themselves?” Based on the discussions among the scholars who assert that Ahab is a charismatic leader, it presents a hypothesis that it is Ahab’s charismatic leadership that converts the sailors into his loyal followers, and keeps them as such to the end of the story. In order to test the hypothesis, it uses a theory by Boas Shamir, Robert J. House, and Michael B. Arthur, one of the most prominent and established theories of Charismatic Leadership. This paper focuses particularly on the five processes of the theory, which present the specific ways a charismatic leader leads followers to identify themselves with the leader and the goal(s) presented by the leader. Using the first two of the five processes, “Increasing the intrinsic valence of effort” and “Increasing effort-accomplishment expectancies,” it tests the hypothesis in order to check whether Ahab’s leadership can be classified as charismatic. The first process is applied in far greater detail than the second one because, as the “first” part, it plays a key role in the development of the rest of the processes. The result is that in both processes Ahab shows few clues to judge him as a charismatic leader. This means that it may not be charisma that leads the sailors to follow their leader even to death, and instead that we need to find other factors more persuasive than charisma.

        연소안정성 평가시험 기법을 위한 펄스건 압력파 유도장치 개발 실험

        액체로켓엔진 개발에서 필수 단계인 연소안정성 확인을 위한 연소안정성 평가시험 (stability rating test) 방법의 개발을 위해서는 압력교란장치의 특성과 더불어 안전한 연소시험 절차(sequence)의 확립이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 연소안정성 평가시험을 위해 개발된 펄스건을 액체로켓엔진의 연소시험에 실제로 적용하기 위한 단계로서, 적절한 연소 시험 절차를 개발/검증하고자 하였다. 먼저 펄스건을 실제로 연소실 외벽에 장착하게 되는 압력파 유도장치를 설계하고, 펄스건의 오작동을 방지하기 위한 압력파 유도장치 내부의 냉각시스템의 설계 및 시험을 수행하였다. 이러한 일련의 연소시험 단계를 통하여 실물형 액체로켓엔진에서의 연소안정성 평가시험이 가능한 적절한 시험 단계를 국내 독자적으로 개발하는데 성공하였다. The SRT(stability rating test) technique, which is indispensable for the development of a LRE(liquid rocket engine), essentially requires a development of a combustion test sequence as well as artificial perturbation devices. For the development of an indigenous SRT technique, several combustion tests of sub-scale LRE were performed to search a proper combustion test sequence. At first, a pressure-wave inducing device which is used for adapting pulse gun was designed and a cooling gas supply system for the pressure-wave inducing device was set up to prevent a malfunction of pulse gun. Through the several combustion tests which included cooling procedure of a pressure-wave inducing device, a proper combustion test sequence was found out. It did not make any significant disturbance at normal combustion process. Finally, an indigenous SRT technique has been developed successfully.

      • 모사발열체를 활용한 항공기용 탑재 전자장비의 고도에 따른 방열 분석에 관한 연구

        Aero space electronic equipment is exposed to a variety of environment conditions such as pressure, density, temperature, and so on. Especially, effect of different altitudes is important for designing electronic equipment in aerial vehicle. Therefore, we use dummy-heater board instead of electric board under the same hardware of electronic equipment and verify thermal reliability in hardware of electronic equipment using experimental and Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) methods. Additional boundary conditions are added to modeling for CFD. On this paper, CFD predictions and experimental data are analysed for electronic equipment using dummy-heater under different altitudes. Thermal reliability of modeling for CFD is checked. As the results, CFD predictions of modeling are matched well with experimental data.

        멜빌의 『모비딕』에 나타난 선원들의 행동 동기 분석: 조직구성원의 역할모델을 활용하여 이스마엘과 스타벅을 중심으로

        This paper attempts to find the factor(s) that drives the subordinates of the Peqoud to follow their leader, Ahab, even to the very moment of the tragic end in Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick. This research is a continuation of the author’s pursuit of satisfactory answers to the narrator’s question, “How it was that they so aboundingly responded to the old man’s ire . . . ?” Here, this paper focuses on Ishmael and Starbuck, the two most significant figures but the captain, as the representatives of the followers in the organization. For that, it uses a theoretical model presented by Jane M. Howell and Boas Shamir in their article “The Role of Followers in the Charismatic Leadership Process” (2005). Howell and Shamir suggest the reasons that some followers are more inclined to follow their leader even to the harmful consequences for themselves and their organization. Using this model, the paper suggests that Ishmael and Starbuck have opposing characteristics as followers in relation with their leader, which explains partly why most of the subordinates chose to follow Ahab.
