When it comes to industrialization, Korea has continuously focused on growth matters. This brought isolation of island regions, which are outside the developmental axes. Also, compared to the land, the island region showed higher decrease in village income and population. In contrast, the coastal fishing village had a friendly ocean environment and their own unique cultural tradition. The fishing village in the coastal area has its own amenity and a different atmosphere which people living in the city can`t experience. Thus, due to the village`s unique environment and charm, marine tourists visiting those islands are increasing. Bigeumdo is plentiful in natural tourist resources, folk custom, cultural resources and industrial tourism resources. Moreover, Bigeumdo`s Suncho(Spanish-like) is nationally well known. Also the famous sun-dried salt is produced in this island. Since Bigeumdo holds diverse tourism resources, we can create both material and immaterial tourism resources by using Bigeumdo`s unique amenity. Moreover you can also enjoy the blue tourism. This research suggests the concrete examples for the “development of experiential program” to enhance tourism. With this, we emphasize formation of regional committee and public planning and the desperate need for central & local government support.

근대적 어시장(魚市場)의 형성과정에 관한 연구

The fishery business does not have much choice but to aim at selling, for self-consumption is impossible. The distribution process of fishery products was dependent upon the characteristics of production and consumption. Thus there was a need to have a well systemized circulation mechanism. In order to modernize fishery production, its circulation process must also develop. Since fishery products can decay easily, it should be sold quickly. This made the circulation process of fishery products more dependent upon its “Gaekju”. Around 1910 when production was isolated and separated, and its scale was very small, the fisherman had no direct power over the circulation process. Thus, in those days the fishery business became the typical one of businesses which “pre-commercial capital” favored most. As a pre-commercial capitalist, Gaekju built up its own bases in the fishery industry and continuously exploited the fishermen during the circulation process. At the beginning of the 20th century, Japanese fishermen, who traveled back and forth of the coasts of Korean and Japan, started to emerge. As the Japanese colonization continued, in order to have more control over fishery products, modernization of the circulation market started. A new fishery market was born. The modernized fishery market began at 1889, and around the 1920s it spread to 30 different places. In conclusion, Korea`s modern fishery market had a bad start which involved the institutionalization of colonial exploitation.

윤후명의 「강릉/모래의 시(詩)」에 나타난 그림자의 사유

이 글은 윤후명의 소설 「강릉/모래의 시(詩)」에서 그림자의 사유가 어떻게 나타났는지를 밝혀보고자 하였다. 이 작품에서 반복적으로 드러나는 주요 모티프이기도 한 그림자는, 자기가 제어할 수 없는 무의식의 정신적 요소들 가운데 하나이다. 이 소설은 주인공인 ‘나’의 그림자를 다루는데, 이는 ‘나’의 무의식을 의식화하는 여정의 기록이라 할 수 있다. 이 소설은 주인공인 ‘나’를 통해 그림자의 사유가 ‘죽음과 견자(見者)’라는 두 가지 의미의 층위로 구조화되어 있다. 우선 죽음을 살펴보면, 이 소설에서는 표면적으로는 어머니의 죽음을 전경화하고 있지만, 그 이면에는 아버지의 죽음이 감춰져 있다. 어머니의 죽음은 ‘나’에게 있어서 끝나지 않은 애도와 부활의 징표로 작용한다. 아버지의 죽음은 ‘나’에게 있어서 6 · 25 전쟁의 상흔으로서 삶에 대한 공포·유한성에 따른 회의감·상실감을 넘어 존재의 근원을 향한 탐색, 자기 정체성 확립을 위한 집요한 추구로 작용한다. 다음으로 견자를 살펴보면, 이는 ‘나’가 백남준의 비디오 작품을 계기로 『금강경』에 대한 관심이 커졌는바 여기서 그 단서를 찾을 수 있다. 『금강경』 제32「응화비진분(應化非眞分)」과 제15 「여리실견분(如理實見分)」을 통해 ‘나’는 완성이란 없음을 알고 모든 게 한낱 이름에 지나지 않는다는 의식에 이르는데, 이는 얼마간 견자(覺)로서의 표명이라 할 수 있다. 즉 『금강경』을 통해 알아차린 견자(覺)는 ‘나’에게 있어서 삶·글쓰기의 궁극적 지향점을 숙고하게 하는 징표로 작용한다. 하지만 작품 형상화에 있어서, 죽음에 드리워 있는 ‘나’가 회상(경험)의 세계에, 견자에 드리워 있는 ‘나’가 환상(관념)의 세계에 들려 있다는 점에서, ‘나는 누구일까’ · ‘나는 왜 여기 와 있지요·’ · ‘고향이 뭐냐’ 등에 대한 자문자답의 결과는 일정 정도 회의적이다. ‘나’가 치른 6 · 25 전쟁에서 비롯한 죽음이나 『금강경』에서 비롯한 견자가 사회적인 구조 등의 외부적 영역이나 영적 여정·통찰 등의 초월적 영역의 실재에 얼마나 근접해 있는지를 가늠할 때 그러하다. 요컨대 ‘나’가 더 넓은 세계로서의 객체에 참여하는 의식이 미흡해 보이고, ‘나’가 견지한 불교의 세계가 엄밀히 말해 체득으로서의 앎으로 제대로 펼쳐져 있다고 보기는 어렵다. This article revealed the thought of the shadow shown in the novel Yun Hu-myong, targeting 「Poetry of Gangneung/Sand」. Shadows are one of the mental elements of unconsciousness that he cannot control. This novel is a record of his unconscious journey as a face to the shadow of the main character ‘I’. 「Poetry of Gangneung/Sand」 which is believed to be the alter ego of the author, even visits his hometown of Gangneung and leaves. Here, Gangneung, his hometown, appears as a site of wound-healing-reconciliation and as an essential consultant on human, life and literature. The novel is structured into two layers: death and truth. First of all, the novel ostensibly foreshadows the death of a mother, but behind it lies the death of her father. My mother’s death is a sign of unending mourning and resurrection for me. For me, the death of my father appears to be a persistent pursuit of self-identity toward the source of existence, beyond a sense of skepticism and loss due to fear and limitation of life as a scars of the Korean War. Next, if you look at the truth, this can be found in the 『The Diamond Sutra』. I notice that everything that exists here is a relational machine and it is empty. Here I know that there is no completion and everything is just a name. This is a manifestation of the truth for some time. However, the results of the consultant’s responses to the novel, ‘Who am I?’ ‘Why am I here?’ and ‘What is my hometown?’ are somewhat skeptical. This is the case when it comes to measuring how close to social structure or spiritual insight the death experienced in the Korean War and the truth experienced in 『The Diamond Sutra』.

Due to the decline of fishery, the income of fishermen in islands has been reduced since 1990. In addition, the aging of the population caused by urban runoff is quite serious. The fishing villages in Korea because of its natural scenery and waterfront environment holds a unique cultural tradition. These various resources will allow blue tourism to develop and contribute to the betterment of the fishermen`s living by providing them with extra income. Also people will be provided with nice leisure opportunities, and enjoy their holiday in a quiet fishing village. Chodo, compared to other islands, has relatively more tourism resources, and the effective utilization of these resources will activate the blue tourism. In this study, we will look for ways to utilize the fishing village in order to activate blue tourism. In order to activate the blue tourism for Chodo the following measures were proposed. Firstly, a basic plan for blue tourism should be established and people have the will to participate actively in the planning. Secondly, the tourism infrastructure should be installed. Thirdly, a well-developed tourism program should be constructed in order to exchange meetings with local residents, to emphasize the uniqueness of fishing village, and to establish a right direction for its development. In addition, a reasonable plan to promote the practice should not stop.

도초도의 관광여건과 관광개발문제에 관한 연구

This study was conducted to investigate the potential and value of tourism in Dochodo, located 48.3km away from Mokpo. This island holds a variety of interesting characteristics regarding natural scenic resources, industrial products, cultural resources, folkway, legend etc. We researched the tourism value and resources of Dochodo for four days during this summer in 2011. The tourism development of this island has been researched three times in the past. Therefore, we were able to compare this study with our past research. Concerning locational characteristics, approach improvement, natural resources along with historic and cultural resources, Dochodo has the proper condition fit for tourism. However, the problems which Dochodo is facing regarding tourism development are the beachhead of marine development in the southwest regions, the application of ``Slow City`` conception, and lack of publicity on native resources. Also the function of tourism specialization and fishing tourism must be considered. In addition, they must come up with a development plan of ``safari Island`` and the potentiality of tourism development.
